திருச்சியில Janat hospital ல இருந்து Shans hotel போற வழியில ஒரு சின்ன Coffee கடை இருக்கு இந்த கடைல Coffee குடிக்கிற மாதிரி இருக்கு
காரைக்குடியில செக்காலை Bakery கிட்ட ஒரு கடை இருக்கு இங்கேயும் பரவாயில்ல.
எங்க போனாலும் பூரி தான் கேட்பீங்களோ. திருச்சியில் ஒப்பல்லாவிலும் பூரி சாப்பிட்டதை பார்த்தேன்
Very impressive video of 90+ year old Gnanam Coffee shop in Kumbakonam. The Ayyanarkovil pakoda stall was also giving good description of the business done by Krishnamoorthy and the lady. By the way during my early career days when I was at Pondicherry, many small hotels used to sell this POTTALAM PAKODA. That was in 1967. Cost of a packet was 25 paise. I also saw this pottalam pakoda in Cuddalore and Chidambaram. I do not know if they are still being made and sold in those towns.

Wow all celebrities and politicians have visited this heritage eatery . Simplicity of the meal or a person is a true hallmark. That’s a massive size of the Roast Dosa . I love the way savour your meals ; a true foodie 😀 Even I love to have the Chutney and Sambhar poured over my Dosa or Idli ( a different experience) 😋😋 Thanks a bunch for presenting this Vlog of this historic eatery 🙏 Nothing to beat a cup of hot filter coffee after a nice South Indian meals .
