    bloody clever these RRP guys eh? i've had one for about a year (not the bolt on) and it's brilliant. i don't bother taking it off in the summer, it's really good. the new eeb coming in spring will get the bolt on version.

    Just got the new bolt on mudguard,looks good,I cleaned out the holes for the bolts,as I tightened them one snapped as there are rubbish,far to small for the job,now I have a snapped bolt which I don't think I can get out 😕😕😔😔

      That sucks sorry to hear that 🙁 I do wish the forks had larger treads so stronger bolts could be used.

    I bought it because it looks cheap and works great and is also durable. Just what something like this should be like.

    Hey I’ve got 2021 fox 36 with a 42mm offset (saw somewhere that u need a 44mm offset for some reason) and was wondering if it would still fit, would greatly appreciate if somewhere can clear it up for me

    • @jedmtb
      @jedmtb  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I can’t see why it shouldn’t fit, as the offset is at the top of the fork near the steerer tube, I don’t have a 42mm to 100% confirm but I’ve used one with a 37mm offset without issues.

  • @steveedwards5280

    Have you let the air out of the fork and checked the clearance at full compression? I've found that on some boost forks, the crown is below the arch at full compression which would cause a clash with the guard.

    • @jedmtb

    • @jedmtb
      @jedmtb  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@tristans432 The travel is determined by the linkage on your bike, shocks come in different stroke lengths, the one you asked about being 70mm, most bikes will only work correctly with the shock size they came with because it can cause clearance issues.
