I’m a fan of the omega seamaster so I bought this exact watch and have been wearing it for 2 weeks. Maybe I was lucky but the bezel rotates smoothly on mine and using a firm grip you can turn it. No chance with wet fingers thought. There is a bit of backplay but I think this is the price you have to pay to have a bezel with low grip. The sharp edges on the case back engraving don’t bother me in normal use. You can only feel the sharpness when you rub your fingers across it. The bracelet fits very well on a larger wrist (mine is 19cm) but may not work on a small wrist. Standout features are the titanium construction, the matt black lumed bezel and how close the case shape and look is to the seamaster design. I actually like the dial proportions and don’t mind the fact that the hands are a bit thinner than the omega. I say if you like the watch size and look of it then it’s worth the money
I bought the San Martin “Burgundy” and I have to say that watching your review before buying it helped me appreciate the watch better, I had an idea of what I was getting and didn’t have high expectations. I guess that we do appreciate your honesty and critical viewpoints. Having said this, yes, I would buy this WatchDives just from the looks. I’d live with the non-rotating bezel. Also: I hope you make that video that will tell your story behind that Hruodland you’re wearing.
Thanks buddy! I’m glad my video helped with your purchasing decision. Will get to the Hruodland eventually, too many watches to review and not enough time 😅
I just received this watch and have mixed feeling about it. I do love the striking looks. It appears smallish on my 18sm wrist (perhaps I'm used to bigger watches). My bezels rotation is indeed a pain (not a deal breaker for me). The lume gets weak on the hands long stripes, kinda hard to read the time, even though everything else glows quite long at night. The accuracy is surprisingly good + 3 sec per day. The winding head is also quite sharp and tight - I'm a little worried about stripping the threads when I screw it down. 4 stars out of five. Still a very cool watch.
I could work with that bezel. A rubber cap and a dremel or drill to spin the tight spots in the rotation. Symmetry is key when I select a watch. So the "helium release valve" is a no-go ...... especially for a watch that is limited to 100 meters. I really like WatchDives!
Thank you for your honest review. I got the same white version 3 days ago. The bezels are the worst, and the bracelets feel like they're less than AliExpress's $5. The whole thing is rough. I'm so disappointed that Watchdive released the watch in this condition. I also bought gmt Explorer for Watchdive. It also has a thick mid case, which makes the center of gravity of the head uncomfortable. Overall, it's so disappointing.
I've seen such mixed reviews on this watch! I love the look of it but the complaints put me off. I like the Heimdallr version but don't like the date window!
It really is a good looking watch. The bezel is annoying but if you don’t use it then who cares. The sharp edges can be fixed easily. So if you like it then go for it

I can't wait for the 38 mil version they announced earlier
Same. Can’t wait to see what design they’ll end up with
😊nice piece and cool vid. I got a question though, where did you get the rubber steal?
@migfed not sure what you mean by rubber steal…the rubber straps shown in the review are linked in the description of the video
Thanks for mention that. I was going to order it, but a 42 mm will be a big larger for my wrist. I'll wait for the 38 mm version then.
oh, cool! do you know when will it be released? very much looking forward to a white smp300 homage but smaller. thanks!
I really like your reviews. Extremely honesty, technical and imparcial. Thanks bro!!! Cheers
Thanks man! Really appreciate it
Nice to see your wishlist of colourful dials, at the end!
A 39mm with the helium escape valve deleted, will do well.

Thanks for the great review. I’m probably in the minority, but I would like to see it in steel. Probably fix the bezel issue also. Thanks again!
Yeah the titanium bezels are usually worse than the steel versions. So I wouldn’t mind a steel version also
Hello. Could I put it an uncle Seiko us1450 titanium band, if it’s yes so it will be an amazing watch ?
Sorry I don’t know the answer to that. I don’t have that band to verify
Please review the watch on your wrist
Octopus Kraken version is a Country mile better, take a look at the video guys
Yucky sizing.
Not at all. Fits perfectly on my 6.5 inch wrist and looks better proportioned than my previous Phylidas. To me.
grow a wrist and stop whining
