@@LaPetite510 I grew up in small town WV. The only R-B music we got was a few songs on the local radio and once a week on public radio. So I listened to artist like Fleetwood Mac, Van Halen, and Huey Lewis. But you know you got the odd looks from the people who didn't care for "white music."
My mom used to play this song in her convertible back in the late 80s with me and my sisters in the back Seat. I would give everything I own to take one more ride in that convertible with my momma ❤
Everyone coming here from the Chevy commercial: Fleetwood Mac is incredibly talented and all of their hits are just as good. The thing that makes this special is not Stevie Nicks, but the singer and songwriter of this song, Christine McVie. I feel like she doesn't get enough credit for her contributions. Amazing voice and song.
The thing that made Fleetwood Mac so awesome was they were all such gifted songwriters, with different strengths, that somehow still was somehow cohesive overall. Wholeheartedly agree that Christine McVie is so underrated.

Since I found it here on youtube, its gone straight into my playlist and I've listened to it every single day. Its truly a great song and a masterful work of art.
I agree! I love just about everything they ever did, but I feel like this song gets overshadowed and forgotten sometimes over some of their bigger hits. But it's still a fantastic, beautiful song.
RIP Christine and to a true legendary voice for this amazing band. Tears are flowing hearing this beautiful song :( God rest your soul Christine and thanks for all this wonderful music you created.
This is one of their best songs because you don't hear it all the time on classic rock radio. A simple hook with her mysterious, wonderful voice breathing life into it. What a great talent Christine McVie was she will be missed.
I miss you, Rani. You loved this song and I've been avoiding listening to it because it makes me think of you. But here I am, today, and I wanted to listen to it. You deserved so much better in life. Wherever you are, I hope you have the love and comfort you always wanted and more than earned.
In 2019 I took my mum to see them in Dublin as she always loved them and she thought we were just going for a meal and going home after some shopping. Little did she know I had two tickets and a hotel pre booked 2 months before. She was all ready to go home until I showed her the two tickets. Surprising your parents is a unforgettable feeling.
I’m so Blessed I’ve been a fan and going to their concerts ( and then Stevie’s of course ) since 1975. I’ve also seen Lindsey perform solo a number of times before he had his cardiovascular event. I was sitting stage right in the pit , and he gave me one of his PICS… Seeing this band performing was nothing short of magical , mystical , otherworldly experience.. I’m so glad I did !
I love this song very much... I can't stop listening to it... i have been listening to this song over and over since yesterday... when i listen to songs like this... my late dad comes to my mind and i start crying... he passed away last year... my dad loved english songs... he was my inspiration to listen to english songs... i still remember when i was in my 2nd grade in 1983/84 my dad listens to late night fm radio around 11 pm that plays some english songs... that was when i heard stevie wonder's part time lover... and michael jackson's beat it... i remember when i listen to "beat it" i just wake up from my bed and dance for a while and then lie down again... since then i became very crazy for english songs... i miss my dad so much...
My Dad died back in 2000 I still cry sometimes when I think about him. This past year I had an episode in my yard. It turned out to be blood clots in my lungs I passed out and saw the bright light. I was not in my body anymore Ok its time to talk to God. No I came back to this body I feel so much better now about my Dad. He is not in pain anymore from the cancer in his brain. It was so peaceful.

I love Fleetwood Mac and other oldies since I was young. Everywhere and Tusk especially. I’m proud to be a fan, especially since everyone around my age would rather listen to mumble rap. These songs are masterpieces which the young generation are missing out on.

This band is so ingenious and so is this song. I can hardly believe that anyone should be able to compose such a masterpiece. I immediately bought the LP when Tango in the Night came out. Such brilliancy is not happening any longer these days.
I heard this song on a commercial also. So here I am 67 years old and found it again. So what do you think I'm listening to right now? Good songs never go away, just get tucked away into everybody's own time machine.
Utterly and completely heartbroken to hear of Christine's passing. She was the heartbeat of Fleetwood Mac and so underrated and under credited for her contributions. Feels like losing a family member.

This song and Little Lies always gives me chills listening to Christine's vocals...I will treasure the gift she has left with us until my end. RIP and prayers to all close to her everywhere.🙏❤️🩹
Don't know why I'm just now falling in love with the music from my childhood. Heard this song a million times, and all of a sudden, it sounds amazing and brand new.
I’m so happy I was raised on music like this. Never even knew being 4-5 years old that the music I was listening to was considered “old”, I just loved it and would blare the CD’s and or tapes in my parents old stereo system. I hope my kids will have a love for it growing up as well.
Make sure you play it like crazy to drown out some of the shit they hear now! I’m 25 and play Fleetwood Mac along with the best of the 60’s-80’s CONSTANTLY to make sure my 5 year old knows what the past had to offer.
REAL MUSIC that never gets old! Back in the days when we could actually understand what they're saying, the harmony wasn't enhanced nor instruments. Pure talent ♥️
The genius of Christine McVie!! Many of her songs of love bring tears to my eyes!! Since she became a permanent member of Fleetwood Mac, she's managed to help keep the group vital through the years!!

Music has such power, can inspire and invoke such emotions. To the gentleman who lost his wife, may the memories that come from this song give you comfort

@Raylan Givens Amen!!!
I didn't know Fleetwood Mac did this song. I heard this song in a store 1 time. And it was long long long long long long time ago.
Yup, written by Christine McVie
This is one of those RARE songs I can listen to 10 or more times in succession without getting tired of it. Perfection!
True. Love this song!
My mom used to play this song in her convertible back in the late 80s with me and my sisters in the back Seat. I would give everything I own to take one more ride in that convertible with my momma ❤
That was nice xx
Creo que tuviste la mejor mamá del mundo!
Aww:) That brought a tear to my eyes
I found your comment impactful. I still have my mum but this helps me to appreciate her all the more. Thank you.
Got me with this one. 🥺
You're right, what is better than Tell Me Lies I guess Little Lies
The thing that made Fleetwood Mac so awesome was they were all such gifted songwriters, with different strengths, that somehow still was somehow cohesive overall. Wholeheartedly agree that Christine McVie is so underrated.
You are right Christine McVie is always overlooked and underrated what a performer in Concert Fleetwood Mac is also amazing!
Yay for Chevrolet, the most famous car in the USA 🇺🇸 🙌
Yep that Chevy commercial Brings me right here 🇹🇹🇹🇹💯👌🏿
This song is timeless! Everybody loves a good story and the message reaches our ancestoral roots.
I love being a hopeless romantic who listen to Fleetwood Mac while doing fictional scenarios like this in my head, so magical ✨️

Beautiful song but the live Version of 1997 surpasses this one in studio in my opinion

Wether you’re an oldster like me who’s been listening to Fleetwood Mac for 40 years, or a kid who just heard this on a car commercial…you’re listening to a great song from one of the greatest bands of all time.
Well said.
Ya music today just doesn’t hit like the music back in the day!

Since I found it here on youtube, its gone straight into my playlist and I've listened to it every single day. Its truly a great song and a masterful work of art.
Hands Down one of the best songs ever written by this Band !!!
I agree! I love just about everything they ever did, but I feel like this song gets overshadowed and forgotten sometimes over some of their bigger hits. But it's still a fantastic, beautiful song.
Agreed!!!!
Gypsy is pretty great too

RIP Christine and to a true legendary voice for this amazing band. Tears are flowing hearing this beautiful song :( God rest your soul Christine and thanks for all this wonderful music you created.
This is one of their best songs because you don't hear it all the time on classic rock radio. A simple hook with her mysterious, wonderful voice breathing life into it. What a great talent Christine McVie was she will be missed.
It gives me chills!! This is definitely a song you can't sit still on
I miss you, Rani.
Your a legend
That’s amazing... 🥰
god bless you!

Yes but was here yesterday as well 😓
I’m so Blessed I’ve been a fan and going to their concerts ( and then Stevie’s of course ) since 1975.
My Dad died back in 2000
I still cry sometimes when I think about him.
This past year I had an episode in my yard. It turned out to be blood clots in my lungs
I passed out and saw the bright light. I was not in my body anymore
Ok its time to talk to God. No I came back to this body
I feel so much better now about my Dad. He is not in pain anymore from the cancer in
his brain. It was so peaceful.
@@michaelstuhlman Oh no... Glad to hear that you are okay now... I'm really sorry for your loss... I can feel the pain... Even I also feel the same way that my dad is not in pain anymore... because he suffered a lot for nearly 2 months before he died...
My condolences to your Dad and God bless him and hope he in a better place. Have a nice night
I just read this and i can definitely relate to your story. The very same happened to me in March 11th this year and I also saw the bright light I have blood clots too it was like a electric shock throughout my body I've never experienced such before. I was dead from my foot coming up I still ask why am I still here today. I know there's a reason why God kept my alive to this day. Thank God for life up to this day. I'm so amazed having to realize that there is actually someone who had a experience like what I went through and can relate.@michaelstuhlman
