For the step up you should dig a drainage trench to let out the water and maybe add a layer of different dirt that would pack and set better for full speed
I was so looking forward to fitting the bolt on to my new Vitus Nucleus 27.5'' but now I cannot use it, as there is simply not enough tire clearance. WTB Vigilante 2.3'' front tire. My Fork is the Suntour XCR 32 Air.
@@tone1822 Yes. I was disappointed to find that it wouldn't fit. I put on a really thin and light one then, just to help keep mud and grit away from the forks. I also use a mud-catcher on the downtube. Really shocked with the lack of clearance between tire and fork.
Had to just order one from a uk based shop shipping doesnt take long! Here's a link to one: RRP Unisex's Proguard Bolt-On Mudguard, Black, Mini a.co/d/iVuKJvl
@@DownhillJakefox is the more premium option and is marginally better in how it rides, slightly better quality and marginally better performance. Rockshox forks and rear shocks are reallt good as well, they are cheaper but they offer very good performance for their price and is very good quality, barely worse than fox, u cant go wrong with rockshox or fox either way, if money is no object go fox, if u wanna go just 1 step down rockshox is another option(bear in mind rockshox is in no way a "budget" shock and its still one of the better shocks, you cant compare it to shitty alibaba ones)
Damn, this mudguard review introduced me to this sleeper channel! Sick course, great camera angle, and of course great rider!
Wow thanks so much!
I´ve got that bolt on rrp mudguard too and my dad got it as well. No more scratched forks from zipties+mud ever since. Thats the best thing out there
It really is awesome!
Do you have the standard or the mini sized fender?
One of your best video so far!
Definitely!!!!
Thank you!
Your trail system is quite extensive. Didn't catch that from watching the other build videos
id like to see a video of all your trails. that drop stepup stepup was sick.
I should do this!
New stuff looks fun!

Great idea!

Will both the standard and mini version be compatible with the bike hanging in the Steadyrack MTB rack?
Very good question, I only have the mini so I can't say about the standard, but the mini works!
Thank You! 🙌🏼
hi, I just wanted to ask if the pro guard is flexible, if a slightly larger branch falls under the wheel it won't tear it
It's slightly flexible but I wouldn't worry at all about it breaking honestly it feels very robust 👌
Does it work on reverse arch forks?
I don't think so, I can't say for certain.
You could make the strips color to match the bike
my mans has made like a 4 mile trail system in a few episodes, but it takes 20 episodes for other youtubers to make a 5 jump .25 mile trail 😂💀
this guys got the machines though the others are more hand done
Hey just wondering was this the mini or the standard version?
@@raid3rraptorzz434 this was the mini
@ thank you I’m planning to buy one soon
Cannot find a US seller

Is this the standard or mini
It is the mini
Legend
What suspension brand do u prefer?
I would definitely say fox. Haven't ridden any of the new rock shocks stuff so don't know how it is!
