- Hi there, thanks for watching my video today. I decided to film snippets of what I did over this weekend as I had a lot of time to sew and have had a go at putting it all together. I hope you find it interesting, seeing how I spent my weekend and how I go about a project (or two). I will admit that very little in the way of housework was done this weekend! I am very lucky to have a husband and family that indulge me when I get the sewing bug 😂
I make some McCalls M5989 Pyjamas with last months #beyondthepinkdoor subscription box and also get some new Experimental Space Patterns to play with from Sew Me Sunshine and make the XS Lily top with the BTPD fabric that just arrived!

The top looks lovely the instruction are a bit lacking, I might cover it in more detail in my next video as I’m making another and it’s not just me not reading something properly (which I obviously do 😂) I do think it’s worth trying to figure it out for this though!

Good for you. Did you manage to make a skirt from the rest of the fabric?
@@brigitteusher5277 yes I did! I’ve actually made a dress, I created a tank top from an old tshirt and attached the remaining fabric to that and I tried the lily top over the tank dress with a belt and it still works as a coord set but now I also have another dress! I was thinking I’m more likely to wear a dress than a skirt😁
@@TheWillowtreeGreen it's brilliant what you do with the T shirts and attaching fabric to make another top. I think I might try that.
Often the bust and hip measurements are often printed on the tissue pattern pieces rather than the back of the envelope. Hope this helps in future.
