I used these with the Team Catfish weight slides to make a th-cam.com/users/postUgkxdmsDj7fQXe77DC0l7P7ua8B3PiESUubM Carolina rig and they were perfect for the ponds I fish. I have also used them to make 3 way rigs and these work perfectly. Haven't had any issues with them snagging in rocks or in weeds yet.

where do you buy those molds??
Hi mate, back again, was making leads today with the Halfords yoke, not too bad , except not great when trying to hear up the moulds aswell. I just want to ask do you clean the lead before melting or just put it in and scrape off slag, is it a good idea to prep the lead or is it just wasting time? Cheers
Just melt and scrape the slag off the top mate that’s all I do

Attempted to melt my lead up the other day as I was going to have a good few hours doing them, I used a Halfords camping stove with a non-stick pan and it wouldn’t melt the lead at all, would this be because I need a cast iron pan with possibly a lid? I’ve got one on order so fingers crossed
Nah you just need to be patient when using a camping stove doesn’t get hot fast so you need to wait and only add small bits of lead at a time
@@fishtales9688 I did wait for around half hour with no luck, I’ve ordered a cast iron sauce pan with a lid so hopefully that’ll help

@@kimowen3805 no mate I have the double garage doors open with the wind blowing in. If you’re doing it with poor ventilation then I would advise on wearing a mask
