They need a warrant to get your phone.its easy to say that's sloppy but if everything else is tight they'll never be seeing it(clearly in this case it wasn't though lol) And obviously never offer anything that would incriminate yourself.
But its not always as huge of a thing as it seems. The real mistake was them not getting rid of the dudes phone immediately.she should not have even had to text them that in the first place.it's more like the people she hired were incompetent. I would have destroyed his phone and left it there at the scene lolololol.

That's what made her suspect #1.
When I was younger 3 men broke into my parents home and our roommate was stabbed in the head. My older brother was in a youth treatment place and would come home before school at around 5:30-6am. When our roommate heard the knock at the door he figured it was my brother and opened the door. At that point I was sleeping on the living room floor. I had a guy point a gun at me and said don't get up while the other two stabbed our roommate. At that point my dogs came running downstairs which spooked the guys as they took off running.
My dogs chased them out the door but I suspect they jumped in a waiting car. I was so scared in the moment (I was 13) I could see our roommate in a puddle of blood. (He was my parents friend in his 30s). I heard him ask me for help but I didn't get up right away I wanted to make sure they were gone so I waited 3 min maybe but it felt like a year. I ran up to my parents room and said some guys broke in and steave was in a puddle of blood and my dogs were gone.
The only details of the guys I seen was
#1 they all had ski masks on.
#2. I heard them say "where where where"
#3. One had a gun pointed at me. I couldn't tell if it was semi auto or a revolver I seen the barrel and a black glove on his hand.
That's all I knew or seen. The cops drilled me and accused me or knowing these people. He kept saying we sold drugs out of the house which was false. We did live in a middle class neighborhood and the home next to us was a dealers house.
Fortunately our roommate lived. He had to get 9 staples in his head, and had multiple stab wounds in his stomach and chest. Our dogs were later found at a city pound. And the 3 that broke in were never caught. But they thought they knew who the people were due to them bragging about it to a ci. Since they had masks neither of us could pick the guys in a photo line up. And when they played their voices I couldn't be sure which it was and I didn't want someone who was innocent to get in trouble so I didn't pick anyone.
Anyways this is 100% truth. Now you can compare a innocent person dealing with a home invasion vs this girls.

Lying on the floor is a dead giveaway. So is putting head or face on the table or falling asleep. An innocent person would act as though everything in the room was electrified and be very alarmed to be confined there. They would not embrace the room like that and get so
physically intimate with it and so comfortable. That guilty people do so is a tell that they feel they belong there. I heard one detective call it "the guilty sleep" on "The First 48".

the funny part is when she was describing them cutting the shirt from the top down, instead of starting down going up, I thought it was suspicious, I just thought she actually did it herself and never took into account how a second person would do it. and not that she didn't even bother to do it.
why it's sus: it's easier to cut your shirt yourself from the top going down to apply the force of the blade opposite to you and against the fabric, but to cut it on another person is easier to start from the bottom to apply the force of the blade towards you and against the fabric with an extended arm, if you cut from the top you have to put extra strength because you have to contort your wrist.

Criminals tend to be lower intelligence and what they think is a full proof plan soon falls apart. These videos shows us how a lot of that happens, but for some one like a investigator they tend to see a lot more details than one lets on. The problem is you can't charge without hard proof and the best proof of a murder is a body and weapon. So he needed to get those two things.

She attempts to maintain that emotional, affected crying voice for far too long. No one, even people who may have just gone through a crazy traumatic experience, keeps speaking like this that long; eventually your muscles have to relax and your breathing has to slow down, your speaking returns to normal even as you talk about what just happened. This episode rocks.

Yeah, especially with the hair cutting part. She says a group of guys break into her home, pistol whip her husband, strip her, and then say something poetic like "here, as a wife you should have a piece of your husband" before cutting off a few locks of hair. That sounds like something a teenage girl would write in her fan fiction. I'm not saying no man would ever, ever say that because drugs make anything possible, but that doesn't sound like something a guy would do in the middle of beating a husband in front of his wife. They allegedly wanted money from HIM, but this gesture was entirely to intimidate HER in a particularly feminine and dramatic way. A violent male would be more likely to instead threaten to break fingers or stab someone to get the husband to cooperate, assuming they weren't willing to actually torture her in front of him. She didn't realize that in her made-up narrative she was a means to an end, not the primary target. She really seemed to think that'd help sell her story but it further broke any suspension of disbelief I might have had.

Asking specific questions about the officers gun, ones that most people who know nothing about guns would never ask, then she says I don't know much about guns so I wanted to compare yours to the gun the guy had...😂

I know a girl who claimed her husband hit her. Turned out she was hitting him in the chest repeatedly & when he tried to push her off he got her in the cheek. The next day she was trying to give me the "I didn't deserve it" story. She acted out what she was doing before he "hit" her by doing it "lightly" to me. I remember thinking that kinda hurt even though she claimed she wasn't doing it very hard on me. I don't believe men should hit women but if a women gets into a physical altercation with a man & the only way he can get her off is to do it forcefully such as a push, shove, or slap then I don't blame the guy, as long as he doesn't continue after he's gotten her off him. She left the guy & started telling everyone how he hit her, leaving out the part about her hitting him. It also became evident in other things she did that she was a bit of a narsacist. Women like this are the reason truthful women are scrutinize so much & doubted when they claim abuse.

For her to be texting her accomplice when the police are literally investigating everything right next to her is the smartest move I've ever heard of! 😂

She clearly lives in her own world. In her world, she deserves fame and stardom… when she randomly pointed out to the police officers how peculiar it was that she dialed the phone with her nose when they first arrived, it was like she was already imaging recounting the situation in an interview where she would be seen as a courageous, quick thinking victim
