Nice. I have a manual 958 and like your channel. It’s not a matter of if but when they all go if they rust. And winter and salt brine are the worst. I’m spoiled with lift access but it’s still super tight in there on those pipes. Good Job.
Told today that my flex pipes are gone. Mechanic showed me and sure enough cracked and noisy. Can you share cost of parts and cost of labour? Thanks…liking your vids!
You could do the same thing if you needed new cats too. If you needed both though you might be better off just getting replacement cats the company in canada that makes them sells them as complete replacements. It might be cheaper at that point. Lots of fab work to get all those crazy bends right. Hows that now 4 post lift working out?

Kevin, I have had the same problem as yours with my '14 V6 Cayenne and had a shop do a similar welding job to fix. I had both banks break and even developed a crack in the cat converter all was rewelded and shielded. How long has your job held up? Do you still drive the Cayenne? I am terrified of having to fix this again as it ran me about 22 labor hours in cost.

How's many hours of labor did they quote? I'm getting quotes of 12 hours at $150/hour just to remove and replace the downpipe/cats.

How much did the job cost?
