never needed to have a shower indoors . a lot of headaches .. I have mine on my rear door swings out and all drainage is outside .. water heater provides instant heated water ... your not taking crazy long showers ...but they are hot ! your living in a van so it's a minimalist lifestyle..
@Kod I have my shower on my rear doors .. water heater as well.. I swing it out and have a nice hot shower and I have a bamboo platform to stand on because the ground is not your friend when wet.. also I use a portable cassette toilet and most of the time I **** in a poop bag and then throw it away... again having all these tanks underneath your van gives you less ground clearance and more maintenance... less is more.. otherwise might as well spend 120k on a custom RV.
I LOVE this design! I travel alone but I really don't want to have to change my bed into my desk and this way I could keep my workspace as is and just lower me bed down to sleep. Genius!
I agree about having a shower. There are a lot of places you can't stand naked outside the back of your van. Also, not practical when it's cold, LOL, brrr. I also don't like the idea of making a puddle outside the van. I love this Innovative design though
Love the refrigerator has a seperate freezer. The sink is amazing...with the faucet being high up with a pull down nozzle you can wash your hair. The bed is awesome. Great job.
I like the HappiJac Bed. A really great solution! I would make a tiny "bathroom" where there are the two seats. Then the van would be perfect for me personally.
Fantastic build!! We have two kids and I have been wanting to do a tri-bunk area where the fridge is here, however, there is not enough room in nearly any van to have that and the bed in back which would fit a 6'4" person! This configuration is amazing! I would just use grey and fresh water tanks and a pump for water and use under sink space for a compost toilet! This is incredible!
I love this build. Outstanding RV type vehicle. This a a much better option to the Promaster. More of these, please! Not complete though without a shower.
By the way, IMO, your Van build is one of the best I have seen so far. The only thing I would vhange would be the elimination of the rear bench storage so I could load a motorcyle betetween th bench seats. The motorcycle obviously could be unloaded and kept outside the Van when camping or W/E freeing up space to use the bench seats/dining area. But hey, I am truly interested in what the Happrjack Bed cost. And oh your Pro Master Van is not the extended version is it ? P.S.:The lack of a shower is kinda of a shame But then again, it would take up a lot of space and would not ever be the same as taking a long hot shower in a house. Besides one can always find a way to clean oneself like a Solar shower outside the van at a camp ground or such for a hot shower. And one can splurge every now and then for occasional use of a motel room for a long shower. Of course there is always the option of a sponge bath, haha
Thank you so much for the great comment! We get the HappiBed for around $3000-$5000 and we charge around $8000-$10,000 for installation, bed and framing. This van is a ProMaster 159 but something similar to this build could fit in a ProMaster 159 EXT
I think they assumed you would take the toilet out of the van at night and use a toilet tent outside. Still, if they put that toilet under the seats in front of the fridge it would be better.
I need to be able to sit up in bed, so I don't think this would work for me. Plus everything is particle board, so this build is probably really heavy. I would put all those storage doors on struts too. Holding them up when you want to get stuff out or put it in is kind of a hassle.
Material used in the build is lightweight maple and not particle board to lessen the weight of the interior of the build! Struts can definitely be added!
Yours is the only build that I have seen that has made a successful attempt at concealing the mechanism of the bed jacks. They look so fugly hanging out so kudos to your cabinetmakers for the great trimwork. Disappointed not to see air circulation accommodated for under the mattress with slats or holes routered into the plywood supporting the happijack mattress to prevent black mould ... given the mattress will be permanently down. Thoughts about why the omission ?
Hi Liz, thank you so much for the comment and compliment. There are air holes underneath the foam mattress of the happy jack. The wood directly under the mattress has the vent holes, there is an air gap for air movement and then the pine panels for under the HappiJac to give it a finished look.
Fantastic build. Can you please provide a bit of detail on the rear seats? I would like to do the same on my build. Are they seats from a Transit, and how did you install the rails for crash safety?
Thank you for your comment! You can absolutely do that but you save a lot more room and give yourself a bigger bed having it installed this way in a ProMaster!
This is a custom van build that we did for a client. They requested the toilet be in the place where it is located. We have not heard any complaints from them regarding the location!
Anybody checking the EMFs with the electrical hidden under beds? Seeing it and battery storage a lot (under beds) with van builds. Would suggest getting it away from sitting and sleeping areas.
The cost for that professional build is more than buying a descent van. It will depreciate in value faster than the van because people who have money to buy nice camper vans don't want a high mileage van.
The manufacturers suggests that the HappiJac is pressed to the ceiling while driving so it does not cause any issues. We have never experiences any issues.
Hi there, because this is a custom build price starts at $37,000 but goes up from there. For a build like this, you would see a price range of around $60-$70K with all the custom features.
What did the Happy Jack cost ? What is the length of the mattress (I am 6 foor tall) ? I plan on purchasing a extended Length Pro Master Van. I wanna be ablr to haul a motorcycle inside the van.
Watching your video is so much fun because it's good, attractive and engaging. Thank you. For a very enjoyable experience. You are so wonderful. Wishing you success and good health. Beautifully beautiful. I really like people like you. My good friend.()
Is that the Everchill 4.5cuft 12v fridge? I was told it doesn't have a door lock? Do you find it stays closed or is there some kind of lock? Do you like it? Great build! Thanks.
It doesn't have a lock but the door stays closed while driving. We no longer use this fridge because of compressor issues and have switched to the isotherm. However, it os still a great option!
I have just bought a promaster and determined to have a happyjac over the sofa set up. Any recommendations? Do I need to have a professional install it ? Thanks
There is an Outdoor Shower in the back and they mostly plan to stay in campgrounds. This is a Custom conversion so this client designed this build for their own specific wants and needs.
Adding in a wet bath can definitely be done in the ProMaster 159 Ext. In a ProMaster 159, like in the video, you would have to makes some changes to the layout in order to add one in.
Hi I’m getting ready to place my order and I have a 159 is it possible to give me an idea of how long this would take to complete and approximate cost?
Hi Bradley! This is a custom conversion and at this time we are booked out for a year for Customs! We do have set builds a sap me for the fall of you would like to get in sooner!

I just wish they make a hidden shower for this van build where the toilet is at. You can never go wrong having an indoor shower esp during cold days.
never needed to have a shower indoors . a lot of headaches .. I have mine on my rear door swings out and all drainage is outside .. water heater provides instant heated water ... your not taking crazy long showers ...but they are hot ! your living in a van so it's a minimalist lifestyle..
True, but I do like my privacy and comforts with a shower inside instead of having to shower in your swim suit each time.
@@Jessie20032 honestly I understand that need for some... I recommend for the true vanlifer a gym membership..

I would change the seating behind the cab to a shower, sink and toilet. Other that it's a beautiful build customized to what the buyer wanted.
Love the refrigerator has a seperate freezer. The sink is amazing...with the faucet being high up with a pull down nozzle you can wash your hair. The bed is awesome. Great job.
Thank you!
Love, love, love the bed design … actually the whole van design is just super … the bed, the seating… just what I want ..saving up my money now 🌹💫
Thank you so much for the amazing compliment!
I am constantly amazed at how much can be squeezed in to these small spaces!
Fantastic job! Well thought out, nice design and looks very livable!
I like the HappiJac Bed. A really great solution! I would make a tiny "bathroom" where there are the two seats. Then the van would be perfect for me personally.
We would agree! That is a great place for a wet bath!

You should turn those LED lights off when the bed is up they can start fires.
Great setup 💪🙌💎

Thank you! Our team is definitely doing a great job!
This build was awesome. Love the bed that comes down. Excellent
If I was going to purchase one this is the one I would want. Simply amazing
Yes a shower with a toilet would be awesome
Thank you so much!
Impressive build!
Vanture customs, ur hired! Lovely as always! and thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much! We are glad you like it!
Nice I'd put the fridge under one of the seats and get rid of cabinet above fridge, replace with small shower
I can't wait to get my conversion van 🌟🤝🏽🌟
We will be happy to help whenever you decide to come on board!
Hi! Nice design and beautiful cozy place, just one question : where's the shower? It's fine the toilet but I missed the space for taking a shower. 👍🏻
They have an outside shower out the back!
YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!! MY SEARCH IS OVER!
When did you actually install happijack? After the walls and windows and roof and everything is done? Or before anything is done?
Awesome van 🎉
You can’t use the toilet at night when it would be needed because of the happy jack
I think they assumed you would take the toilet out of the van at night and use a toilet tent outside. Still, if they put that toilet under the seats in front of the fridge it would be better.
love the bed storage compartment!!

Great idea!
Love it! I would have a shower where you have the chairs! Other than that! I love the build!😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

Glad to see this!
I noticed the Happy Jack is facing north and south, can it be installed east and west???

why doesn't is tour have more views? This is like the best design...
Nice work guys loving it

Id take 1 w/a skylight over the happyjack😁

Just wonder how you handle middle of the night trips to the loo:)
They probably take it out before bed.
This is a custom van build that we did for a client. They requested the toilet be in the place where it is located. We have not heard any complaints from them regarding the location!
Why must they turn the sink on every single time? We all understand that when a sink is turned on, water flows out of it.

Awesome. Love that wood.

Thanks
Because it's a very expensive feature I would definitly have a professional install it or at least help you!
Nice build! Is there a certain model of Happijac that you used? Did you have to modify it to get it to work?
Thank you! we used the standard model and no modifications necessary!
4 people in that space and no shower. You better enjoy B.O!

Love the hapijack system. Don't care for the water setup.

Love that this is set up for 4 people to ride and sleep in. Is the 3rd seat removable incase you are just riding with 2 people?

Such a beautiful house what's price this house
Why aren't there any ventilation holes in the board under the mattress?
Hi there, you cannot see in in the video but there are 9 vent holes under the plywood that the mattress sits on.
So if the bed is down can you use the toilet?
The Toilet is removable and can be placed anywhere in the van when the bed is lowered.
did you do anything so the happijac doesn't make rose noise
road
If you have the HappiJac sit all the way up while driving you should not experience any road noise!
What’s price on them beds?
How tall is the backspace? I’m 5’10” and wondering if I could stand.
About 61" from the bottom the HappiJac to the floor in the back. Around 70" in the rest of the conversion.
Did you show a cooker of some sort?
This client used a portable induction cooktop and air-fryer!
Can you made Video how to make bed?
