I looked at this and the short wheel base option at the Denver RV show, and I think he was standing by. I got a couple good ideas that I think I will incorporate into my build. I also like the concept of limited options for efficient manufacturing and keeping costs down. EDIT: Damn, that flip up bench back to bed is another great idea
I live single in a RAM Promaster City and besides being cold I do like it. This presentation is very common sense a nice cabin on wheels. I think all the sleeping beds is a little crazy though it must work for some people.
say what you want about having a chest fridge/freezer on a drawer slide, but having one in a drawer sure makes the counter above it a lot more functional because it doesn't move. So Jarrod, you'll be in Maine soon, eh? Congrats. You're moving North and we're moving South. We looked at VT & NH last fall but found out it gets cold in New England and what's more, they get snow - a lot of snow!
Great build....great ideas especially the fridge....BUT as a lady I could never be without a proper toilet and shower room. I shower every single day and need a toilet every morning. What would be a great selling point is to accessorize the can to give a reality look to show potentials just the way retail showrooms do -displays for visuals.

Did you not watch the video? They spoke in length about the AC, and also about the proper heater and insulation since they’re in Utah and are skiers. Watch it again.
Why don’t they do bathrooms in their vans right now? They are very important especially for women because we don’t have the kind of equipment as men have to easily pee if you know what I mean 🌭 and it’s harder for us to have outdoor showers because safety is a big factor for us. They’d sell a lot more vans if they give people the option of bathrooms.
Thousands of people live out of van builds like this every day. Many of them have done it for years. But I agree that it’s over priced. SO much cheaper when you do it yourself.
People live full time in vans with less amenities. One of the biggest mistakes that most people make is thinking they need the comforts of a small apartment to do van life.
I have no ideal why you don’t talk about price with “pros.” If we watch a real estate video it’s customary to know what the builder is wanting for that home.

These van builds look amateur and basic, not professionally finished. I could spot gaps in the ceiling edge, uneven ceiling and basically the worst build out I’ve seen. Sorry, but you need to revisit better building materials and better fit outs. Terrible.
When he said no bathroom…. I stopped watching. Bathroom in a any RV/VAn is anecessity. Hygeine is important. I dont want to dig a hole outside to do my business and I shower everyday.

The 'how do you do scenario, if you need to go urgently to the toilet' before the explanation of the way to do it the right/intended way.

Essentially van craft and winnebago are the same, or at least that’s how insurance will see it. Doesn’t matter if that name has been around longer.
