- I got this chain drive now ready... Havent really test it out yet but i believe it is more rigid... And just for everybody that are doubting i do know that it is better to keep the cuts light with this thing so the lathe transmission doesnt take hit. It is just mostly that i can spin bigger pieces in the lathe

That lathe was built in Spain under license by “ Amutio “ ,Valencia . They are considered here in Spain one of the best centre lathes ever ! Robust and precise; “ old iron “ . We have one in our workshop and it’s lovely to work with .
Your set up looks very professional indeed and I imagine there’s no problem turning even bigger diameters due to the bed width and rigidity.

@@user-md2mr7gx4m i think there a lots of work opportunities in finland for cnc machinists but this kind of work that im doing here wich is manual machining is starting to be very rare here in Finland. My work is mostly repairing stuff that i would like to think are a step harder than many companies would like to do and usually no room for error kind of work. My facilities are really not suitable for more workers than only me so there is not really a job offering for my part and like i said earlier here in Finland most job opportunities for machinists are for cnc machinists. I hope this answers some of your questions

How big is centrehole trough?
It is 52mm in lathe and 75mm in that big swing attachment but with that it is about 500mm deep and then there is m30 thread for pull bar so i can pull heavy stuff towards the chuck if needed
