thanks for your great review. some guys complaining bezel alignment issue, now we returning all stock to factory, proper bezel will be fixed after 3-4 days, so we will arrange orders after done. sorry all.
Does that mean that if I order this watch today, is everything aligned correctly? Does this also apply to the "diver watch factory store" at ali-express? There she is on offer for 168,00€
I purchased this watch 1 day ago from Diver Watch factory store on AliExpress. Do you know if this stock is OK with bezel alignment issues ? Please reply to let me know.
@@WATCHDIVES thanks for replying. My watch has been shipped now from the Diver Watch Factory AliExpress store. Should be delivered soon. I will post my review and pictures and let you know if there are any bezel issues with it.
The Heimdallr is nice too but the hour hand, indices and date window put it a rung below the WD imho. WD was smart to go satin titanium with a matted bezel insert, using non-reflective surfaces was a key design element in the original most copy-catters didn't bother to inform themselves of.
Great review. I’ve also just ordered this from the Diver Watch Factory store so I’m hoping there are no bezel alignment issues or issues with how the insert was placed in the bezel. It is clear from this review that the bezel insert has not been placed correctly in relation to the outer bezel “teeth”. It’s completely misaligned. Signed buckle and an engraved caseback would have made it even better.
Needed to be vh31 powered and much much thinner. If you disagree, I wouldn’t replace this release just accompany it with a midsize quartz version to really play in a ballpark Omega doesn’t tread on.
Thanks for this. Have the Pagani on mesh and silicon, really like it!! Tried the Heimdallr, and liked it overall, but could not live with the crystal distortions from the AR coating. AR coating literally made the circular indices "half moons", while distorting significantly, the outer edge of the crystal; returned it. Really looking forward to getting my Watchdives version. Thinking it will be the same case, form factor as the Heim. I really like how the Heim. was thinner and wore very different than the Pagani. (Pagani was $62; I paid $165 for the Watchdives on mesh, but you can get it for $140). I got the no-date version with the crow's feet and helium valve, so a bit more true to the Omega. I'll also be interested to see if the bezel and dial are more of a brown like the Omega, than the black of the Pagani. I'd also bet that the Watchdives/Heim. case, bracelet, perhaps even the movement (due to the Heim. homages and the fakes/copies have the same crown screwing issues) is what the replicas use?
I have the heimdallr nttd and i think its a great watch although i do like the watchdives dial with no date. . In your opinion is the watchdives an upgrade? Is it worth buying since i already own the heimdallr??
I think they are probably about the same...only difference is the Watchdives is more like a Seamaster as opposed to the Heimdallr which is more of a direct homage to the Omega NTTD
@@jawsmod I would expect it to run for a while..as long as you don't wear it in the water. These watches aren't designed to the same standard as a brand name...
For anyone interested I just got mine in the mail with the new logo and the bezel is a nice chocolate brown just like the Omega (it looks black in the video) and every OCD thing you can think of lines up perfectly. The NATO strap seems of decent quality as well. Too bad the bezel grinds and barely turns and the lume needs a monster flashlight to get it going. Knowing this would I buy it again? Definitely.
Great review, my point is that the insert doesn't line up with the scallop points, because these are supposed to line up, I have the black pagani seamaster pro homage and it lines up, however there's other manufacturers that just seem to install the insert in a random steeldive being one of them. Apart from that it looks great 👍
I ordered one and received it. So far I’m impressed. My only worry is how long this will last with daily use. Is this watch even serviceable or can I expect this to just be a throw away?
1. You talk about the lume but don't show us the lume? 2. The original is dark brown, NOT black, all of the homages seem to be black or grey which is a pity. 3 The indicies lume appear to be a bit patchy. 3. The bezel is too shiny. I actually have the Phylida homage which although being steel and only 41mm actually manages to look better than this one. This one misses the mark which is surprising because I have a Steeldive 41mm Rolex GMT Master II homage which is absolutely INCREDIBLE! They absolutely knocked it out of the park , amazing Pepsi ceramic and the lume is somewhat comparable to the landing lights on an airplane. Steeldive are capable of some amazing stuff and would like to see them do an improved version of the 007 with correctly coloured lume and dial and bezel.
I have a watchdives model 1530 and it has CRAZY ASS GOOD LUMINATION. I recall being a child and Amazed about anything that had lume. Lots of compasses etc. Never got enough. Now you too can be satisfied with your lume jones.
(D'autant qu' elle ne m'a coûté que 152 €) Version Anglaise : Hello and thank you for this nice presentation of the WD 007. I received mine yesterday and I am already somewhat disappointed....Indeed, the little "lum" insert which was in the triangle on the bezel at 12 o'clock has already disappeared.... The bezel itself is almost impossible to rotate without violent effort! ! ! In addition, the precision is really not there with a delay of 20 seconds per 12 hours! ! ! The Milanese-style steel bracelet is not too bad but its clasp is very hard to open and less comfortable than that of the Heimdall'r. On the other hand, its security system is very practical because it allows you to maintain the setting each time you remove the watch. (unlike that of my first Heimdall'r which I have also had for 6 months and which comes off each time) The second one which I had received just before the WD 007 went directly to its seller (Ali express) since the bezel was completely blocked! To compare, I prefer the dial of the WD 007 whose color of the "brown" indexes is identical to that of the bezel and is much closer to the original model.... That of the Heimdall'r is rather vanilla yellow and is not in harmony with that of its bezel. Regarding the LUM, I rank the two equally with a rather short duration and difficult to see at the end of the night. I will still keep this watch because I find it pretty enough to wear from time to time. (Especially since it only cost me €152)
Sorry to hear you had some issues. Have you raised it with Watchdives as I am sure they would like to understand where they can make improvements. With regards the watch accuracy, it should settle down after being worn in for a week, at that point I would recommend retesting the accuracy.
