I never was fortunate enough to know either of my grandmothers. My parents had me late in life & they lived so far away & neither had phones back then. So blessed was this little prick & she probably would’ve given him what he wanted if he had just asked!😢

At 15 I was into gangs, stabbed a rival who was 28 and just got out of San Quentin. He lived thank God but I was on a bad path. Ended up in San Quentin myself. All in all I served 13 yrs in installments, you know 4yrs here, 5 years there but by 32 I was done and turned my life around. Now I work as a youth mentor and peer support specialist using my lived experience to effect a positive change within the hearts and minds of all who I come into contact with. It kills me to see these kids make choices that there ain’t no coming back from. Kids think like kids and have no idea that one day they’ll grow up and not be the same person. We all grow, mature and change. Unfortunately for some it’s too late, the damage they caused is irreversible. I was them, thank God I was blessed with a chance yo turn it around. I’m married, have kids and speak at schools and institutions. I been home 20 yrs married 18 yrs and working in children’s mental health for 15yrs !

This woman just walked into an absolutely horrific scene of her mom and the neighbor is obviously and understandably traumatized as well and the dispatcher cops an attitude??? I’ve listened to so many of these calls and I praise all the dispatchers who keep their calm and treat the callers with compassion and understanding 💗
To be fair they are trained to be that way. Their job is not to comfort you, but to get relevant information as quickly as possible and dispatch it to the right people, cutting through all the panic and confusion, as every second may count.

A friend in my teenage years got so drunk he walked into a strangers house and slept on the couch. The old woman woke him up, made him breakfast and proceeded to have an hours long conversation about human behavior, consequences and lessons she’d learned over her almost 80 years of living. She didn’t call the police and he’s lucky she didnt, she chose to be kind and use the opportunity to educate him. It completely changed the road he was going down and all of us were impacted by it as well. I still to this day hope (most likely not alive anymore) that she knew what an impact that made on not one but several 18 years olds at the time. Now had he been a narcissistic mop head like this bum it wouldn’t have had an impact.

To even give a contrasting experience while still not resulting in violence: my great grandmother was a horrible woman. She was cruel, manipulative, and selfish. We argued a lot because I wouldn’t tolerate her saying awful things about other relatives. Never once did I give a thought to harming her. I did chores for her and held her arm as she walked when she was too frail to walk unsupported. She was a monster until the day she died, but violence never crossed my mind. It takes someone so cruel and cold to commit an atrocity like this.

My grandmother, who ultimately became very, very difficult, and who had put her in the home at 90+ (great grandma really hurt her when she kicked her in the belly. In fairness to GG, she thought grandma was her own abusive mother. She was sure that MY mother was my grandmother, and ADORED her). Grandma would come to ensure that she was fed, because they did not like doing that apparently. She passed when I was 7, almost 50 years ago. NO ONE (well not the relatives) thought about killing her. Also though, none o9f us were that form of mentally defective.

My great grandma will be 102 this August. She's outlived her entire family and lived through the great depression, World War 2, and the Civil Rights Movement. More kids today are depressed , on psych meds , have some type of mental health issues like anxiety self deletion ideation, don’t see a purpose in life but self gratification, are rebellious against authority , and they don’t have a firm level of consequences … natural or imposed …for their actions before it gets to the point of danger for themselves or those around them. I lost my grandma in 2019, so 3 and a half years ago. When me and the family talk about her, I know it sounds a tad heartless, but we were glad that she died in 2019. As she was suffering from Dementia and just wouldn't have understood the rules about Covid. This would have damaged everyone including our Grandma. So when this Episode began, I immediately looked at my grandma's picture and felt a wave of both disgust and a level of Anger that went beyond the level of that particular word and more into a brief Berserk Fury. I feel untold amounts of sympathy for the women in question and all members of that family who weren't a part of what happened. What those two fools did was unfortunately typical of humans, as Animals don't kill for monetary reasons. Sorry this seems like a long winded talk, it's just both sad to talk about her and I wrote from my heart to cleanse my negative emotions about watching this video.

Hell look at those British kids who were even younger that abducted and murdered a toddler. Or the 12 year old Japanese girl who razored her friend to death at school. It's crazy. Same goes with kids doing drugs at like 11. It blows my mind. I feel this kid might have had a chaotic upbringing, since he had a great grandma that was only 78. So she became one at 65. So this family was having kids in their teens every single generation. This can lead to a ton of issues with raising the kids and poverty since the parents are kids themselves without much life skills to raise kids. Add that up for generations and you end up with messed up kids who are 13 yet have a history with police and having a social worker. His mom was probably hardly a mother to him, and God only knows where the father is. This is the issue that many inner city poor black kids face and why it's so hard to fix it. Single moms having kids at like 16 for generations leads to very little accumulated wealth and parenting knowledge. Each generation ends up in a worse spot than the last, with a least stable environment each time until there's no structure in these kids lives, no lessons of right and wrong, no discipline or learning how to grow up. It's really sad and highlights how important protection and proper judgment is when you're young and first having sexual relations. So yeah considering he was in shelter care, had history with cops, and such a young great grandma leads me to believe he wasn't a "normal kid" when it comes to upbringing, which could have caused a ton of anger within him. Whatever caused it, kids a monster and belongs in prison for a very long time.

The prerequisite for being an operator is being actually willing to apply for the job, and then listen to horrible stuff all day mixed in with people calling over complete bull and verbally abusing you. @@6kjr They can be raised properly and still end up criminals. There’s plenty of cases of children who had no family issues, but the child simply hangs out with the wrong friend group. Which is something out of the parents control. If the parents start controlling every little thing their child does and becomes overbearing. That is a case waiting to happen as well. Things simply are out of our control. Sometimes raising them right doesn’t do it, because there isn’t a perfect way to do it.
The whole thing is absolutely horrifying, but when his friend talked about her "snoring" i just know that was her dying and her most likely gargling on her own blood. My dad passed away recently and there is something called "death rattle" which is what happens when someone dies only hers probably would have been amplified with the blood. I will never forget that sound. It still haunts me. I had leaned in to let my dad know that i will never forget him and while my son isnt old enough to remember him, i would be sure that he would know about him. He passed away a few minutes after that.
I keep thinking about my sweet grandmother making sure we were all fed. We were poor and couldn't afford the stuff we wanted as teenagers but she made sure that we were loved and taken cared of when we visited her.
He was so calm for his age, he really thought about every answer before he gave one… it’s chilling. This definitely wouldn’t have been his last time killing. Poor lady. She didn’t deserve that.
Trauma to the brain certainly can cause the personality shift he experienced, from my second-hand experience at least living with someone who it happened to. My step-father ended up having a motorcycle accident where he hit his head, and subsequently had a stroke following that accident. Ever since then, he was never the same. He slowly descended into madness with apathy and aggression. One day, he opened fire with a gun in his room. My mother came running over and said "You better not be shooting holes in my house!" and was about to open his door, but decided against it. She and the dog escaped the house and went to the neighbors. She called me and I arrived to see the house surrounded by police, he was still inside with the gun. After what seemed like forever with them trying to contact him, another shot rang out and we knew it was over. The police tried to contact him for another 30 minutes or so before storming in there. After this was all done, I helped clean up the room and rip out some carpet. They don't tell you about that part, the cops do nothing to clean up a scene... I noticed that behind the pictures on his wall, there was writing. I started removing the pictures and found all sorts of sickening mentally ill ramblings as well as threats to my mother. I checked his phone and saw he was talking to other people about killing her, and I knew if she opened that door that day, she would have been dead. He was never violent before, but we all saw the change happen before our very eyes. He refused help and just kept getting stoned all the time. I always viewed him as a scumbag, but he certainly wasn't like this before the accident. But after the accident he was always calm, even when he shouldn't be... Guess that's a sign.
Yep, one or both of them would have killed again if not caught going into their adulthood. Once you kill someone innocent for a selfish reason you will kill again.
My great grandma made it until I was 22, she died last year just before Christmas. Everyone was devastated, there wasn’t a single person in my family who didn’t describe her as an absolute gem- “A rose of a woman” as my dad called her. She was so kind to me, always making sure to offer me food, a jacket, money- she bought my favorite books anytime she found them at yard sales. I cannot even begin to fathom ever attacking her for some mere pocket change, these boys are absolute monsters, it takes a special kind of evil to do what they did so mercilessly- not a breath of remorse in her great grandson.

I had a friend who was strangled to death my her own 17 year old daughter & boyfriend. Then they buried her in a shallow grave after having her dead under the bed a few days while taking care of the younger 8yr old sister. Then they still moved the body to a different location while lying to everyone concerned & police sifting money & sympathy. They got life which is 25yr atleast...

The dispatch lady could have showed any amount of sympathy. This woman found her mother on the garage floor covered in blood an called the police for the dispatch lady to get snippy. Why do you need to know if she’s breathing. Send an ambulance
I agree she was snippy and it was unnecessary but dispatch needs to know if the person is breathing or not so they can then instruct the caller on the next life saving measures to take (like CPR or a tourniquet to stop bleeding) But I agree the dispatch woman was rude and inconsiderate in this case.
The fact that she keeps talking on the phone does not mean she hasnt activated the ambulance call. She only has to make couple of clicks in the computer to send a request and it's another operator who actually calls the ambulance while she stays on the line with the caller acquiring more information. Well , normally that's how it is done. She is typing and clicking few buttons; another operator is in charge of passing the request on to the parademics. If I should point out a mistake here, it'd be she not informing that help was already on the way; she could have clarified that.
Honestly the manager of that 911 operator should be held accountable for either hiring that person, or not putting her on a PIP. For her to speak to that woman like that is deplorable. She more than likely wasn't a good fit for the position. This is not the type of work where you overlook that kind of thing.
She sounds annoyed that they were asking her for an update. Also, "Just have the neighbour look" when she's been told there's blood all over, she's covered by a blanket and not moving. All sings that she's dead, and graphically to. Just give the neighbour trauma for no good reason

when i was around 12, i was doing my grandmas makeup while staying at her house. i didnt have makeup brushes, so instead i was using regular paint brushes. when i was doing her eyeshadow i accidentally poked her in the eye with the brush. i felt bad for an entire week and was constantly apologizing. i cant fathom killing a person close to u and having absolutely no remorse.

We don't know why he didn't like being there nor do we know what he told her to even make her consider him staying at her place. He could have easily said something like "they're abusing me" (which is common in shelters) which would naturally make someone let a child stay at there place if they think they're being mistreated at home/shelter
I adored my grandma. Grandma and grandpa were my anchors during my unstable childhood. I stayed with them every summer. Grandma was the one who taught me to read and cherish books, she taught me how to cook, to can, and all the other things I would need in life. Her death destroyed me for many years. This case saddens me greatly.

I’m the same age as these kids and in 2012-13 being 13/14 years old I remember riding my bike, fishing with friends, setting off fireworks and running around the neighborhood. I was 12 or 13 and I was on a trampoline with my friend and I accidentally landed on his arm and it broke. That was almost 16 years ago, still haunts me to this day. I still feel terrible about it. From how young they where and still have no remorse from what they did. I can never imagine

It's more like they're checking for patterns where the suspect can remember things in detail from many weeks/months ago but not from most recent events, specially in the span of days the crime happened
She seemed like such a loving woman. I, and many others, would be blessed to have someone like this in our lives. The fact her great grandson referred to her body as “it” multiple times is sickening. This is so unbelievably sad.
There was something deeply horrifying to me about how Nate described the grandmother as "starting to snore" because deep down, I recognize that sound. It's hard to forget how it sounds.. Agonal breathing - a reflex purely controlled by the brain stem as the body's last ditch effort to get oxygen to the brain. Usually when you hear that, the person is as good as dead. When I was 15, not only did I steal a few of my grandma's Xanax, I stole a bunch of cash from her while I was blacked out. I've never truly forgiven myself. Obviously I gave it all back and had some of the most embarrassing conversations of my life afterwards trying to explain myself. I'm 30 and it still bothers me. What's wrong with these kids now?
A traumatic brain injury can seriously alter brain chemistry! I’m not forgiving Tino, just explaining “what’s wrong with these kids now”. It’s super common among serial killers that they’ve experienced serious head trauma at a young age.

At 15 I was into gangs, stabbed a rival who was 28 and just got out of San Quentin. He lived thank God but I was on a bad path. Ended up in San Quentin myself. All in all I served 13 yrs in installments, you know 4yrs here, 5 years there but by 32 I was done and turned my life around. Now I work as a youth mentor and peer support specialist using my lived experience to effect a positive change within the hearts and minds of all who I come into contact with. It kills me to see these kids make choices that there ain’t no coming back from. Kids think like kids and have no idea that one day they’ll grow up and not be the same person. We all grow, mature and change. Unfortunately for some it’s too late, the damage they caused is irreversible. I was them, thank God I was blessed with a chance yo turn it around. I’m married, have kids and speak at schools and institutions. I been home 20 yrs married 18 yrs and working in children’s mental health for 15yrs !

This woman just walked into an absolutely horrific scene of her mom and the neighbor is obviously and understandably traumatized as well and the dispatcher cops an attitude??? I’ve listened to so many of these calls and I praise all the dispatchers who keep their calm and treat the callers with compassion and understanding 💗
To be fair they are trained to be that way. Their job is not to comfort you, but to get relevant information as quickly as possible and dispatch it to the right people, cutting through all the panic and confusion, as every second may count.

A friend in my teenage years got so drunk he walked into a strangers house and slept on the couch. The old woman woke him up, made him breakfast and proceeded to have an hours long conversation about human behavior, consequences and lessons she’d learned over her almost 80 years of living. She didn’t call the police and he’s lucky she didnt, she chose to be kind and use the opportunity to educate him. It completely changed the road he was going down and all of us were impacted by it as well. I still to this day hope (most likely not alive anymore) that she knew what an impact that made on not one but several 18 years olds at the time. Now had he been a narcissistic mop head like this bum it wouldn’t have had an impact.

To even give a contrasting experience while still not resulting in violence: my great grandmother was a horrible woman. She was cruel, manipulative, and selfish. We argued a lot because I wouldn’t tolerate her saying awful things about other relatives.
Never once did I give a thought to harming her. I did chores for her and held her arm as she walked when she was too frail to walk unsupported. She was a monster until the day she died, but violence never crossed my mind.

Grandma would come to ensure that she was fed, because they did not like doing that apparently. She passed when I was 7, almost 50 years ago. Once she’s no longer able to have impact on his current world (move, run, exist, whatever) his brain checks it off as a task done. It’s no longer “grandma” and it’s just a body to him, sure it’s hers, but from his pov he already disassociated her from her body. I can’t say that’s exactly the case, however it’s more than likely so. If it had really bothered him, he wouldn’t have used “It”, he more than likely would have completely avoided the question or broke down in hysteria and plead. My great grandma will be 102 this August. She's outlived her entire family and lived through the great depression, World War 2, and the Civil Rights Movement. I lost my grandma 1 1/2 years ago I’d give anything to see and hug her one more time. Seeing this is heartbreaking.
Lost my Grannymoo (unexpectedly) in September and I’m right there with you! I’d give just about anything to have one hug and conversation with her. You have to wonder if these kids (especially her great grandson) went through some kind of trauma to make them not quite right, or if dude was just born a psychopath because, wtaf?!

I lost my grandma in 2019, so 3 and a half years ago. When me and the family talk about her, I know it sounds a tad heartless, but we were glad that she died in 2019. As she was suffering from Dementia and just wouldn't have understood the rules about Covid. This would have damaged everyone including our Grandma. So when this Episode began, I immediately looked at my grandma's picture and felt a wave of both disgust and a level of Anger that went beyond the level of that particular word and more into a brief Berserk Fury. I feel untold amounts of sympathy for the women in question and all members of that family who weren't a part of what happened. What those two fools did was unfortunately typical of humans, as Animals don't kill for monetary reasons. Sorry this seems like a long winded talk, it's just both sad to talk about her and I wrote from my heart to cleanse my negative emotions about watching this video.
Exactly what I was thinking. We lost our grandma to corona and every single grandchild was torn apart by it including my little brothers I could never imagine them hurting her in any way. This lady deserved so much better

It's crazy. Same goes with kids doing drugs at like 11. It blows my mind. I feel this kid might have had a chaotic upbringing, since he had a great grandma that was only 78. So she became one at 65. So this family was having kids in their teens every single generation. This can lead to a ton of issues with raising the kids and poverty since the parents are kids themselves without much life skills to raise kids. Add that up for generations and you end up with messed up kids who are 13 yet have a history with police and having a social worker. His mom was probably hardly a mother to him, and God only knows where the father is.
This is the issue that many inner city poor black kids face and why it's so hard to fix it. Single moms having kids at like 16 for generations leads to very little accumulated wealth and parenting knowledge. Each generation ends up in a worse spot than the last, with a least stable environment each time until there's no structure in these kids lives, no lessons of right and wrong, no discipline or learning how to grow up. It's really sad and highlights how important protection and proper judgment is when you're young and first having sexual relations.
So yeah considering he was in shelter care, had history with cops, and such a young great grandma leads me to believe he wasn't a "normal kid" when it comes to upbringing, which could have caused a ton of anger within him. Whatever caused it, kids a monster and belongs in prison for a very long time.

I’m convinced that the prerequisite for being an operator is an uncanny ability to transform into a piece of shit when it’s time to actually do your job.
The prerequisite for being an operator is being actually willing to apply for the job, and then listen to horrible stuff all day mixed in with people calling over complete bull and verbally abusing you. In this case they have a person who might still be alive and moments from irrecoverable death and she wants someone to go and see if they are breathing and they are wasting time.

@@6kjr They can be raised properly and still end up criminals. There’s plenty of cases of children who had no family issues, but the child simply hangs out with the wrong friend group. Which is something out of the parents control. If the parents start controlling every little thing their child does and becomes overbearing. That is a case waiting to happen as well. Things simply are out of our control. Sometimes raising them right doesn’t do it, because there isn’t a perfect way to do it.
The whole thing is absolutely horrifying, but when his friend talked about her "snoring" i just know that was her dying and her most likely gargling on her own blood. My dad passed away recently and there is something called "death rattle" which is what happens when someone dies only hers probably would have been amplified with the blood. I will never forget that sound. It still haunts me. I had leaned in to let my dad know that i will never forget him and while my son isnt old enough to remember him, i would be sure that he would know about him. He passed away a few minutes after that.
I keep thinking about my sweet grandmother making sure we were all fed. We were poor and couldn't afford the stuff we wanted as teenagers but she made sure that we were loved and taken cared of when we visited her.

Trauma to the brain certainly can cause the personality shift he experienced, from my second-hand experience at least living with someone who it happened to. My step-father ended up having a motorcycle accident where he hit his head, and subsequently had a stroke following that accident. Ever since then, he was never the same. He slowly descended into madness with apathy and aggression. One day, he opened fire with a gun in his room. My mother came running over and said "You better not be shooting holes in my house!" and was about to open his door, but decided against it. She and the dog escaped the house and went to the neighbors. She called me and I arrived to see the house surrounded by police, he was still inside with the gun. After what seemed like forever with them trying to contact him, another shot rang out and we knew it was over. The police tried to contact him for another 30 minutes or so before storming in there.
After this was all done, I helped clean up the room and rip out some carpet. They don't tell you about that part, the cops do nothing to clean up a scene... I noticed that behind the pictures on his wall, there was writing. I started removing the pictures and found all sorts of sickening mentally ill ramblings as well as threats to my mother. I checked his phone and saw he was talking to other people about killing her, and I knew if she opened that door that day, she would have been dead. He was never violent before, but we all saw the change happen before our very eyes. He refused help and just kept getting stoned all the time. I always viewed him as a scumbag, but he certainly wasn't like this before the accident. But after the accident he was always calm, even when he shouldn't be... Guess that's a sign.
Yep, one or both of them would have killed again if not caught going into their adulthood. Once you kill someone innocent for a selfish reason you will kill again.

My great grandma made it until I was 22, she died last year just before Christmas. Everyone was devastated, there wasn’t a single person in my family who didn’t describe her as an absolute gem- “A rose of a woman” as my dad called her. She was so kind to me, always making sure to offer me food, a jacket, money- she bought my favorite books anytime she found them at yard sales. I cannot even begin to fathom ever attacking her for some mere pocket change, these boys are absolute monsters, it takes a special kind of evil to do what they did so mercilessly- not a breath of remorse in her great grandson.
The case is just devastating and heartbreaking, such a pure sweet soul of hers.

The dispatch lady could have showed any amount of sympathy. This woman found her mother on the garage floor covered in blood an called the police for the dispatch lady to get snippy. Why do you need to know if she’s breathing. Send an ambulance
I agree she was snippy and it was unnecessary but dispatch needs to know if the person is breathing or not so they can then instruct the caller on the next life saving measures to take (like CPR or a tourniquet to stop bleeding)
But I agree the dispatch woman was rude and inconsiderate in this case.

The fact that she keeps talking on the phone does not mean she hasnt activated the ambulance call. She only has to make couple of clicks in the computer to send a request and it's another operator who actually calls the ambulance while she stays on the line with the caller acquiring more information. Well , normally that's how it is done. She is typing and clicking few buttons; another operator is in charge of passing the request on to the parademics. If I should point out a mistake here, it'd be she not informing that help was already on the way; she could have clarified that.
Honestly the manager of that 911 operator should be held accountable for either hiring that person, or not putting her on a PIP. For her to speak to that woman like that is deplorable. She more than likely wasn't a good fit for the position. This is not the type of work where you overlook that kind of thing.
I use to think Human resources people were the dumbest of the dumb until I heard 911 dispatchers. Bottom of the barrel.

when i was around 12, i was doing my grandmas makeup while staying at her house. i didnt have makeup brushes, so instead i was using regular paint brushes. when i was doing her eyeshadow i accidentally poked her in the eye with the brush. i felt bad for an entire week and was constantly apologizing. i cant fathom killing a person close to u and having absolutely no remorse.

Secondly he ran form the shelter because he didn't like being there which is why he ran. We don't know why he didn't like being there nor do we know what he told her to even make her consider him staying at her place. He could have easily said something like "they're abusing me" (which is common in shelters) which would naturally make someone let a child stay at there place if they think they're being mistreated at home/shelter
I adored my grandma. Grandma and grandpa were my anchors during my unstable childhood. I stayed with them every summer. Grandma was the one who taught me to read and cherish books, she taught me how to cook, to can, and all the other things I would need in life. Her death destroyed me for many years. This case saddens me greatly.

The only "dangerous" things I did in my childhood was probably steal from stores. I had a little bit of klepto but I got passed that part of my life and left it behind. Your "friends" really do influence you to do wrong.
The most violent thing I did was practice throwing cringey comicon ninja stars at trees and stuff like wtf is with these kids
I was 12 or 13 and I was on a trampoline with my friend and I accidentally landed on his arm and it broke. That was almost 16 years ago, still haunts me to this day. I still feel terrible about it. From how young they where and still have no remorse from what they did. I can never imagine

You wont be in dept for something like that. Not even when you have cancer since that is covered by the health insurance. Sometimes you still have to pay a bit but its not really that much and most people can afford it

It's more like they're checking for patterns where the suspect can remember things in detail from many weeks/months ago but not from most recent events, specially in the span of days the crime happened

I don't feel the need to and even if I did I probably would refrain from it because I know the negative consequences that will most likely arise from it. Also it seems messy and I have no incentive to commit crime, I'm well off and like to keep to myself most of the time, as you can probably understand yourself. But then again I do believe I would be quite capable of it if I were to be put in a cage with another person without any food for a couple of days, as most would I imagine.

When I was 15, not only did I steal a few of my grandma's Xanax, I stole a bunch of cash from her while I was blacked out. I've never truly forgiven myself.
