I was 12 when this was released and was at secondary school. This was played on the radio a lot. At 12 I was a painfully shy, awkward young lad with lots of different emotions and feelings. Confused about a lot of things, struggling to fit in...not much has changed in 33 years!
Before i was born but I'm nostalgic for it
14 yrs old at secondary school and a Mac fan back then thanks to an older brother. This entire album takes me back to the carefree days of the summer of 1988. Sunny days, warm nights, early girlfriends and warm kisses.
I went decades and after, what was the song? I tried to find out but finally rediscovered it... so glad... mystery song solved!

I love all genres of music. Fleetwood is so good you don't know you know all their songs. It's that simple. They don't play incredibly hard music but the chorus and hook in almost every song is so dynamite they turn out hitters.

The thing that makes this special is not Stevie Nicks, but the singer and songwriter of this song, Christine McVie. I feel like she doesn't get enough credit for her contributions. In 2019 I took my mum to see them in Dublin as she always loved them and she thought we were just going for a meal and going home after some shopping. Little did she know I had two tickets and a hotel pre booked 2 months before. She was all ready to go home until I showed her the two tickets. Surprising your parents is a unforgettable feeling.
