I just got the Olight Arkfeld Pro. LOVE it! The green laser is really bright, the UV is also strong, and the 5 levels of light & strobe are all I need. This light covers so many bases! 😮
My EDC is a SureFire Stiletto Pro but my favorite of this bunch is the Arkfeld Pro. I have cats and live in an area where scorpions are very common. It provides neutral white light, UV light for keeping an eye out for scorpions when taking the dogs on walks, and a laser for keeping the cats entertained all in one package. Would prefer USB C charging but since it’s not my main EDC light it’s not really an issue. I just plug it in in the kitchen and my wife or myself can both grab it as needed for any of its functions and my SF is always handy in my pocket.
Wow, you guys have scorpions on the footpath etc? Thought we owned the dangerous animals reputation in Australia haha. It's funny how you can have way more expensive lights but end up carrying around the most convenient one.
I think even compare to Nitecore EDC 25/27, Rovyvon E30 Pro is better for the brightness, battery durability, side lamp (so we can clip to our pocket and turn it on), IP rating, and almost all aspect. Except, EDC 25's deep carry pocket is better, deeper, and stronger.
The EDC 25 has also more candela (22000 vs 14500 for the E30 Pro), which means it concentrates light into a tighter hotspot, resulting in a much further throw over distance. It's also good for self defense since it blinds the attacker even more. If RovyVon can match the same amount of candella it'll beat Nitecore hands down
Im really digging the HD01. It’s odd that I buy a certain style light and don’t feel the need to buy others in that form to “upgrade” but I really don’t feel the draw to buy another flatlight. I’m really happy with the HD01.
They all have similar features. What I find different is the battery capacity, UV/AUX light functions. The Nitecore flat lights are also different as they have a focus on high output, tactical UIs.
Just got my Sofirn IF24 yesterday. I have to say it's just a cheaper version of the IF23. Feels much cheaper. I even got dirt on my reflector inside. Still can't change the brightness of the rgb leds.
the rovvyvon e30 sucks i have it and the oplight arkfield pro in my pocket i locked it and the battery died within a few days didn't even use it just had it sit in my pocket. i recommend the olight arkfield pro the rovvyvon is trash. for a tail button flat light i was looking at the nebo edge 2k but thats only cause i want a tail button for my firearm and i like the flat design if olight made a tailbutton olight arkfield pro i would buy it.
SureFire Stiletto Pro or Pro 2 is my EDC light as a concealed carry holder. Has a side button that starts low and ramps up as needed for basic EDC tasks and a tail button that goes straight to turbo as a momentary switch for CCW purposes. It’s not cheap, but neither is a pistol, red dot, regular ammo for training…
@@DarrenYeoYT @DarrenYeoYT lost the sofir in a data center somewhere was a good light but too big for edc in a pocket. Bought the trustfire x3 mini, been holding up well and I like the interface. I have the Olight. Broke the clip about half way past the screws to where it is just a small u hook. Work 1000x better and wont snag on anything like your seatbelt.
Well you turned that one into a win haha. The clip on my Warrior 3S snapped off as well around where the friction ring attaches to the clip. I was messing around with it using some pliers to make it fit on another light.
Yeah and the rotating switch makes if practical, even though there are many functions. I can't stand lights with too many features but only one button.

The Sofirn with replaceable cell for me. You can carry a couple extra cells and keep working as long as you need. 90 dollars for the Rovyvon, If the battery dies for any reason the flashlight is useless without being able to replace it. Great looking flashlight just not worth it with a sealed cell.

Nice! My fav is the RovyVon, that tac mode is super bright.
I have the Sofirn IF24 Pro and it's an awesome flashlight and great for camping. Replaceable battery is a must have.
The 23Pro is now out, think that's gonna be a better camping light due to the 21700 cell
@DarrenYeoYT Is it out? I thought it releases next week. That's what Sofirn told me.
@@mtbohanaI think some reviewers have the first models now. Not me though
@@DarrenYeoYT I can't wait to buy one.
The twist switch of the sofirn sells it plus replaceable battery. Ordered the pro 5000k version with buck driver
Agreed. Not being able to replace the battery is a huge no-go with any flashlight
Oh yeah, I didn't know the buck driver version was already out. They're sending me one to review.
@@DarrenYeoYT think it's labeled if24 pro rather than if24s

Jetbeam released the E26, Trustfire Mini X3 is also a solid option. This is a good year for flat lights!
Similar features to the Arkfield Pro :D
Trustfire is making gains for sure. One of the best cost/value brands out there

I like the additional aux lights which make it handy for other purposes. I don't think those Nitecore lights have them.

how about trustfire mini x3? is it worth the price?
Not sure. Haven't got that one. I did ask for a sample and no response. The Sofirn is the best value I reckon.

If the HD01 had a UV light too it would be the king
Only a matter of time before someone makes a light with all of these features in one. Figuring out the UI will be a nightmare though.

One feature the Arkfeld has that the others have yet to include is laser and white light at the same time. I find it very useful.

It looks like an excellent device. It's a pity it has a proprietary charging system though. USB-C would have made it ideal
The Angel eye 30 pro proximity mode can be deactivated.
Yep good pick-up, I didn't realise this until after I made the video. Makes it even better.

The strobe on that RovyVon E30 Pro packs a punch!
Surprisingly bright. I didn't expect that, and would definately carry this around, though I'm biased towards tube lights.
