I think animations have gotten a lot better on One UI but the way iOS has that scaling of apps with the transition in that animation is just really nice to see.
it's already lightning fast, it doesn't need to be instant. When you turn down animations in developer options it looses smoothness and fluidity. I like the feeling of smoothness when it's on normal speed. It feels like the phone does everything so effortlessly. When you turn down animations it feels forced to me.
That's actually impressive Thought the Galaxy will suck as usually, i admit it that we Samsung users have always been unsatisfied about One ui Animation smoothness , but not anymore ! Beta 1 and still doing amazing even when comparing to iOS 17 beta 6 !
The one ui 6 animation was not consistent with the hand gesture, i observed carefully and the moment the finger swipes up nothing happens for a moment and 1 second later the animation works so basically one ui animation has a slight delay
Samsung made incredible efforts to ditch that awful software from the past. From 2022 I feel the Samsung software caught up with Apple. Yes the mid rangers will still be slow af, but a flagship will do great from them
@@a_thousand_balls417 bro no offence but pixel and oneplus don't use heavy skins.. it's subjective to everyone which one you like. 👍 I have experienced both as you mentioned above but still one ui stands top as everyone experienced it on flagship and mid range full os👌
Everything is at default settings you can change animation scale on every Android but that will not help because if you select 0,5 for example that will sacrifice most of the applications.
@@SystemHacks ok ok "Android" then. But my point is that it allows you to have the option giving you greater flexibility on how a user prefers to use their phone. I prefer a faster interface and don't care about how something fades away when I close an app
I like how iOS has more smooth scaling up and down animations And I love how OneUI has smooth and gradually expanding notification bar Both are better in some categories and a little behind in others.
I'd say both are to the point were the naked eye wouldn't really be able to spot the difference side by side unless its slowed. But even then I'd say its hard to notice the difference.
How come that your icons in the home screen is small? Unlike me after an upgrade to one ui 6 android 14, I don't have option to reduce the apps icon size. The home up is not yet supported with the new one ui 6
Let's be real there is no one earth we can pick who is faster as a human But we may prefer type and way of animation regardless of insane speed they both offered
Im currently an apple user (i did use to be a samsung user back then) and i gotta say, samsung did improve very good with one ui 6. Animations gotten better. I will still say this that both apple and samsung are a w here. Although samsung has gotten better organized with the notifications, features, the smooth animations. But ill at least say that samsung did an absolute awesome job here!
Samsung would actually be faster in all animation categories if you put the animation speed at .5x within developer options lol. Makes a world of difference. My s23 ultra is faster than any iPhone because of that. Faster in animations, not necessarily in processing or other things.
Here we are seeing animations frame drops speed is not important. If you put animation scale to 0.5 you will sacrifice lots of animations in different menus.
Ppl be complaining about slow ios animations but even in 240fps slow mo they look pretty much even and toe to toe in terms of speed... Also i dunno how it affects ppl if any animation is maybe some mili seconds slow...
Both are great, even though samsung is like one millisecond slower, its not really gonna make a difference if you actually use any of these phones. And if it DOES matter to you, just change the animation scale to either 1x or .5x in samsung. Or just turn off animations in general if you want instant response.
