I’m so thankful for Avene. I over did it with an exfoliating acid and burned my face. Since then I’ve developed dry, sensitive, rosacea prone skin. Their spring water, tolerance balm, cicaflate, and even retinal has healed my skin. Most products even simple ones like cervea/vanicream sting and burn. This brand doesn’t cause that for me! Forever love Avène!

I agree ❤ ive already spent thousands until itried Avene never had a burning sensation when you apply it. This brand is better than La Roche-Posay for Rosacea victims.

Have you found a sunscreen that is suitable for sensitive skin 🥲🥲? That is not too expensive like the color science and tatcha ?

I had facial cosmetic surgery a month ago......my surgeon gave me the Avene gentle cleanser and the skin recovery cream to use. I'm still using it and love how soothing it is. Thank you for this video.

I live in Spain and I've just started using Avène's Cicalfate+ hydrating skin repairing emulsion, which I apply only on dry patches. It's been working wonders on my face on tretinoin nights!

Hello doctor Liu!I appreciate your presence and thank you for the advice and information you provide. I live in Greece, at the southeastern tip of Europe. A country bathed in the sun. I have skin, fair toned, normal to dry, that doesn't tan but gets irritated by the sun, as well as by dust and other environmental pollution.. I've been using Avene products for many years and I'm happy, I feel safe in their use. The cicalfate cream has a more immediate healing effect, e.g. in light burns, than the corresponding from la roshe posay. I agree with you.Her sunscreens are all very high protection. For example, the b-protect, you show in video, is my favorite. It has a light shade (from titanium dioxide) that integrates into the skin, unifies its tone and illuminates the face beautifully. I use it and I don't need makeup. This one, which is supposed to be a city sunscreen, like her other one for the body which is for long hours in the sun, is high sun protection (50+), very moisturizing and extremely resistant to sweat or water. Also, i use the cream with Bakuchiol and you are correct in your assessment.

Love Avene. A must have line for our Canadian winters. Their lip balm that comes in the small tube is incredible. Unlike anything I've ever used, healing, protective, soothing. I even apply over lip stick for extra hydration and some shine. Thanks.

Thank you thank you thank you! I’ve been wondering about these 3 brands and I appreciate your brief mention of comparison between them and what sets Avene apart. I’m currently loving their mineral SPF. It doesn’t leave a white cast on my medium tan skin ❤️👏🏽

Hello. I've been a fan of yours since I discovered your channel. Your skin is so beautiful and cared for. Thank you for sharing. I have a question about the use of retinoids. I'm currently using Avene retrinal 0.05 cream. I often hear that it is a concentration for beginners. How do I know if I should stay at this concentration or increase to Avene 0.1 intense cream? Another question is: is the retinoid applied only to the chin or to the bottom of the jaw? Sorry if the question seems goofy. Thank you and happy holidays 🎉

I miss their old formulation of the oil cleanser. The new one stings my eyes and is a bit thinner. I don’t know why my eyes are so extremely sensitive :(

I got to admit the Cicalfate cream is not a moisturizer it's more of a treatment cream for rash and burns because of the zinc

Thank you for this review! As a person with hyper-reactive skin, new products are introduced very gradually. I never could make Retinol work but have had much better luck with retinaldehydes. I really like Avene RetrinAl 0.1 plus their coordinating eye cream for the face and neck (and backs of hands). Recently I switched to a 2% granactive retinoid (Dr Sams Flawless Nightly) which my face tolerates well but my neck does not. Currently Using Avene Tolerance Control Soothing skin recovery cream and Aveeno Calm + Restore Redness Relief Moisturizing Cream for the irritated skin on my neck. Am considering either going back to the Avene RetrinAl 0.1 for my neck, or Pacifica Wake Up Beautiful Retinoid Body Lotion (1% granactive retinoid). Would love a review of Pacifica Wake Up Beautiful Retinoid Body Lotion and Body Serum, plus the Aveeno Calm + Restore Redness Relief Moisturizing Cream.

I use the avene trixera nutri-fluid balm. Its fragrance free and super moisturizing, almost took moisturizing. Because of this I only use it on my body around the most dry areas only.

I have dry/peeling face due to tretinoin use (1-2 weekly for a long time now) but the dry/peeling hasn't gone away. I tried avene cicalfate restorative protective cream and it eventually made my face even drier. Any other suggestions from them? I have acne prone face.

I just ordered the Avene RetrinAL 0.1 to use around my lips to prevent lip lines. I use prescription tretinoin 0.5 (I get it for $25 delivered to my house) at night but if I get it near my mouth I get severe redness and peeling. So I’m adding the more expensive Avene product to my routine just for around my lips.
