The moves where we’re on our sides resting on our arms lifting our legs literally was impossible for me and gave me a major headache 😭 Will try to come back to this video in a month and see if I can do it!
I didn't realize that Pilates was "blowing up" right now! I started practicing back in the late 1990s with Brooke Siler's book and have practiced on and off since then. My attention turned more towards yoga when I became a yoga teacher, but I've been adding more Pilates back in over the past year.
Hi Raven! I did this yesterday and my legs are killing me today 🙈 I mainly do strength training with heavy weights, but I found incorporating pilates a few times a week has really helped. I’ve attempted pilates on and off over the years but you’re my fave teacher and it finally stuck with you. I recommend you on tiktok all the time when people ask for resources. ❤
@@shaikya I've asked 2 scholars about this (since this conversation) and both said that I can fully make dua for non Muslims. I'm so glad I did my research. The only thing haram, would be asking Allah to forgive them after they pass away.
This workout was so hard, towards the end I was having to double check if I was actually lifting off the mat cause I was feeling weak 😅. Feeling beat yet great!

One month of doing pilates almost every day and I'm beginning to feel stronger in my body. 🥹 I've only watched Jessica Valant before (whom I love), but it felt good finding another channel that I enjoy too! I love the reminders and instructions throughout the workout. This was super hard for me, but oh so rewarding!!!
I feel like I'm doing something wrong but idk what it is!! In many of the exercises ( especially the one laying down, kicking each leg to the butt ) I can't feel my core, or glutes, or harmstrings but only my back :(. Also the last, rocking exercise - how do ya'll do this with your pelvic bone? I can't sit on it, it hurts way too much and rocking up is also painful..
I’m no expert but keep your lower back on the floor for exercises on the back, do not let it arch. Also think about bringing your ribs towards your hips (without hunching over!) to engage your core and see if you feel a difference
I am not very fat bt the body is not very proportionate i wanna get in shape, so being the beginner who is looking for home workout will this work? Shall i start with this?
