Making GRIP LEADS The easy way

How to make 6oz grip leads. This is the same process for all grip leads or plain leads, its an amazing way to save money it has saved me £100s. Please be careful and wear PPE when making leads and make sure the lead is dry, also try and be in a well ventilated area. There easy to make but please do it SAFELY. I didn't know I didn't know that! Always wondered how those breakaway sinkers are made! Easier than I expected. I'll have to get myself a mould now. Most of the leads I make are for deep drops, 40 and 60oz for fishing 3-500m. These will make a welcome change. I like how tidy they stash away without the wire sticking out. Thanks for the vid

Hi Dave like the video and it’s encouraged me to go buy a couple DCA moulds to make my own weights. I don’t know if you can advise the best STD 50mm loop wires to buy online as I have a problem ordering the ones with the small loop in bulk and when ordering they don’t give you the loop dimensions. I’ve ordered some already but the loop looks big it’s dimensions are 4.5mm inner and 8mm outer.Thanks
