    With the checkers. The boss came to realize it was about lack of training. Nearly everyone at the location had been on the job and didnt receive adequate training. So yes, he closed the restaurant, but only temporarily. He brought in trainers for the staff and manager and then reopened a few days later.

      To be fair I don't think married women with children should work. It's not a crime or a sin but I think it's very admirable if a women can not only raise the children very well but pursue some kind of entrepreneur project that's just. That's just amazing.

      The premise of the restaurant was the hospitality, with the female form being the main theme. The labour laws would prohibit discrimination with regard to age - I'm not familiar with North American laws or their nuance. Somewhat gross, though.

    As someone who works in customer service its not the customers its the managers and coworkers that make me dread my shift everyday.theres a lot of favouritism and I do a lot of the work whilst everyone is usually on their phones or smoking. I do get rude customers every now and then but patience and understanding is the best thing i can do when it was another coworkers fault. Ive made a lot of friends who are customers over the 2 years and enjoy conversations with them more than the people who i work with when they return. This video is very relatable and explains people who i work with well.

    I’m a business student (major in HUMAN RESOURCES) watching this kind of shows make me more think of better strategies on how to manage the minimum wage workers and especially when it comes to their rights. These kind of issues need to be addressed immediately

      Generally the explanation given is the cameras are there under different pretenses like some sort of documentary. I mean, I know people have 100% gotten fired due to their behavior on the show. i.e. the "pretty people shouldn't have to work" girl got fired. The hooters boss resigned in lieu of being fired and the CEO bought all of the employees all expenses paid vacations for the BS they put up with them. One of the women blogged about the experience who happens to be a mother of two. Could you imagine your mother being subjected to this BS the manager was doing?

    To be fair, undercover boss is seriously a show that highlights the corporate failures of capitalist america. If you can go undercover with nobody recognizing you, you're probably a terrible boss. I used to work at a corporate headquarters of a major company and there would never be a day when our boss could go undercover. He was just too recognizable.

Also those there just to make ends meet don’t care as long as they get paid for their work

    This type of behavior happens everywhere with every company. They don’t regulate the people who they place in charge, especially after Covid. Even the CEO’s behave this way now. Everything has become “More productivity but you don’t get compensated more.” I was doing 3 people’s jobs at Publix but I’m not being compensated as 3 people. Retail is a dying business so they are milking everything their staff is worth.

    This is so common in so many work places / companies. I got fired for no reason . My manager would be sleeping with the owner and brainwashed him because she didn’t like me at all and guess who got let go? It’s sad some CEOs or owners don’t stand for the rights
    Of the good employees.

    It's crazy how many second chances some of the managers would get but not minimum wage staff. Even in my own life experience, I was at a job made a mistake that violated the policy and they had no choice but to let me go but my direct manager messed up several orders had a short temper and was very rude with employees at times and did a number of things that I'm sure were against policy plus would brag constantly about the things they used to get away with before getting promoted and would then write people up for the same exact thing when they had the option of letting it be a warning instead of a write up. The checkers gm and the hooters manager and the yogurt shift leader should have been fire on the spot. As well as the violent candle worker because that is such a big concern for future customer interaction or lawsuits against the company.
