There are many solutions to the fender liner clearance. I normally tuck the liner behind the new fold of the fender. That way you don’t leave a gap between the fender and liner as they did. Maybe in their case it was still gonna run so they had to cut. I’d use a heat gun to reshape the liner edge a bit if possible before I did that, and in some cases like my SRT-10 Ram, you just have to clearance a hole such as the area directly above the tire after doing a MAX front end (without control arm bracket fabrication) 2” drop with stock 22” rims & tires.

Being from north jersey I'd imagine this to be a trigger for early wheel well rust due to salt deposit during the winter months. I want to believe that in areas like these cutting is the best action taken.
I own the same fender roller he used. Many year ago I've been there done that with the bat method, a real fender roller is definitely the way to go. I also have the truck adapter and I use it pretty frequently on gm trucks. While truck fenders are much harder to roll, it works really well, just takes a little more time.

I'm sorry that car parts therapy ad is the most amazing thing y'all have ever done. amazing.
Interesting you post this as I prep to roll my fenders on my E36
Yayyyyy Zach is back!!!! Couldn't be happier!
Great episode! It's like you were reading my mind!
As you were rolling the front, I thought "Hey, DIY does not mean doing it with a baseball bat! Rollers are like 60$!", and bam, you pick up the proper tool for the rear!
I love all of the absurd musical interludes in these videos… it takes them from a 9 to a 10/10!
Nolan's Mustang needs some love.
I feel like your summary needs a "Risk" segment. Some of the things you cover, worst case, no harm done. But with others, there's potential damage that'll cost you more you can do. Keep up the great work :) Love the videos
why isn't anybody appreciating Donuts effort for that commercial, insane und humoristic af. Well done boiis
5:39 - "it seems like something you need patience for..."
Proceeds to have no patience to let him answer the question... 😂
Props to David for being an exceptional sport in this one.
WELCOME BACK ZACH!!!!! I LOVE YOUUUUUU!!
I made a roller years back scrap car jack and skateboard wheel worked ok. Also used a rag covered hammer not quite as good but did the jobs
Got my fenders rolled by David! Super awesome guy and knows what he’s doing!! Hit him up if you want your fenders rolled for sure
