New York City started installing charging stations in parking garages, what they didn’t count on was the amount of electricity multiple charges would draw….or the age of the buildings and how old electrical systems in the actually are. How about the draw was strong enough to blow the whole system out. Bam a huge tall building dark and it took a long time to get it back. The garages now charge for a slot to charge etc… crazy
Especially with all the idiots already out there that have trouble driving on the ground!! It would probably help unclog the roads, by lowering the population?
Can you stop dreaming of flying cars? Most of us cant even drive correctly on land. Giving us freedom to fly up down left right diagonally while adding in altitude just terrifies me.
This may not be true in other countries but in the US having a car isn't a sign of success it's a need because most public transportation isn't good enough to get around
The increased drag caused by this contraption on the roof will surely eat all the benefits ... and more. Except - perhaps - if you only drive a few kilometers/miles a day and live in an exceptionally sunny area.

"take it to the skys" - leading to mid-air collisions and traffic jams up there. That will cause debris to fall down from above. People's egos will still be functioning up there and "ain't nobody getting in front of ME" will still prevail. People are sometimes stupid. On a side note: what is the cargo capacity? People stop to shop on their way home from work. RE: the Go Sun: looks easy to steal. I would not deploy that at work unless the parking lot has a physical guard on duty.
This 7:06 would be nice for a little while, because there’s nothing to watch. Plus, it would decrease the aerodynamic efficiency of the plane, so they would charge really a lot for those seats. FYI: They often wash planes because a dirty plane is much less aerodynamic.
Can we stop with the air travel? There’s a reason becoming a pilot isn’t as simple as being a cop or a member of waste management. I had to study countless hours and practice realtime another gazillion hours just to get my single / double prop licenses. And don’t talk to me about a computer doing it, we can’t even get a Tesla to stay on the road without crashing. Now we’re going to unleash that in the sky where it’s certain death rather than a bump on the head?

I like the concept of Go Sun. I was thinking that though is a great alternative, it is also attractive for thiefs. I wished they thought about the possibility to add a GPS device in it. Like the equipment cost around $2k, which depending where you live, can be an expensive luxury. Overall, I like the concept (I was actually trying to engineer something like that for my power banks).
Absolutely worthless and no common sense used in producing the thing. Any wind is going to catch it and flip it up. That small area isn’t capable of charging the car enough to make a difference

And given its shape and placement such a dome is even less likely to get directly hit in the first place ... because physics.

The self healing polymer is profound. Is it compatible with tires and shoe soles in the future? The idea that a flat will fix itself is a riveting hope. Shoes I love might not get old that fast. It's so heartbreaking when the heel comes off.
So the trash bot just rams into the back of a car? Seems like it’s fine for a truck but what happens when it rams into the back of my Porsche, a few inches off the ground? Who’s paying the $20,000 bill?
