By 1:30 already the most informative roller skate review I’ve ever seen! Makes we wonder why don’t they all start like this?! Thank you for such a well done and helpful review 🎉
Thank you for talking about how short the wheelbase is! I got new Chayas as a treat for my progress and felt like I regressed on them and kept tripping forwards
These were my first skates. Really impressed with the brand, I've got softer cushions on now. Which Chaya now sell. 97a wheels as I'm usually indoors. Also replaced the insoles as that was pretty thin. But really good skates. For Christmas my husband upgraded me to the Chaya skates which are a grade up.
I have them in cobalt color, this color had bolt on stops and HARD cushions. I gotta say, they might last, but boots scratch easily, one fall outside and you tear them, creases on bending the top part are visible in this vid already, after an hour, they arent going away. So I'd recomend them if looks arent your priority. My cheapest Oxelos look better after seven years than these after one year
I had the reds (in my profile) and I've loved them sm for a year. My pair did not arrive in a chaya box just a generic post one. They would have lasted me a few months longer before fully separating at the heel with heavy use, i got new ones for figure skating. But they were really lovely! For me the cushions were not soft at all tho for outside edges.
These were my first skates. They were great in the first year but then i really needed an upgreat, but i would recomand them as your first pare of skates!
Remind skaters that truck adjustment is only around 1full turn and not overtightening the cushions. If still too wobbly go to the next hardness cushions
Love this Katie. Chaya definitely deserve more recognition as a brand! 🙂
I totally agree!

They’re definitely shorter than what I’m used to. It’s nice and maneuverable but they did catch me out a few times.

Came for the review, but stayed for all the skate maintenance tips! Thank you Skatie!
I've been considering getting a pair of Chayas for a while and this has really helped. Thank you Skatie. 😊
Chaya is a really good brand!! I purchased the Chaya Lifestyle skates in purple evil! sturdy and even as a beginner it's really good!!

"So let's see what's in the box. Skates." 😂
Great content and editing as always
just got mine..! thank you!😍
I looove my Chaya skates, they’re so comfortable, whenever I put them on it feels like a warm hug on my feet. 😂
Yes! That’s how my feet want to feel. Like they’re in slippers. 🤗
Thank you for all your help.
Thank you so much for your support
@Skatie can you show some of your skating tutorial videos with skates off so I can practice everywhere I go.
@ I have one the skating 101 that in shoes 👟
I’m surprised they didn’t have all the tools. I’m pretty sure when I bought some Chaya Elite’s a few years ago that they came with the whole set.

100% thank you. Great advice.
I want these in red 38 EU and I can’t find them anywhere 😢
I loved!! 💛🛼✨️👏🤗
I bought size 4 but they were actually size 3...too small. Sold them...much prefer Rio anyway
Make sure to always use the mm length of your foot and not go by shoe size. Skate sizes are generally all over the place.
