Glad u bounced back. Good job n best wishes. Thanks for sharing. I m not doing Az fba because I think its a rip off due to all the investment and fees. I m doing dropping shipping and within a month I started to sell and into my 3rd month👍. Only downside us the very high fb ad cost. I m already looking into email marketing. All profit is mine 100%, no fees or uncertainty whatsoever ever😀👍👏👏.Az is only good for customers not for sellers.

Quick question, how do I know weather my brand logo is trademarked or not? For trademarked phrases I can search them up at USPO website and such but how do I "search up" weather my logo is taken it not ?

My 3 worst experiences have been
1 - having my second best listing suppressed and giving it all the information requested and still not be able to un suppress the listing. Seller support couldn't do it either so having to then create a removal order, delete the listing and start over from scratch again. Similar to your issue
2 - when I make changes to my listings and nothing happens so having to create a new listing from scratch to be able to have those better changes to my listing actually go into my listing
And 3 - getting all signed up with Avalara waiting for over 6 months to get my european VAT/IOSS& A European EORI Numbers, then sending my inventory to Germany and my stock getting stuck at customs and they say they can't tell me what charges I will have to pay until I after i fill out the power of otterny form. So I've had to get UPS to send the shipment back to me
Nightmares lol 🤣 I'm in the process of sending some inventory to the US and I'll figure out europe in the meantime

FBM is worst than FBA.
That's why I hate Amazon : you can win fastly and lose fastly. You don't have any control on your business and your are only an Amazon employee.

2016 I had $3,000 worth of bluetooth headphones customers were complaining they were falling apart even the ones I gave friends we're having problems luckily at the time Amazon free shipping four stranded stock I received them I gave them away as Christmas and birthday and any occasion presents . I figured better to lose the money then to have bad customer reviews on my first product doing a lot better with my other
products
My other option was to take them all and crazy glue the problem area decided against that still could have probably down the road that's my story

My worst experience was same as you faced. Copyright issue but luckily i got over it by editing some descption bullet points and images from my listing. İt was kind of a test listing so still learning :)

hi should I Get CPC for Baby Bibs which made from cotton to sell on Amazon?
Problem with Amazon is that the moment somebody makes an infringement claim, I'm not sure how much they investigate. The want the seller to do all the donkey work as I went through an infringement myself.
We sold video sunglasses for 5 years and built up the reviews . There are close to 400+ sellers in the same sub category. But only ours got removed stating "this is an audio and video surveying device" so it is against amazon policy . They removed it . It is been almost a year still fighting with amazon that when other people can sell the product why not us ?
I'm about to make a checklist, before launching any product.
Will review the product with the checklist every 2-3 months to avoid any issues.

The same thing happened to me. I had $60,000 of inventory in FBA when it was permanently shut down. Then when removing the inventory it disappeared in shipping and wasn't reimbursed.

@@user-xd5kt8md4o I ordered more inventory for a new product page and competition came in and my new listing got bad reviews. Had to liquidate all new inventory. It sounds bad but think about why I even had 60,000 USD of inventory to begin with. Easy 4 figures gross per day when everything was working
One question when this incident happened did you have your brand registered and was it on the products subject to this action?
Hi Dan, I have a product with good reviews but in my 3 shipment there was defective issue that let to high return rate and NCX which let to product removals and amazon deactivated the listing.
I have gotten the listing active again and changed what led to defective issue and removed the previous inventory.
Now I have new inventory, the same design but changed a little button to make it stronger. Do I use same listing with good reviews but high NCX or create a new listing and start to build momentum again that’s losing all the reviews.
What’s your advice?

@Sheri I was thinking that bringing in new one will correct the return rate and I can still use same listing with the same barcode that is already on the box. Also I have same item in uk and they are excellent rate, only US have this issue, same barcode.

You were lucky Amz let your have your inventory back. I've read of them keeping the inventory and destroying it.
Hi Dan, why not contest the infringement notice once you got your product changed/protected? Wouldn’t it be best to try to keep your listing?
Hey Zachary, the product was brand registered, it wasn't the brand name, it was a symbol on the product that I did not realize was protected as it is very common on these products and was on the manufacturer's base version. The only way to get the listing back was for the plaintiff to retract their complaint with Amazon, they were not willing to do that.

I have applied to GTIN exemption (for my brand name under clothing category) and i got approved and when i started to list my first product i got another error 5461 says i'm not eligible to add products. I went through application and gave all the proves and they replied that my brand name (that was approved on the GTIN exemption) is not selling clothing category. I don't know where is the problem since i applied for the exemption for the clothing category? pls advise

Hi Dan I had exactly the same situation 1 time. One of the millionaire company my competitor was trying to take me off the market. But after investigation they give me back listing. Because the company did not realize that I was selling from this listing before they came to the market.
You should’ve sue them instead! If you were first!

Have a product that sells really well, going out of stock for 3 months, not being able to return to that point where I was selling really well

@Sheri cause I selled way more quicker than I expected, and really underestimated the time of production of my next batch, causing 3 month of no stock,
My advice for myself or anyone would be to always have a stock buffer to avoid being out of stock
I launched my product and after 2 days I got my listing deactivated. It was the worst experience that I have had until now. It took me 4 weeks, a lot of money, and stress trying to reactivate the listing. I gave up on it and I created a new one and somehow I found somebody to help me to add the old inventory to the new listing. It was a lot of work, I still can't believe that I managed to do everything. Need to mention it was my first product :D

@@MaryamMaryam-rg7ny I used a prohibited keyword on the listing. I had a list with prohibited kws but this one wasn't on the list.
And took me a lot to figure out why they deactivated my listing, bc nobody answered to my emails, messages from the Amazon part.

Where can I validate if I have trademark issue with name in my product?

Cathy I would suggest rather being safe than sorry, you'd likely be okay until you're really selling well but worth changing it as you don't want to be "misusing" another company's mark.

I used all caps on two non-profanity words at the end of last paragraph and an exclamation point for emphasis....this may have been the problem.
