I love when the writers embrace Flash being absurdly overpowered. Like the idea that his villains only operate in his city because he lets them and knows he can stop them if they do anything serious
but at the same time the writers do him dirty. comics, cw, and the animated show but ofc they have reasons but they make him look so dumb
@@YkDestiny. Yeah it's tricky to write a character like him where literally nothing but his equal can stop him while also having to give him difficulty. I can only think of a handful of ideas that would be challenging to someone like him, so instead writers just go "Eh idk Deadshot shoots him in the leg, Captain Cold freezes the ground and Flash, who sees everything in slow motion, somehow didn't notice and slips". You'd need him to go up against exclusively God Tier threats to not look totally useless.
Yeah if Flash was really trying the police wouldnt be needed in Central City.
the problem with an overpowered character is always the fact that any lost makes them look beyond stupid, i mean think about it, with Flash's powers he could end most problems before they even come close to getting serious
One of the things about the Rogues to operate in flasher city is they have their own code of honor. They literally do their best not to kill innocent if you're like security or Army then you're in the line of fire and even then up against someone like Captain Cold you're probably find yourself Frozen but not necessarily killed
I think it's funny to think that Flash had already arrived hours before they started talking, but he was bored and became interested in the villains fawning over him.
It's more like truama counselling each others tale of others encounter with flash😅

I think we forget that Flash is a forensics guy. His tracking skills and ability to identify people must be legendary. There is no hiding from the Flash
Forensics is pseudoscience though so it only works within the confines of the universe itself
Complete with being able to think at the speeds required to run as fast as he does. He's probably gone over every detail before you even realize he saw you.
@@KertaDrakeoh yeah it's actually one of the things that DC does really well this one time in Stephanie brown batgirl she was dealing with a dude using a suit to do superspeed but she stopped his plan by disrupting it by a second because he had to pre-plan every action he did at superspeed because the suit didn't make him think faster.
Well the flash in this video is wally who isn't a forensics guy
You forgot that, not me. Barry that is.
My favourite interpretation is that the veteran villains realised what the rookie did, and were telling increasingly absurd stories as a way to reduce whatever Flash was thinking of doing to them outside the door.

E M O T I O N A L D A M A G E
How do you know you have seen a meme far too often?

*This* ☝️😂
What makes Flash so scary is that he actually cares about villains. He makes them think about what they've done, and makes himself truly the good guy, so they can't really even justify a grudge on him. At least Batman is someone you can focus on hating so you don't have to think about what a shitty person you are, he doesnt want to talk he just wants to beat your ass.
Depends on the situation, TBH. He doesn't talk with the likes of Joker because it just lets them further their mind games BS. But twoface? Clayface? Baby-Doll? He's talked to them at times. IIRC, he's also chatted with Ivy and Catwoman too, since he doesn't see them as a lost cause. But Joker, or Ras? Talking to them just gives them a chance to get in your head. Flash's rogues gallery is pretty much all at least partly sympathetic and not made up of people playing mind games.
Notice Flash didn't talk to Joker, he just got rid of him fast. Only time I've seen Flash 'talk' to Joker is when the punch-line is Flash is too dumb to fall for Joker's mind-games, or he legitimately finds the Joker's antics funny, usually to the detriment of Joker's plan, as he gets distracted clowning for a hero who will laugh at his gags instead of just punch him in the face. But I can't recall him ever trying to have a heart to heart like he does with the Trickster.
It's easy to call the villains monsters (and some of them legit are), but the sad reality is that at the end of the day a good chunk of the majority are just PEOPLE. Joker didn't really get much of a choice since he's literally insane and became that way by accident, and Two-face is also a bit nuts (and so on) but the vast majority of villains are just people that through one method or another gained power or wealth, and then CHOSE their lives of crime.
The fact that they chose to do evil also means that they have the potential to live a life of GOOD as well. Flash simply wants to give them that chance. I'm not sure if you've noticed this as you've lived but when you're kind to someone they might not listen to what you have to say or be willing to do you a favor, but if you're rude or outright mean they most definitely won't. Heck, they might even double-down and be even worse next time just to spite you. We see that from time to time with Batman's villains and with Superman's villains and the villains of other beat-em-up heroes. But with Flash, Spiderman, and Static sometimes villains really do clean up their act. Some go back to living 'normal' lives, and others join the ranks of the heroes.
And let's not forget what Bats did for Ace. He'll be there for a villain when needed.
Batman will fuck up the criminal leaders. The underlings? He will literally hire them and pay them well in a position in his company if they want, giving them an opportunity to support themselves without needing to be a criminal.
He has no patience for those who do crime just to do it. But those fucked in the socioeconomic system he will gladly help.
@@WorldWalker128 Main continuity Mr. Freeze is reformed, serving his time peacefully in Arkham, those villains that are sent near his cell are afraid of stepping out of line too as he has frozen people that broke Arkham's rules more than once. He has his own lab, and has solved/found cures for several "incurable" diseases while incarcerated there. Giving those cures to Batman who then uses Wayne's company to make and distribute it.
Main continuity Ivy no longer fights either. She has a place outside of Gotham that grows extinct plants for use in medicine.
Similarly Harley is an Anti-Hero and has recovered part of her original personality. SHE goes against the Joker as often as Batman.
Clay Face is a mercenary and contracts as a bodyguard most often and has even given Batman leads on what the League was up to outside of Gotham.
Mind you, DC hates allowing Batman's villains to grow so all of it gets retconned within a year by a new author that will listen to demands from on high to bring them back as a bad guy because we can't allow characters to grow.
Which is also why then never allow Dick and Cory to stay together and just keep them in this ongoing together/not together/together circle.
Marvel has it too, they broke up Peter's happy marriage due to the author and publisher hating MJ at the time of that whole fiasco.
The worst part is that he smiles while doing it all. At least with the Batman, you know he’s either mad. With the flash, the fact that he’s making wisecracks the whole time tells you that he isn’t even trying. He could kill someone without them even realizing it if he wasn’t such a nice guy
Yeah just like eobard thawne or zoom there are lot of evil speedster we can take example of and yeah even batman or red death that dude just killed every single criminal in his universe 💀
Red Death

Well yeah Thawne can destroy you in a dozen different ways on his worst day you could literally just wake up and be homeless on a street and you might feel like it was off but you wouldn't know. He could take everything away from you and you wouldn't even know it
I don't know who the artist is for this story, but they managed to make Flash look uncannily terrifying by just drawing him in his usual get up
And one key reason why Wally wants to talk to the villains he faces rather than whaling on them, is because what happened to him in Sanctuary. Savitar making him believe that he lost control of the Speed Force made him understand what it's like to be pursued, to be sent away.
He genuinely cares because he's been there before. He doesn't like giving out emotional damage, but it's a lot better than being stuck in traction.
Wally has been like that even before Heroes in Crisis. Even in the late 90s, he has been known to be friendly to his rogues. Hell, he even turned one into a hero (Hartley the Pied Piper)
I like how the guy, who's superpower is "being fast" is also the guy who takes his time talking to the villains, essentially going at their speed
I looked up how far away Gotham is from Central City and that is 933 kilometres, since Joker was flying, that would have taken him 62 minutes to get from Central City and back to Gotham City by flight and falling.
Who wouldn't be traumatised by an hour and two-minute-long landing like that?!

"Got me again flash!" And Trickster just raises his glass and sips 😂
Yeah, after asking him if he realized he was wearing the suit again. Flash cares about his villains and would much rather them get help and become a productive member of society than wind up locked up forever.

I love the idea that The Flash was there the entire time just listening to their stories about him. The line about Flash giving his villains a chance is a nice touch from the animated cartoon where he was talking to one of his villains at the bar and convinced him to hang up his suit.
If that's from the JLU one I'm thinking it is, it was more sympathetically reminding Trickster that he was off his meds again and then promising to play darts (the *soft* kind) with him later, before off-handedly remembering to tell him to turn himself in after he finishes his drink.
"Caught me again, Flash!"

They should’ve made the flash show where it’s easy to fight the villain in every episode. Where only the main villain of the season was giving him the works. But in the show every small time villain from each episode gave him a run for his money.
But the Flash is so underpowered in the TV Series, compared to, just about every other source.
But in the show he was just learning how to use his Powers. As time went on he got better.
@@Thurgosh_OGHis power fluctuated in a really bizarre way. The most obnoxious thing was him letting non speedsters run away from him.
I think Young Justice handled this better with the original Kid Flash. He's inexperienced and not nearly as fast as The Flash. He's mostly beaten in fights that feel relatively realistic for the power he is shown to have.
@@davidporter9553 He stops time or at least comes very close to in like the first episode. After that he's nerfed and makes some of the most stupidest decisions. There is no way you can say he was learning when he could stop a bullet but not catch the non-speedsters.
That's the big problem about the CW adaption's Flash. His personality is comic accurate, but the reason comic Flash is chill towards his villains and tries reasoning with them is because his insane reaction speed puts him in full control of the situation and doesn't get blindsided by a normal-speed criminal. It's why Madvocate hates how he zooms into the scene and stops to talk, because he might as well knock the bad guy out immediately if he's gonna be caught off guard so easily
Flash is basically a mix of Spiderman's optimism and desire to see the best in people and Daredevil's belief in redemption.

Joker was also shown to be scared of the Flash, back in Crisis of Infinite Earths when Barry sacrificed himself and one of the places he ended up was in the middle of a crime Joker was commiting with Batman and the second Robin on his tale. What scared Joker out of his mind more was he couldnt understand how Barry could still be in motion even though filled him with lead from that gimmick "BANG!" gun.
Basically joker meets a nice fast person who cannot get killed by his traps and always laughs or wise cracks.

@@newturtle3 That's How Terry McGuinness Batman defeated him in the end.

Bruce was serious and stoic 100% of time while wearing black and grey suit. Meanwhile Joker always talks and makes jokes while being dressed as a literal clown.
So he was fighting Terry as if he would fight Batman in his years. But Terry has a completely different personality - he's a wise-cracking quipper who is actually really close in that regard to Spiderman of all people. And it has thrown the Joker completely out of the loop because he can't handle someone who can actually troll him back.
@@BadassHater1 Yep. I'm sure Terry would get along quite well with both Peter & Miles. And all three of them would easily be Joker's worst nightmare. Flash is the best "Hero" because he is strong enough and skilled enough to overpower almost any villain without hurting or killing them and does it almost everytime before even anything actually bad happens. He's not just a deterrent like some powerhouse heroes to the villains. He actually tries to solve issues, rehabilitating them in the process preventing and revenge or hate cycle. Reason why Batman respects him so much.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who's bothered by what Flash did to Condiment King, although he could have gone back to give him food and water it would've been better to leave him in a police station instead.
Maybe he wanted to give him the first and last harsh lesson before he would do anything stupid, so he would never turn to crime ever again. And his journey back home would be some kind of path to redemption or similar, especially how he would have met other people in worse situations living their lives normally. Otherwise, Flash would just drop him at the police station and the crime cycle would continue.

@@stevenscott2136 I would guess he doesn't trust her enough to not get greedy. Can't imagine she wouldn't get immensely powerful playing in the Amazon for a while. Power lust to turn that onto civilization. As a whole, Ivy could be reformed though.
@@BuetifullPersun yes. Batman is a clown loving psychopath.
@@stevenscott2136 Giving Ivy access to all that ecosphere... Who knows what kind of toxin or super tree kaiju she'd create on her own?
Vs voice tripped me out so hard lmao
0:18 so it's canon Batman puts his criminals into Hospital
Am i the only that feels bad about condimint king being left in the dessert 😂
I see what you did there
He didn’t have to do him like that!😂
Yea, it is funny but man. This is so cruel. This dude just wanted to ketchup everything around
Right, and you know those condiments got hot and sticky....pause lol.
He is just a guy how throws letchup at people and then he just gets dragged to the desert
This was fun to listen to both male and female V converse with each other!
I thought I recognized those voices! was driving me crazy trying to remember where they were from.
Yeahhh I was surprised when I heard female V given that’s whom I played as
Pretty sure vics also in here too
@@pandaasx now they just need Johnny
Legit just was playing phantom Liberty and this was the first vid on my shorts list I thought I entered the matrix
Great voice acting, very enjoyable!
"Hey guys, mind if we have a little chat?" Last words before flash kills them
Was totally expecting flash to just suddenly be sitting next to them asking for more stories
Are they giving the flash the respect he deserves? No... unbelievable
This video is a good explanation to why batman fears the league going evil.
Even if they don't understand counter measures are necessary
Villain finds one of there own robbed a Bank in central city: All of the other villains " chuckles I'm in danger".
now this is another "hey, its me! Goku." moment
To be fair this is a man that can go toe to toe with kriptonians, at least as long as he can keep moving, and has on multiple occasions been the last Main line JL member standing. People often see his kind jovial nature and overlook the fact he can literally out run reality
One of my co-worker's dad is a police office in Madison Heights (Michigan). He told me that when pulling over highschool kids, who broke a traffic law, that if you were willing to sit through a 15 minute lecture about what you did wrong and why you should never do it that he'd let you off with a warning.
A lot of kids got a lecture.
Imagine this being voiced by Wentworth Miller: "The Flash is the worst. He will not just stop you. He will talk to you. Give you a chance. And the worst part is ... he means it!"
I remember learning about some of the Flashes abilities for the first time, after just knowing him as just a speedster for so long. And I was shocked. He is extremely powerful.
"It was me Barry!"
from a science stand point if you could harness infinite velocity like that, you would be able to do a lot of things. i’m not surprised even given the fact it’s all fiction
Wait till you hear about plastic man and any superhero that can stretch or morph.
P much same energy as flash. No surprise most love to crack jokes since they're so powerful it's all a game to them.
Just a speedster? Speed is the most op power there is.
Mordru: Steal a lollipop
Flash: So you have choosen PTSD
Flash be like: "I'm not angry ... Just disapointed"
It's a testament to how confident and disrespectful reverse flash is to the flash, considering that everyone else fears the flash.
Bro has the same abilities as the flash, and uses it as a way to hate on flash for everyone who can't say shit to the flash without getting insta knocked.
Also shows how little amount of fucks reverse flash can give
It's quite the opposite, Reverse Flash cares a lot about the Flash and has dedicated his entire life to ruining the Flash's life.
Eobard isn't really "hate" barry. He's actually a big fan of him.
He just had it twisted and become the villain for Barry.
Your comment just make me respecting Reverse Flash ...
@@ReigoVassallike an obsessive fan tbh, wanting to be in every part of your idol's life, scary.
That’s like praising your favorite athlete only to find out, they are your number one competitor
i like to think that the reason why the flash took so long was because he wanted to be the one to deliver pizza, so he could join the villains
This is why I absolutely love the Flash, one of the coolest super heroes ever. Imagine that you think you're all powerful and you're jumping dimensions and there he is you literally cannot escape even at the end of all things there he is to talk to you about your actions lol Flash is just different lol
Oh no... Not the talk!
Flash have mercy you monster!
Yo and the lightskin stare at the end killed me😂😂😂
You pushed the Superman button
The Flash: Ya shouldn’t have done that! 😏
Flash in my opinion should be the strongest hero in justice league
But the comics make him so weak for some reason
Imagine being by literally anything moving at the speed of light. It could be a pebble.
plastic man is the strongest hero in justice league and maybe martian manhunter
Because if they had him at full power all the time the story would be over within a page.
@@misterboxhead3045plastic is not the strongest, superman could just melt him with his heat vision, besides plastic man has no way of killing supes, he cant get into his body the way he did with flash because if the electromagnetic field in his body,
He could be the deadliest assassin if they let him be, Superman and Martian Manhunter are very fast and strong but the flash is faster than all of them. His infinite mass punch or just vibrating through someone and dissolving their body into dispersed matter could easily kill the greatest heroes and villains in a fraction of a second. He's nice, but that's a courtesy. Flash could be an unkillable menace if he chose to, he could even do the Dr. Strange/Kang the conqueror thing where multiple different versions of him from the time stream keep coming back to kill you if you find a way to kill him, that's literally what Reverse Flash does.
So good man, please keep making more videos, your channel deserves the subs
Thank you! Another video is coming tonight!
1:00 Is that V's(Cyberpunk) voice actor?
"I've raced you before, Barry. I've even won some of those races."
"Those were for charity, Clark."
Didn't expect to hear V's Voice actor from cyberpunk 2077 in the video. Took me a minute to realize why his voice sounds so familiar. Amazing video! Keep it up.
Him asking to talk after the villain just said its the worst thing made this better😂
“Do you know there’s a universe were Batman actually fused with the flash, and became a vigilante called red death”
Everyone at that table - “…………. What”
He rides around on a red metal horze, has a family, and is a chairman of a villain organization
The only thing worse than getting all of your bones broken and getting thrown in prison is “I’m not mad, I’m just disappointed”
If even Joker and Mordru don’t want no smoke with Central City, then you need to put your supervillain career in Gotham, there you got a better chance.
People don't really get that when you can move at that speed, nothing can stop you. Not even Superman. Very weird to me that people never grasp the power that speeders possess.
You're faster than a slab of steel. Infinitely so. Can you beat it by punching it?
@@Yonkage-ik5qb You are infinity TIMES as fast, you are not infinitely faster. If you WERE, then you would definitely be able to beat it, you just might not have an arm afterwards:D
reminds me of a strange comic, where someone, maybe the Joker (it didn't say), had apparently hypnotized everyone in the JLA but Batman, and they were all after him.
Batman put on a fancy suit of powered armor full of gadgets he had made just in case of such a situation.
when Flash came at him, the armor automatically calculated where he would be and sprayed Oil in the ground in front of him.
and Batman thinks to himself, "nearly HALF of the total cost of this suit went into designing a computer that could do the calculations fast enough to pull that off."
That's not exactly correct. At the speeds that Flash can get to, the atmosphere around him would ignite. If he somehow avoided that, even then atoms would punch holes through him. The only way for the Flash to survive would be if the Speed Force created an absolute vacuum bubble around him, at which point, he'd suffocate.
@@FinGeek4now Then it's a good thing the Speedforce is literally reality-warping in canon, because otherwise it wouldn't work.
Someone needs to make a horror film from their perspectives
A red blurry fast blob that takes you out before you have time to react. Where have i heard that before?
I read a fanfic once where someone joked that if Flash really hates you, he doesn't kill you, he goes back in time and ensures you were never born.
Reverse Flash?
I love the fact that TH-cam recommended a video right after this one, named: "Why everyone loves The Flash"
I think people underestimate how OP superspeed is. Thats probably because most writers portray them as weaker than they should be.
Theyre still human just faster. A bullet can still hit you hard or break your leg if you slip and fall.
Its how reverse flash dies one time with an alt universe batman shooting him.
@@newturtle3 The flash has been proven to think so fast it just doesn't matter. So what if he trips and falls? He has super speed regenration too and he literally could get up and dodge the bullet before it travels a centimeter.
Honestly leaving Condiment King of all people in the middle of the desert seems oddly cruel for the Flash. At the most he put the Joker back in Arkham.
I wonder how much of this was the occasional spinning a yarn that often happens to stories like that.
Villains: "Maybe we can get out before-"
Flash: "BEFORE? LOL"
Nice to have some positive flash content that does him justice.
Force = Mass x Acceleration
You don't have to be big to hit hard.
For example:
If the mass is say 4 (for simplicity) and the acceleration is 1. The force is equal to 4.
And if the mass is 1 with the acceleration of 4 the force is also equal to 4.
You don't just have to be a big tough strong guy to hit somebody hard
In the 90s, there was an episode of Batman TAS that was similar to this.
Bunch of baddies playing cards and talking about the Bat, until they discover the Bat has similarly been tipped off about their little meeting.
oh this was fun. Gotta love how chill Flash is about stuff, he's just a genuinely good guy.
2:41 Insert SpongeBob YOU WHAT?!?! Sound effect
-You can thank me later 😂
Flash is such a dude that he’s able to talk to his villains, they have an understanding the rogues will not hurt civilians, at least in most Continuity. Superman is such a massive hero that doesn’t just save Metropolis he saves the entire world, so he’s constantly moving from place to place even more than the flash even though he’s not as fast superman can hear everything all the time so he knows were danger is so he will never sits and talks with villains like the flash does. Central city is just that place.
0:39 "kid" while it's a full grown man with grey hair and a gray beard
"kid" probably relating to experience instead of age. He's likely an inexperienced villain if he robbed central city.
Scariest part is, Flash can kill you without you realizing it. That's how powerful he is.
Honestly there's something horrifying about a hero who won't beat your ass but will make you question your motives and make you feel bad
this is seriously well done haha
I really loved the portrayal of Flash in JL & JLU. Love me some Wally West!
personally I think what makes speedsters scary is not just how fast they can move but how they can move faster than you can react, *at different speeds* faster than you can react. How do you predict that?
And think too.
Its why flash always has witty comebacks
Flash’s greatest power is his uncanny ability to pull off the “I’m not mad, I’m just disappointed.” That shit always hits hard.
