Another great tour. Rossmonster was at the top of my builder list and I went so far as to speak with them on the phone and got a detailed quote from them. Ultimately I decided to stay local in my Portland area for the build, but they seemed like they were going to be great people to work with and the quote they gave me was very competitive.
Thanks Jarrod for another great video and hooking all of us up with another great builder. Fantastic van! Great options on this! Really well thought out!
Like the idea of a shower that doesn't take up a lot of space....very cool. Even though you might have to allow for drying the shower curtain....it's a good trade off imo.
Great in depth tour! Gotta say, though, I really like the Baja -- would love to see a truck camper (slide in) or truck canopy with that telescoping roof. I was kind of hoping your upcoming truck camper build would go that way -- cuz I know you're not busy doing anything else, lol. Seriously though, hope the Tiny build is starting to get more fun at this point. Stay low-stress and keep up the great, inspiring and informative content! We love it! Cheers!...from North Vancouver
@RossmonsterRigs, I'v gotta ask, as I’ve been thinking about this setup as well for my own build here over in the EU(I want to take 3 kids along), that swiveling double back seat, is that something you guys purchased, built yourself on top an existing double swivel, or just built up from scratch? The folding away chairs are also an option, but then you’re not using the chairs when the gained space can’t be used properly except for easier passage. So please, enlighten us 😊
i have seen a few Mercedes 144 wheel base vans where you can sleep East/West without a flare. You can get about 70' apparently if you bump out the head and foot areas inside the van. i am guessing that there is a thinner layer of insulation to accomplish this. We are not vert tall. (5'9") thoughts ?
Excited for you and the Loft Woods. Watching TH-camrs Todd and Tyler to the North Canadian forrest in the middle of 2-story container build amongst their compound included land prep off grid utilities sustainable seasonal weather living with all year water running thru their property. During your property walk thru insects come with the territory and will be interesting how you approach controlling indoors outdoors. 👍👍⬆️💪😎🐶💪‼️
I’ll check them out. Luckily my tiny is very well equipped for 4 seasons. Will be more of a challenge for the future container or whatever I use. But I’m also not worried as I have some good ideas
I'm adding to my comment. I did some reading on the shower. I like that you could shower outside the back door or side door. I like the Murphy bed with that mattress. It's a good size.
Video had a different feel probably b/c a different you, thanks to the bug. What appeared to be a more laid back approach may have made the video a bit more client led and possibly more passively informative. Hmmm... Anyway, thanks again Jarrod for another insightful video. Appreciate all the hard work. And get better.
Interesting take. I was out of it all that weekend so a lot of upcoming tours like this so if it works I’ll try more of it. Also know that every person is different and more often than not I have to lead the conversation because they don’t know how or what to talk about
@@JarrodTocci Right on! You're doing great and producing great content. Just an observation that seemed to work for this video. BTW, you do seem to be excellent at putting folks at ease to get their best especially individual van owners. Appreciate the hard work. :)
$220,000 spitballed if retailed.... cut that in half and thats a realistic price even for all the nice Victron electronics and Name brand stuff.... For 200,000 i could buy a RIVIAN SUV. Renovate it and it'd still probably be more capable overlander and cheaper.... 200,000 would take a person working min wage(7.26) at 40hr prr week, 13.7 years to buy.... 200,000 would take my nurse anthesisist friend a whole year to pay that off... I know its a show expo car and not really build for economics in mind, more a no holds barred kinda thing...
That's a good point. I live near Rivian, and since they are supposed to be actual electric vehicles, why bother with all of the *_after-market_* stuff? And let's not forget the gas and maintenance.
Couple things here. This van was not made for someone working a min wage job to go adventure with. Then you mentioned a nurse taking a year to pay off, I guess that’s the point as it’s someone that has the money that makes payments on it. They sell a lot of them so obviously people are buying them. To your Rivian point, I had a Rivian R1T and it’s not as easy as you think to just build an overlanding rig. I did build onto a Jeep gladiator and it’s not the money, it’s the time and engineering aspect of it. I think you should look around more into this market and see why it cost what it does before just judging off something you see. These prices are not made up. Are there other that take advantage of the market? Yes! But there are those types in ANY industry
@@JarrodTocci watch a lot of your stuff Jarrod and a lot of VanLife in general. I think my assessments of availability, work, and economics are pretty fair. I think I did an honest job of showing the differences in population interested in VanLife from the min wage crowd to the dual-income-no-kids opulent wealth crowd. And how different those realities are. I think I gave room for grace even to the build team by saying "hope its built for expo and not economics" as I understand every project has to have a function and goal in mind, and that's not always about making it the cheapest or most accessible or mass producable. Totally get the purpose of expo is not "how cheap or how real" but "how cool or how innovative can be be". As an expo vehicle I suspect its built with all name brand, all new, all the most ridiculous top shelf items at the moment. And they nailed that goal. I bet they can build a rig to %95-98 capability of this rig for the aforementioned halfing of the price if they chose to go economic sourcing vs name brand sourcing. So to be clear. Im NOT hating on the team, the Expo, anyone who want to live opulent. First comment WAS disparaging the difference between general "show off/innovating" builds vs "real world, bang for buck" builds and how you really can get %90 of the result for %50 of the cost IF you looking for that. I bet if this team wanted to build a bang for buck model as their goal they'd build a cool and cheap AF rig. Just like they built a cool AF no holding back rig right here.
You don’t know until you know. Go see a 200k build and go see an RV. Better yet rent both and camp in each for 2 nights and then come back and say it’s not worth it or better than the RV 🤷🏻♂️
Please use a tripod when in “face mode” interview mode”… your camera man should know this. Stop trying to be “artsy” during static “interview mode”… when watching on an 80” screen the “jerky” motion of your vid is a huge turn off. Love your content but vids are hard to watch.
Nice rig, but this is truly not "van life". The average person can NOT afford a 220k campervan. This is glamping. People who buy this probably have a million dollar home, 2-3 cars, and lots of disposable income. Seriously, why do these van builders put unnecessary things like heated floors, in vans. Again, nice, but too out of touch with the average person.
In the community we don’t judge of how much you’ve spent on a rig. We all have a common goal to get outside and enjoy life. Some have bigger bank accounts than others but when we are out there we are all friends. If there wasn’t a market for 200k rigs than all these companies would be out of business, and yet the industry keeps getting larger by the day
Ok, what was boring about it. The education of how things are done? Or maybe I don’t “fluff” the video with a ton of fakeness to keep it aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Think about that

Complimenti per i contenuti sempre molto interessanti, e complimenti al ragazzo per il Van davvero molto bello, un saluto.
Now see? Im perfectly okay with this being controlled by a video game controller 😎

When i build my credit higher i will definitely visit their website and get my van with this amazing team and design ❤
Please do! We'll look forward to hearing from you.
What an amazing beast
That bike mount looks just like the Flairspace Bohm bike mount. Very functional!

What is the mattress brand? I couldn't make out what he said
Needs more places to sit
Have the bench seats been pull-tested and are they FMVSS-compliant?
For that question I’d email them and ask
I would like to know if there is a seat like the one here with a foot rest. And how comfortable are they?
I like the shower. How does the drain work?
I'm adding to my comment. I did some reading on the shower. I like that you could shower outside the back door or side door. I like the Murphy bed with that mattress. It's a good size.
Hi! Could you post a link for the cool 2nd row swivel seat? Thank you!
Contact Rossmonster and they can get it for you. Thanks
Where does one find that cool bench seat swivel?
Contact Rossmonster and they can get you one
What was the brand on the mattress? I could not hear it

What is the brand of monitoring sistem for water tank levels and all?
CZone
✌🤙 thx for sharing!!
Which passenger swivel seat choice can you give out link or brand thank you
I believe the front seats are factory
@@JarrodTocci i mean second row passager two people seat swivel
Why not use the kitchen faucet for the shower...
Because it’s a van worth more than 200k 🤷🏻♂️
Sweet van, but I fear if anyone wearing shorts is gonna get their legs pretty dinged up, the shower and lagoon mount base, 😅sharp edges.
Lol nah they are not sharp at all. Smooth edges
When rich people start camping lol
