  • During this session we will breakdown the techniques used for making the Mars landscape as seen in the short movie "The Dawning". We will analyze several heightfield and modelling approaches at scale - from closeup cracked ground, strata cliffs to vast landscapes.

      @@damjanmx Nah it's good. I think sometimes it's enough to just show a certain workflow and let people figure out the rest for themselves. You'll never be able to go into every single node and what it's doing or you'll be here for days! :D

    I have a question! At the end the padding was added to each udim. But when we exported the layers through the Labs Terrain Layer Export tool, the maps don't have any padding. This issue creates small seams when textured in Substance Painter. How this problem was solved?
