Your question is gold 😂 I would say take it slow. It's not so much the risk of actual food poisoning (that can even happen in high end restaurants) it's that the bacteria in food is different, so give your body time to adapt, depending on how long you're there for. Go for dishes that are clearly well cooked and avoid anything seafood. Thank you so much for watching! Hope you enjoyed my videos!
These are great tips! You've certainly got it down to science! I am glad I got a chance to experience a bit of Cancun and finally see what all the hype is about. (I'll stick to Bacalar!) ;)
great tips! I am going to Cancun next week , but I heard parque de las palapas is under renovation is it still visitable? or is there any alternate spot to check out to see night market scene with street food and souvenirs?
Thanks for the comment! When I was last there, a few months ago, it was open, but I wouldn't worry too much about the parque itself being open as there are tons of food options in that area, from differing price ranges. Hope you have a great time in Cancun, amiga! Safe travels!
Thanks for the great tips!
Glad it was helpful! Safe travels, my friend!
How do I avoid food poisoning when eating street food? Great video btw!
