I mean, people got fired due to their behavior on the show. The cameras are there under different pretenses, but I can't imagine some of them don't know their behavior is going to get them fired.
It’s obviously scripted lol every episode has the same premise. Overworked employee with life issues gets special help from the ceo or abusive manager gets fired.
That general manager really got screw over though because if you watch the whole episode he got hired as an assistant manager but had to work as a gm. You can assume he was getting assistant manager pay for gm work.
It breaks my heart really to see executives care about their employees so much, because what I'm seeing right now is lightweight compared to what I've seen, and been through, in various jobs I've worked so far - and no one ever stood up for me or my coworkers.
This type of behavior happens everywhere with every company. They don’t regulate the people who they place in charge, especially after Covid. Even the CEO’s behave this way now. Everything has become “More productivity but you don’t get compensated more.” I was doing 3 people’s jobs at Publix but I’m not being compensated as 3 people. Retail is a dying business so they are milking everything their staff is worth.
To be fair, undercover boss is seriously a show that highlights the corporate failures of capitalist america. If you can go undercover with nobody recognizing you, you're probably a terrible boss. I used to work at a corporate headquarters of a major company and there would never be a day when our boss could go undercover. He was just too recognizable.
To be fair most of these places are franchises all over the country. The franchise owner will recognize the CEO, maybe management as well but generally those on the line won’t because they don’t interact with the CEO. Also those there just to make ends meet don’t care as long as they get paid for their work
They obviously don't care about their jobs if they're willing to act like that on camera. They don't know it's an "undercover boss" but they're told it's a show or documentary of some kind and they still behave that way.
@@Cerez78 The one that I watched that was short clips like this with the Boston Market boss definitely not scripted as the owner called out one of the employees and he was visibly shocked that it wasn't whatever the camera crews told him. (He thought it was time for his big break into show biz!)

Fairly certain if this was ever attempted at my job, I'd be in the back of every shot just staring, head tilted, eyebrows raised, at my boss wondering why he felt a Groucho Marx mustache and glasses was going to fool anyone.
I think it is real to a point, but it’s not real most of the time. Many of those cases are probably thought up by the show’s producers to make situations look worse than they are or gain sympathy for others from the viewers.
@@xoxamyyyx I’d say the experiences are real but like I think most of it is faked by the production team. I mean how many CEOs go undercover and see their employees have a sad sob story. So I say it is real to a point but most of it must have been faked for dramatic flair

@@RamosGeorgeThis is not grindr, my dude!😂
@@pattim173 Good morning! I’ll bet your smile could outshine the sun today. Looking forward to seeing it!
No way this show is 100% real life
I mean, people got fired due to their behavior on the show. The cameras are there under different pretenses, but I can't imagine some of them don't know their behavior is going to get them fired.
Some of it definitely seems staged.
thank you it’s SO SCRIPTED LOL
It’s obviously scripted lol every episode has the same premise. Overworked employee with life issues gets special help from the ceo or abusive manager gets fired.
That general manager really got screw over though because if you watch the whole episode he got hired as an assistant manager but had to work as a gm. You can assume he was getting assistant manager pay for gm work.
Yea, was working multiple jobs but being paid for just an assistant
"I think pretty people shouldn't have to work"
I agree. *Stares at her uniform*
It breaks my heart really to see executives care about their employees so much, because what I'm seeing right now is lightweight compared to what I've seen, and been through, in various jobs I've worked so far - and no one ever stood up for me or my coworkers.
I am sorry for what happened to you; hopefully, the next generation will not suffer the same fate.
Don't hope too much it's gonna get worse after many years flew by
I've worked in construction they all need to grow up 😂😂😂
@@julianrogers8608 you go first! we all want to see a miracle happen!
Ya these people wonder why they don't have staff willing to do 3 jobs at once for minimum wage
I'm so sorry this has happened and is still happening to you. With the lack of good employees maybe it will turn around.
I've been to countless Hooters locations. How this manager was behaving seems pretty par for the course as far as hooters managers.
4:00 this is unironically why hooters was rebranded to hoots and now has both male and female wait staff who wear basic T-shirts and pants
That’s not true. Hooters still exist.
Its a Canadian show.
To be fair most of these places are franchises all over the country. The franchise owner will recognize the CEO, maybe management as well but generally those on the line won’t because they don’t interact with the CEO. Also those there just to make ends meet don’t care as long as they get paid for their work
@@jamesgadd8440 it's American and Canadian.
Ah...an educated little hat person..like karl marx himself
@@Joedirt3349 I have a master's degree in business. I should know what a good CEO looks like. I have the thesis to prove it.
They obviously don't care about their jobs if they're willing to act like that on camera. They don't know it's an "undercover boss" but they're told it's a show or documentary of some kind and they still behave that way.
I think it's scripted.
@@Cerez78 The one that I watched that was short clips like this with the Boston Market boss definitely not scripted as the owner called out one of the employees and he was visibly shocked that it wasn't whatever the camera crews told him. (He thought it was time for his big break into show biz!)
Worst part about the hooters boss is he didn’t fire the manager after watching him do this he literally just gave him a slap on the wrist
Finally some justice in the world! Thank you
I asked myself this question all the time , are these employees serious half of the time ?
This is so common in so many work places / companies. I got fired for no reason . My manager would be sleeping with the owner and brainwashed him because she didn’t like me at all and guess who got let go? It’s sad some CEOs or owners don’t stand for the rights
Of the good employees.
The Jeeves girl is definitely sleeping with her manager.
There is your problem, bud! You needed to sleep with the manager too! LMAO
Seriously though, sorry about that! You really wont win when the women are sleeping their way up the corporate ladder!
Wow that sounds like some premium copium, i guarantee none of that was happening and you were just not as great as you thought you were
This show absolutely needs to come back
XD the first one the ceo was like nah fam you still have a job *fires manager and closes the restaurant* 😂😂😂😂😂
The juice girl is 1000% a placed actor
When the checkers boss just realized he asked if the ceo had any experince in fast food
Being in management in restaurants for over 10 years these managers behavior was disgusting and appalling 🤷🏾♀️😬🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
So how do they explain cameras being waved in their faces ?😂
5:15 "Who wants to go home early?"
I'm going home for good ✌️
Who told that girl she was pretty ?
I can only imagine how the hooter manager treats his wife. I'd be getting divorce.
I think it.s staged...
@@fishermanbaelin4236 I doubt it honestly, considering that there are people like that that not only work in an industry that does hire women based off of their body and breast size almost alone but also in other industries that don't, it would not surprise me one bit if this wasn't staged 🤔
And as the president of hooters it would be common sense TO FIRE him on the spot especially since he's going to defend his actions not sit there dumbfounded shaking your head
Here’s my problem with TV like this… they all see the camera crews in their place of work… they all know a show called “undercover boss” exists. Yet we’re supposed to believe none of them realize what is actually going on
2:00 XD oh wow! Amazing
How in the hell do these types of people become managers,?
high turnover
Biggest bullshitter when it comes to interview time.
@@meair That and some higher ups giving higher positions to idiots and those undeserving solely out of Seniority, which I wish more workplaces avoided doing.
Do they just not see the dude holding the camera
Exactly 😂
They're told that it's a documentary or something else, so they're aware of the cameras, but not aware that the Big Boss is there.
The CEOs came in like a boss… I can’t believe the situations.
2:00 "Then he realized he fucked up"
A disrespectful employee at Hooters?!! The irony! 😂😂
The jeeves girl was post onlyfans, like what most girls like her would be. But thanks to the app her statement "pretty people dont have to work" is more than a reality
I would go to jail if I saw that last manager, I wouldn't be able to restrain myself.
Just imagine being the C.E.O of HOOTERS and pretending to care about ethics LMAOOOOO.
Lol that blonde girl gonna be working fast food the rest of her life. "Marry a surgeon"
Ceo don't go to their workplaces when you guys gonna realize they are too busy getting six figures and sitting doing paperwork
I would have fired him treating women like that.
If I was the father and seen this video of my daughter doing that....he would have a very upset customer in the store!
I think they did fire him
@@lonelypigeon7562 and a broken nose
3:16 " I feel like pretty people shouldnt have to work". Shouldn't she be the hardest worker there
The way he casually puts his arm around him in the first video is gold😂
Ah, Jeeves. The all-time classic awkward nickname.
#Jeeves
5:47 "ah" indeed
3:22 i wish i have the self esteem and confidence as her
I hope that first employee is doing good now in life.
The most cliche’ Jimbo ever 😂
Had a on the job training from a girl similar to the Frozen Yogurt Girl. After exchanging names and general niceness, she said "I'm the Jaded One."
Look who made it out the cellar, Amari!
4:27 the HOOTERS brand hahahahaha
its hard to believe these people didnt know what was goin on with the sudden camera crew around...
This all has too be staged
The hooters manager needs his house searched
The Hooters manager behaves exactly how he looks like he would.
With the Camerman recording the whole thing 😆😆😆
I hope these managers don't lose their jobs but just demote them to dishwasher to work his/her way up the ladder again, give the ones abused a chance to do a proper job in management.
I mean... the employees have to know somethings up... all the cameras??
Nah, they're all pretty dum**
You would think.. the story goes that employees are told, that they are doing a reality show, about working in that industry (that’s how I remember it). Some of them may suspect something, but yeah..
@@TheBullet0012 i think most of them somewhat know, but most of them don’t care
Love this channel. Love from kenya🇰🇪
Sasa?
Fairly certain if this was ever attempted at my job, I'd be in the back of every shot just staring, head tilted, eyebrows raised, at my boss wondering why he felt a Groucho Marx mustache and glasses was going to fool anyone.
Do you people really think this is real?
I think it is real to a point, but it’s not real most of the time. Many of those cases are probably thought up by the show’s producers to make situations look worse than they are or gain sympathy for others from the viewers.
Just ask other people about their experiences ☠️
@@xoxamyyyx I’d say the experiences are real but like I think most of it is faked by the production team. I mean how many CEOs go undercover and see their employees have a sad sob story.
So I say it is real to a point but most of it must have been faked for dramatic flair
its funny how the cameraman is invisible
Something I've never understood.... How do they convince the staff and stuff that it's normal to have cameras and do interviews without them thinking something fishy is going on?
go watch the show first, then comment.
They tell them its the Tik Tok camera men! Every mindless good wants to be on Tik Tok!
Customer service is terrible anywhere you go now. Bring this show back! Especially in Canada!
I think the word they were searching for in the Hooters situation was 'Degrading.'
The CEO of Hooters has NO PROBLEM with any of that. He just had to save face for the show. His entire brand is built on degrading women and using them as "things".
This randomly pop up on recommended
