who is that "jerry" you're talking about? As mentioned in the episode, the dapper man in tweed is clearly the distinguished Mr. Keith Keeps! So kind of him to stay and help with the car!
All these kind of channels are like that. How does a comment that isn't at all accurate, get 445 likes? ..Sorry 567 likes, and growing. Brotherly bonds are NOT what makes them unique. It's a couple of their personalities, that have made them unique, and famous. If you're going to compliment them, at least compliment them for being original guys.
The original money pit was a huge reason to why I brought my miata as my first car. Donut has also been such a huge inspiration and I’ve actually started working on it with some friends. If it wasn’t for this channel, I’d probably never have been inspired to pick up wrenches with my buddies and work on cars
🤯 The production on that commercial is so incredible!! So many people try the VHS look, and it's totally unrealistic, but you guys nailed it not only from the technical side (I'm convinced that you possibly shot it on tape), but the cinematography of the commercial is perfect too!! 🙇😎👍
I honestly like the original black Miata. Kinda has a lot of history with Money Pit and all but I think if you'll wrap this, maybe some awesome dark shades close to black would be cool.
So happy to see the Miata back on the channel. Pandemic Driveway era MoneyPit will always be my favourite part of Donut. Inspired me to get my own project and wrench on it myself 👌🏽Thanks Zach!
Donut Media could only make commercials and they would be the best in the industry. I love their creativity. This is the only channel where I don't skip the sponsored segments ever.
Big time. The guy not only does all the hard work videos, but has the personality to effortlessly carry as host as well. Sometimes feels like he gets stuck with all the hard shit and isn't too happy about it, but probably reading too much into it.
I love the Miata! Good to see some solid DIY content with Zack again. I still owe Zack a beverage of his choice for helping me with my N54 turbo install - from one of his past lives. 👍
At 13:00 we actually did get that front lip in the states, its actually called the r package lip but was also on other trims as well. Without researching anything though I can guarantee it was on the na6
I thank the higher automotive beings above everyday for Donut. Guys really pulled me out of a funk and made me wanna start turning a wrench again. Nolan, Jobe, Uncle Jerry, James, Justin, thank you for doing what you do. Also, the Miata needs to be a dark green
@@JRoadz I play guitar and I put one together out of left over parts a couple years ago. Sherwood green body with gold hardware looks sharp. Can never go wrong with green and gold
10:07 im guessing maybe you cut like that just to get that shot but i wouldve recommended cutting upwards towards the middle from both sides. it wouldve allowed you to sit down and balance yourself and in turn the tool much better and more easily see the line youre cutting. and it also seems from some shots that you might be pushing with the blade and yeah that works but if you want precision with that thing you should instead hold it back and just barely touch the edge continously where you want to cut, will keep it from catching and gives you far more control of the line that you are cutting.
Also, with these flares that extend onto the front bumper, I would very much recommend that you cut the flares at the seam where the bumper and fender meet and make it two pieces (look at how Dodge did it for their widebody). Two reasons for this: one, it means less steps when removing the front bumper. Secondly and more importantly: if the bumper ever gets ripped off for whatever reason, you don't have to worry about it murdering your flares and the fenders. You can easily secure the smaller piece on the bumper with the single bolt along with body adhesive
The Miata is back! That little bugger has easily been some of my very favorite content from you guys since the early Moneypit Covid days. Keep it coming!
I think I have a problem with widebody miatas because I recognized every single one you guys showed as examples! Glad to see Tofu and Robbie getting some recognition they well deserve!
You guys should do a satin purple wrap, looks clean but fits the cute but aggresive style as you guys said lol. Anyway love the content, been watching for about 4 or 5 years and you all never fail to make my day better thank you all
If the Miata is staying a solid color, it should stay black. If a livery was an option, maybe something kinda retro but gloss black on matte black for some flare? Good stuff happy the Miata’s back :)
I believe it's going to be red or yellow. Pandemic era of donut was one of my favourites every dinner i watched every single episode now it's coming back
While it would be fun to see this little Miata get a paint job, it'll be interesting to see what color you all go for in wrapping it. Maybe a British Racing Green, or something out there like a deep/midnight purple. Looking forward to seeing that little Miata once again!
When these two started working together they were so tense and awkward I genuinely thought they didn't like each other Now they are like the perfect comedy duo - love it
I wish you guys had a separate channel where you uploaded the actual how to, even if it’s not to the style of these videos. Job and Jeremiah both have a way to make it sound do-able. Just a thought in my brain tho

If you have access to tig, silicon bronze on the outter edge of the rear fender makes welding 100x easier w less chance of distortion in the work piece AND its really easy to grind down and make flush

I think light grey would be cool, and I’ve always followed the money pit, series and glad that is being revived

Black and Red always look good together

i think the factory classic red will always be iconic, but laser blue from the nb miata is also good
Avery ColorFlow “Rushing Riptide” or a light blue chrome wrap would imo be wild
I'd wrap it black, but have huge underlay DONUT logos on the sides sort at an angle so that you can see the shape of the logo
I think the Miata would look really cool in some kind of dark glossy red wrap. Maybe even throw a racing stripe in there.
Might have been better to install the rivnuts before cutting the front fender, that way there's more support material to prevent bending the fenders.
Miata looks so concerned at 3:19
(also, I vote blue for the wrap)
