Hi Raven! I was wondering if you would consider making an “hip friendly” video where you “take care” of the hips? I’ve got my 4th hip surgery a while ago and I’m still in a lot of pain and I’m not able to do a lot of Pilates where I have to move my legs laying on the mat etc :(
@sara123163 thank you for asking! I haven’t had surgery yet, but I’m trying to prevent it! This will be so helpful 😊Thank you @pilatesbodyraven. Abs on fire🔥
I am requesting the same thing please! I am trying to avoiding hip replacement and ablation procedure (where they cut your sacral nerves) to reduce the chronic pain. I just had my second nerve block and it is a temporary fix. I would like to strengthen my hip and gluteal muscles. It is very difficult to find workouts that are hip friendly. I use to run, kickbox, weight lift. Now I have to be careful how I get out of bed!
I have a hip issue as well. I've done some research on best stretches & Excerises for hip pain. I ordered a hip brace from Amazon, and all of this has helped tremendously.🙏🏿❤️ @lionesspride5758
I’ve been having random tailbone pain for like 4 days, and activating my deep core with this actually helped improve the pain. the human body is INSANE, thanks for the workout! ❤️🔥
Thank you for this. I’m almost 3 years PP from my 2nd C-section. I’m trying to get back into working out and this video really helped me feel great and getting used to moving my body. Thank you so so much!!!
I'm 26 and have had 3 major back injuries in my life. Fortunately, I've always been able to heal them with physical therapy (and really hard work). I'm having a teeny tiny flare of lower back pain right now and decided to try this for core strength and stretching, and it was exactly what I needed. Thank you for making pilates more accessible, I will definitely be returning to this video and would love more like it ❤
I love this video: this mental connection to the deep abs help a lot with other videos. I go back to this one as a refresher every now and then, and then take this awareness to all my other workouts to get a proper connection to the core. I pull up the pelvic floor with every ab contraction too.
Loved it, Raven! Such a great deep core activation! Postpartum mama of 2 and I have noticed I really need to focus more on my deep core! Thank you for this short workout that I can fit in while my littles nap
Post double C-Section mommy here (ignore the profile icon, my teenager took over 🤦🏽♀️ 😂) but this was exactly what I needed and will definitely be putting this into my weekly recovery routine. Would love more of these. Thank you for what you do! 🙏🏽💛
It’s my 3rd time doing this tape and I really enjoy learning from you. I also did one of your playbook courses from last January. I see improvement in my practice and your videos!
It's amazing how when you say "you are litterally finished" sounds so cool beacause I feel like I could do a hundred more of these - until te next morning when I'm like on FIRE !! So nice to have a workout that I'm so excited about and that I can easily do. Thank you so much Raven
Thank you so much for this routine. Just getting back into self-care after struggling to manage my fibromyalgia. I've put on weight, especially around my stomach so my back has been an extra pain. Today, it felt good. Thank you for that. Please do more videos like this one.
I started this one thinking it was going to be easy 😅 I am swallowing my words I can already feel my abs are soo sore! Great one again, thank you Raven!
Raven, I just wanted to say I think you are amazing and very funny! Your humour makes the workouts so much more enjoyable and I found this one to be really beneficial to my recovery from spinal surgery. I’m almost ten weeks on from my second surgery but only found your channel about six weeks ago. I love your workouts and I feel they are really helping to strengthen my core and nip in my waist. Please don’t stop. Oh and any chance of a stability ball workout for beginners? The one for hips would be fab too 😊
Thanks for doing this. I got sick and I lost my muscle mass. I'm so weak even walking is hard. I do agree that keeping the back on the mat is key because no one's body is completely balanced, so when we're weak all those imbalances come out and one side takes over when we stand. Thank you again. I have the old Winsor Pilates tape that I have been considering starting to do maybe 2 or 3 times a week. This might be better.
I loved this work out! I've been doing your workouts for 3 weeks now and I'm 2 years postpartum just now trying to get my core back and I've seen such a difference in my mom pooch already! But I really have just genuinely fell in love with Pilates because of you! Thank you!
did this on my period because I was looking for something (low impact) that could still work the muscles without too much stress on the body. I appreciate your work, keep going
loved this one, sometimes i struggle with locking my abs into place for certain exercises and this forced me to take it slow and focus on doing just that 😁
This one I love bc of the leg stretches and the small lifts on all fours. Those were amazing this morning!! Also, my core has gotten so toned from repeating Day 1 of your core series and the resistance bands workouts with your mom. My favs so far! Thank you, Raven ❤
Love, love, love the small motion ab exercises, especially the challenging move when I had to push both my legs while crunching, that was a real burner! Jeeesh!
Loved the deep core activation at the start and the explanation of what you should feel, I definitely would love more core focused vids as my TA is my weakest point
Woah yooo.. everything hurts 😭 in a good way 😅 maybe it wasn't the wisest decision to do this workout after yesterday's intense HIIT because my abs cried out loud...but liked this and will also check out your other videos❤ my core definitely needs more attention (I'm 2 years postpartum and it's about time🥲)
Hi Raven! I only feel my neck exerting a lot of stress when I do move such as the ones from 14:00 to 15:30. My neck feels so tired and my core doesn’t feel anything at all. Is there something I can do to fix this?
I thought this workout was too light, and it was doing nothing on my core... 15 min. in and I had to run to the 🚽 and I already went today😂 Anyways, thank you Raven 🤣
I’m 6 months postpartum so maybe different than newly postpartum but I found this to be a perfect workout! It incorporates a lot of the same elements as my pelvic pt exercises I did during and immediately after pregnancy
This is exactly the type of workout I’ve been looking for! My lower back already feels less tight & my core is on fire ❤️🔥

This has happened to me before!!!!! And my PT gave me core exercises!

This was exactly what I've been needing! Would love more of these foundational slower vids to help build muscle from the ground up

Thank you Raven for explaining all the forms of your exercises!
I finally got the “scooping”
This video is really helpful for beginners!
loved this one, sometimes i struggle with locking my abs into place for certain exercises and this forced me to take it slow and focus on doing just that 😁
Thank you for this video.
I'm a few months post fibroid removal - it includes a few excercises that the physio recommended. Thank you ❤

Love, love, love the small motion ab exercises, especially the challenging move when I had to push both my legs while crunching, that was a real burner! Jeeesh!
That’s my fav!
Loved it Raven. Perfect explanations for newbies and an excellent refresher for those who are more used to the practice. My core feels sore already 😅

Loved this one!! Such a great mind body connection, the pace was awesome and learned so much from the cues!!☺️ Thanks for sharing!!❤
This was alot harder than I thought it seems. Really challenged my core and brought me back to basics. Thank you!
Loved the deep core activation at the start and the explanation of what you should feel, I definitely would love more core focused vids as my TA is my weakest point
Super great!!! Just found you and I love it !! Gonna continue! Thank you all the best ❤
Hi raven ! Loved this one. I'd like to see more deep core and strengthen like this one. I've picked up running again so anything that helps. Thank you

This was great but wish there weren’t 3 separate ad interruptions and the double ones too!!
LOVE
Hi Raven, how are you doing?
I thought this workout was too light, and it was doing nothing on my core... 15 min. in and I had to run to the 🚽 and I already went today😂 Anyways, thank you Raven 🤣
Is this postpartum friendly? Or too hardcore?
I’m 6 months postpartum so maybe different than newly postpartum but I found this to be a perfect workout! It incorporates a lot of the same elements as my pelvic pt exercises I did during and immediately after pregnancy
Yes! Very friendly!
Were you on a reality tv show because I feel like I saw you somewhere !
