Great video. Living up in Alaska and getting ready to install a septic system I am always seeking ideas way ahead of time. I will add a clean out at this point in hopes if ever needed it will be much easier to do. However when we get 10 feet of snow here I am not worried even when to temp goes below -55
I have done it exactly this way in the past. If you have a long way to push the hose to reach the blockage, you can use electrical tape to fasten the hose to a heavy plumbers snake.

Before I watch your video I got a snake but I was told that didn’t work on ice it went only a few ft and dint move
