Yep. Get a lawyer. I have a severe anxiety disorder, maniac episodes, and am being diagnosed with DID. A ton of the signs that were pointed out are things I do when I get anxious, and that happens pretty easily.

@@MisterPuggles You know, I do too, because of anxiety. But the signs are definitely different in context. I wouldn't be nervous about the actual case because I'd know I was innocent, but I'd be anxious just talking to a police officer and sitting in an interrogation room lol. Any experienced interrogator would know the difference. (Also, this channel isn't super deep on the analysis so I wouldn't take that too seriously tbh, not everything is a red flag.)

I have a cousin who went prison for driving the car of his gang, which, that night, killed another gang member. That cousin had just gotten out of prison, after close to 25 years. I don't feel any sorry for the cousin; when you run around with killers, you should be punished, when your pals kill other human beings, gangs or not.
So, again, this brother of the killer getting 3 years of probation for working so hard to hide his brother's heinous murdering of a stranger who just happened to want to do some extra work for her children... it's outrageous.

You can't tell this fairy tale for an hour and then finally reveal "But well, not this time". As a side note, Reid technique sends people to jail so effectively, this could be pretty hard to find an interesting case where detectives tried hard and the innocent got away. Let's say I robbed a store after hours, thinking I had successfully sneaked in unseen, and took the surveillance camera with me. If I got arrested and interrogated (assuming I was dumb enough to talk without a lawyer present) , and the detective asked "What would you say if I told you there's a witness that can place you at the scene at the time of the robbery?".
I tell him to suck my dick, because either it's true or it's a bluff. If it's true It's a problem. If it's a bluff it's not a problem. The smart move to assume it's a bluff because and tell him to pound sand because that way you're not going to incriminate yourself.

If I did attempt to speak, I was interrupted or slapped and I've found that speaking to people even now in my 40s is extremely difficult. You should ask ESPECIALLY if you are innocent better still say nothing. Yes it’s easier said than done I know and you have to have faith (if you’re innocent) that the cops are honest and won’t make up stuff which they can legally do to obtain a confession. My fear would be they would go further and plant evidence or fabricate a case.

I feel shocked by how derailed and removed from reality, empathy, ethical thinking a human can get - and looking at history, genocides, war crimes, etc., many many people are well capable of such a lack of empathy once they believe it won't have consequences for them. Apparently, many people never get a basic education (from their parents) how to be a good and decent human and live an honourable life.
