The Flash could already break the very definition of "speed" by surpassing instantaneous teleportation. Nevermind the fact he perceives events in less than an attosecond which, is the smallest measurement of time currently known. Now, he can just leave and return to the narrative of his omniverse at any point in relative space time on a whim, and this is just scratching the surface of this new ability. I wasn’t really into flash before because I thought he was too powerful to have any problems. But now I realise that even he is overpowered he can still be interesting. Wally then speeds up and leaves him in the dust and catches up with hunter lol. Barry is still crazy fast but it’s funny that he just ignored that part of flash war
For me comics, and good sci fi, are at their best when they explore weird concepts and consequences of abilities/aspects of reality, for sure. Wally is a good nexus for that. Their interactions with Supes in all storylines are some of my fave moments.

The stillness power is actually really unique and well-executed. The flash tends to worry so much about moving super fast… but remaining so incredibly still that you phase out of material life is something else entirely. The flash is DEFINITELY cracked, but Wally West in particular is a literal speed god

All users of the Speed Force have something called immeasurable speed. They are so fast that time has no jurisdiction over them. It's not just faster than light, it's so fast that any finite speed is still to them hell, infinite speed is still to them which is moving an infinite distance in a finite time or faster than an instant. There's then an even higher speed called irrelevant speed where someone is faster than dimensions but I don't think any flash is at that level.

What confused me since I was a kid was how flash runs when there’s no surface for him to run on Like if you chuck him in the middle of the vacuum of space isn’t he just donezo?
I think the speed force exists outside of time and space anyway, so hypothetically he can run on anything., even if theres no matter, he can create footholds via the speed force. But if he runs faster than the speed force I’m not sure what the explanation is. Maybe dark matter or anti matter. But with his new power he exists outside of normal particles anyway, that’s why he’s able to stay still while the earth moves
The writers probably tried to use the concept of time crystal for this new power. While an ordinary crystal is periodic (has a repeating structure) in space, a time crystal has a repeating structure in time, giving the illusion of movement while staying still.
- walking into a comic panel before the panel in which he exited out isnt even in page - break the story details, able to change even the book quality, the paper is intentionally made to be yellow old - run to the next 11 panels - be in literally EVERY panel of a comic - materialize the speedforce as a pensil just by vibrating(the only one I made that doesn't sound logical) - run so fast even the movie quality is decreasing - run so fast even the movie's fps is decreasing - run so fast the projector's flickering - able to vibrate to the next 10 pages - able to run to a location when there is no panel seen of him running even tho he is in every panel in that time between the location and the starting panel - etc. I can go on for how much powers I can think of for him
Is it just me, or does things get boring when a hero just gets absolutely indescribable insane powers. I think that once it gets to the point of “INFINITE SPEED” or “ABLE TO DESTROY THE MULTIVERSE WITH A SNAP” you just hit a ceiling. I mean, just look at this video, where he is faster than Death, Light, Time, Space, etc. Is it just me?
Don't forget the time Barry ran so fast that he put motion and all unmeasurable measurements of time itself into existence throughout the DC and even Marvel Omniverse, before time could even exist. And that was with Barry trying to stop himself the entire time. For context, the Speed Force and the Forever Force would be paper in the wind caused by a jet passing by. Except (As explained by Max Mercury as part of his origins) he wasn't just written to be the source of all motion itself, but to legitimately be all motion period. Meaning Wally's speed is inevitably just a by product of Barry accidentally giving him a push at Barry's his slowest at the time. Barry Allen is basically responsible for the entire creation of Doctor Manhattan, just as much as Speed Force Sella Allen. I'd be weird for DM to start referring to Barry as "Papa" tough. every time i hear about wally's feats in the comics, I just think about how much he was nerfed in young justice.
All users of the Speed Force have something called immeasurable speed. They are so fast that time has no jurisdiction over them. It's not just faster than light, it's so fast that any finite speed is still to them hell, infinite speed is still to them which is moving an infinite distance in a finite time or faster than an instant. There's then an even higher speed called irrelevant speed where someone is faster than dimensions but I don't think any flash is at that level.

But with his new power he exists outside of normal particles anyway, that’s why he’s able to stay still while the earth moves

The writers probably tried to use the concept of time crystal for this new power. While an ordinary crystal is periodic (has a repeating structure) in space, a time crystal has a repeating structure in time, giving the illusion of movement while staying still.

Except (As explained by Max Mercury as part of his origins) he wasn't just written to be the source of all motion itself, but to legitimately be all motion period.
