CEOS really think everybody loves customers when in actuality most people just want a paycheck
They don't think people love customers they simply expect them to behave properly when at work.
I was glad the arrogant, hateful home-oh got fired from Boston Market.
They love the customer because they're never in front lines dealing with shitty customers and making barely livable wages

Integrity is doing the right thing when no one is looking.

I tend to say integrity is being the same amongst others as you would when you’re at home, but I guess both sentences paint two sides of what integrity means.

Back in the 70s-90’s when I was a UPS driver many upper management people started as drivers
I just had Amazon driver at my apartment. Our building is secured. He knocked and knocked I let him in. He threw the package at her door. Like wtf. He didn't care if it fragile or not. I have seen people scream at the post office person because her package was there in 24 hours after she ordered it.

Always find it hilarious that some of these CEOs set insane standards that even they can't keep up with, as they spend millions lobbying against higher wages and unionization.
I've not yet seen an episode were insane standards were set, in addition to several of the CEO'S rewarded good employees ABUNDANTLY.
Now, that being said, a poor CEO may NEVER be show cased on the show, HOWEVER, IN YOUR DEFENSE, THERE ARE POOR CEO'S who do exactly what you've outlined!

I really hope the recovering alcoholic didn't get fired for telling him that cuz being in recovery is hard enough without someone judging you , Recovery is the key word here ! Means he's taking steps to be sober and that's awsome !! I wish him all the best!
Both of those people were amazing.. I hope they both got a raise.. I dont think you can fire someone for being in recovery and hopefully it was just a great bonding moment.. I would be proud, not pissed..

99% of the employees have no idea who their CEO is. I work for Stanley Black & Decker and I have no idea who the CEO is. I have never seen a picture of him nor have I ever met him. He could walk in tomorrow without a disguise and I wouldn't know who he is.
The CEO of TaylorMade was recognized almost instantly the second he stepped into the facility in Carlsbad, CA (the next city over from mine). He was fully disguised and the employees still knew who he was.
The Hooter's ceo that just stood there and let that moron manager disrespect those employees like that, should be fired. He should've stopped that in it tracks.

@@marycanary she actually didn't fire he. He got "demoted" and I believe had to pass drug tests. I was happy she didn't fire him and gave him another chance

The point is that him doing that while he’s on company time makes him a liability.
He’s lucky that the ceo was generous and decided to give him a chance to get his act together instead of firing him.
If this is the first time an employee meets a CEO, maybe the CEO should try to figure out why that is....

They claim it's a TV show to compete for who gets hired. The bosses pretend to be competing for the job. I think they try different stories about why the TV show is happening. However this puts the employees in an awkward situation where they may not normally act this way
These undercover bosses are all corporate. Regardless of the time they spend they could never relate to their employees lives let alone their jobs.
Most of these "undercover bosses" are a bunch of hypocrites. At least those "foul mouthed" employees are being truthful, while the CEOs are just pretending for the camera.
Not all....... The first season was pretty good. After that everyone was on alert. And for sure Jacqueline ( the girl at the gym) was an obnoxious brat and deserved to be fired, saddest part is she started working at a nursing home after that. I wouldn't want her within miles of any dependent person.

@3:10 im sure there's great work environments out there, and maybe she's telling the truth about how the company loves they're customers. But let's be real, that's not always true, some places suck and with that some customers suck. So assuming he's a decent employee, helps, and it relatively friendly there shouldn't be a reason to fire him...maybe a lecture along the line of "keep your opinion to yourself at work"
Delivering pizzas sober would require a good salary. Also keep that to yourself.
