I appreciate your honesty about not liking to write the personal statement. It's a tough convention and sometimes students question themselves or their worth when they get stuck on it. Your tips are super helpful and agreed on students getting help or at least another set of eyes in the editing process.
Med School Insiders: 3 edits, 1 editor, $649 - Physician editor - Topic brainstorming - 2-3 day turnaround Motivate MD: 3 edits, 2 editors, $120 - ADCOM editor - 2-4 day turnaround I would be interested to know why there's such a difference in price....doesn't exactly seem justified in MSI's case
So....the basic English Comp I and II "Argumentative" essay. I can always suggest anyone wanting to write anything that has powerful connection built into it go grab a copy of Donald Maass's "Writing 21st Century Fiction". He goes over structure and hooks and micro/macro tension in a way that most writers only dream of explaining things. That can be applied to non-fiction also. Your writing will go to a whole new level.
Hello Michael! Like others have said, thank you for making the timely video! As I'm forced to work from home (aka staycation), this is an excellent time to work on the personal statement for the upcoming round. Keep safe!
Good Morning Dr! Thank you to you and your wife for doing God's work with the Coronavirus!!!! My prayers go out to the entire medical community. Now back to my regularly scheduled programming: Mission Impossible 4. Blessings. Robin N, Maryland
Hi Dr. Cellini, any advice for personal statement for radiology residency? I am applying this fall. It would be super helpful if you could share parts of yours if you find it! Thanks.
Hey Dr. Cellini! I’m looking for some advise on my pre-med journey. My #1 choice of medical schools suggested I complete a licensure program like CNA, MA, or even EMT to gain valuable skills need for the medical field. Did you complete a licensure program pre-med? Do you suggest doing this, even if I currently work in a hospital setting, indirectly working with patients?
My family story a lot same my mother life story a lot off.my father first waif son chikago dental doctor.ciril chako joseph trivandrum native.chikago where dont under stand.
Tbh guys, as a junior in college who is now prepping to apply, at your stage in your premed career, you are worried about the wrong thing, the thing that got the vast majority of people was not they applied and did not get in (like if they had a bad personal statement), it was that along the way, they were prevented from applying at all (bad grades, low MCAT, no experiences etc prevented them from being able to reasonably apply). What I would be doing if I could go back is I would start to establish ties in my community to try to set myself up for shadowing or volunteering later. That will be more useful than speculating on your story now, because your story has not happened yet. I say this bc I want to make sure you guys use your great drive most effectively.
This video Is more of a promotional video than addressing a topic to viewership. Michael needs to revisit his content. This video doesn’t justify its title. Saying I do not have my med school personal statement to discuss says a lot about the content.
notes persuasive essay. why u wanna be a doctor and why u will be a great doctor. put background/history of greatness (brief with examples) and how it can help with the new community/ your work. body: why u are interested in medicine. why you will be a fantastic doctor. (put examples) (active example not passive example)
what kind of bs is this? fist you say "but this company is not shady charging up 1000 dollars to review your statements" and then 20 seconds later "this package for 1000 dollars" smh :/

very interesting isn't it!?
@@DrCellini It's $10 dollars for one draft at facebook.com/groups/mcattutor and you can get editors who are very experienced directly.
Probably Quality! You can get a burger from McDonald for $4 and another at a great restaurant for $20! Both are burgers but they taste different!
@@MalkeAsaad I concur. MSI has brand recognition and I'm sure they take purchased editing packages extremely seriously.

@@DrCellini ok if I pass USMLE then is it possible?
Why dont you just work in Kyrgyzstan..
@@blueq4324 I can work in kyrgz but I only ask is it possible to work in USA?
It's possible, but I don't see the reason for anyone leaving their country for the USA, it's not that lucritave here

He said they aren't charging that much for *one* review - they charge that much for multiple services in one purchase
