- With displacement maps we can easily create realistic materials in blender, from PBR textures to blender procedural textures to make terrains.

Man u are the best. Eeve with displacement technique just awesome
Glad it was useful!
That landscape technique was wild and helpful. Thank you! 🙏🏻
Very underrated channel. Love it!!
Emeğinizi paylaştığınız için çok teşekkürler .🙂
Thanks for this! Great looking displacement brick texture.
You're welcome!
thank you sir
Thank you so much brother you save My Lot of time after teaching this ❤❤
You're welcome!
Really amazing tutorial. Thank you so much!!
You're welcome
just wow thank you👏
Merci pour vos super tutos
You're welcome
Спасибо! Крутое видео
Very nice😊
Thanks
Weldone👏
Great way to generate materials...but now Musgrave texture has been merged with the Noise texture. What to do in that case?
I didn't try the new blender version yet. But since you said that they are merged, just switch to musgrave noise in the dropdown i guess?
If this is not possible: perlin noise and musgrave are very similar. Just lower the roughness a bit and put a map-range after the noise and set it from 0min 1max to -1min +1max
Thanks a lot!, Can this displacement tech be used in eevee-next on 4.1 directly?
I didnt include it in this video because I couldn't make it to work, everytime I changed to eevee next, blender crashed, I'm afraid we have to wait for a stable version.
Is there any method of creating procedural terrains in EEVEE like you did in CYCLES using displacement node in shader editor and if possible can you make a tutorial on it? thnx
Displacement in EEVEE doesn't work... But from blender 4.1 it will work... U can watch videos of creators using blender 4.1 alpha and using displacement in EEVEE
@@saymyname4325 wait really Danng😂😂 nice didnt know that thnx a lot for the info since i always used to work on EEVEE as i hav a potato laptop
@@saymyname4325 Doesnt it already work using a displacement modifier?
As @saymyname4325 said,
We have to wait for blender 4.1, but I didnt include it in this video because I couldn't make it to work in 4.1 alpha, everytime I changed to eevee next, blender crashed, so we have to wait.
@@spyegle yeah but that's for landscape... Where u are using a height map(.exr)
would it be possible to convert it into a game asset and send it to unreal engine 5 while retaining the details?
yes, if you use the displace modifier
hi sir, What version are you working on?
I think I used 4.0, but this will work for 4.1+
have you tried to render ? displacement takes a long time to render and sometimes it crashes. I am doing a short realistic-film and displacement is actually killing my high end computer. ram is on 100% 32 gb DDR5. I think i need 128 gb for this to work idk.
Try rendering with gpu, or dont use adaptive subdivisión, in feature set use supported
@chuckcg i am using my gpu 4090. I tried both methods for displacement. The adaptive sub and displace modifier. They both take around 3 min avg to render in 4k. One last aproach i didnt use yet is to apply the displace as part of the mesh. Then decimate a bit to reduce the count. I dont know what to do brother. I think a ram upgrade is next i am clueless now.
Is it possible to apply the displacement to a mesh
As I explained in the video, only if you use the displace modifier
Hye bro! Love your stuff! Are you open for commissions?
Thanks, sorry not at the moment.
Yooo thanks
