25 & pregnant with my first & this will be my last. I couldn’t imagine going through this again. Your body goes through so so much during pregnancy. I really am amazed at women who have one than one child, I know deep in my soul my husband & I will only have one & our little family will be more than enough for us. ♥️
I have a 10 year old daughter, she’s an only child and will remain one, for my spouse and I! I knew my entire pregnancy I only wanted one, so I highly advise that you ENJOY ENJOY ENJOY you’re pregnancy because it’s only once (if you’re serious about just having one) Our relationship with our daughter is so close, they grow tremendously fast in a blink of an eye. Of course she’ll always be our baby girl but enjoy enjoy enjoy! Congratulations. Welcome to motherhood!
As a 30 Year old only child, who is married and now has four of her own , I feel that it made me a strong mother who knows what individual attention feels like and being spoiled rotten. Don’t ever regret the decision to have one child. You’ve taught that one child how to love unconditionally and fully. I feel that I am too affectionate with my children at times lol. I have an amazingly strong relationship with my my parents, and the children see that and I mirror that 🤷🏿♀️ everything happens for a reason.
@@Mayrita77 you aren't look into support groups on Facebook they've helped me alot feel not alone. And how it's okay society does not get to dictate how many kids I have. I had siblings very close and age and we fought and I always felt lonely. So it doesn't matter what matters is the parents love. I love my child and she's never even asked for a sibling. One and done on Facebook or one and done on the fence are good support groups. Accept what we have, stay positive, and do the best we can 💜
I was an only and I wasn't lonely. Its ike asking someone with just boys if they're sad they dont have girls. Or asking someone who lives in New York if they're sad they dont live in LA. It's your life.
This made me feel so much better about my situation. Always wanted more kids. Was blessed to have just one. Experienced fertility problems after number one and couldnt get pregnant again. Finally have come to terms with having just one child and hearing stories of other women like these ones makes me feel so much better and helps me realize how happy i already am with my one child. :-)
Any number of children is a blessing. I haven't been settled enough for years due to moving to new areas and not living there long, which has been a hindrance in my developing lasting relationships. Because of this, I have no children and as I'm getting older, once I do become better situated, I will likely have one child, a blessing. Any beyond that will be pure luck.
Only children are more mature for sure cos they spend more time with their parents. I have only one child and I suffer with guilt. But to see this makes me happy
I am so proud to be a mom of an only child but that doesn't mean it comes without its challenges including with my mental health. That is why I love life coaching since it has changed my life in so many ways❤️ Amanda Burrows Coaching
I have one child and after my son 4 miscarriages. I felt very guilty, that i can't give him a brother or sister. It's society pressure. I feel blessed with him❤, and my great husband❤

Truth- at age 16 my mom and I were in the car and she told me what life lesson she learned at almost 40 years old- what was funny is that I had that same epiphany of the exact same life lesson, just the week before she told me she just realized it. 😅 so yeah, I agree with the emotional maturity. Had a really hard time relating intellectually to kids my own age in the 4th grade- they wanted to send me ahead grades but my mom said no. Lol
@Sara Cunningham well in a away, kids should outlive their parents, while parents should never outlive their kids , evolutionary speaking ... therefore ,in my case, with a big loving family of grandparents and cousins around ,I'm slightly less worried
How can one child be smarter. Who are you comparing them to. And if they have siblings it challenges them. It works for some people. I like the quite home but I know others that like multiple children. Where is the pic of the lady that has a daughter?

Didn't you feel alone growing up an only child? I have an only child and I can't stop thinking I'm ruining my kid's life by not having another one 😢

Watching this a second time. 2 years later. Haha. I truly enjoy this interview, the laughter in the room and genuine conversation between these mamas.
I'm 21 with a 1 year old. She's my 1st and only child. I don't have the desire to be pregnant again & don't want to start over.

I have one and I love having a close relationship with my daughter.
one, done and delighted!
Look at them aging gracefully 😍😍
Only who has an only because I actually loved my childhood
What did you love about your upbringing?

Thanks for making this video. It definitely helped me evaluate my own situation in the world. 🌎👍
As an only child I can say I find people with siblings to be competitive and oblivious. Just sayin'
I have 5 siblings. I would have loved to be an only child.😢
I’m pregnant now and I couldn’t do it again. My husband doesn’t understand but I don’t care
Same here
Your husband doesn't care, that's why. It's not HIS body going through all those changes and pain. You are just his incubator.
I have one , and thanks for reminding me how hard it was 😆

Great segment
"Whatever brooks wants brooks gets" ya had me laughing there haha. Brilliant conversations ❤❤ thanks
I'm a 52 year old only child, no kids. Not having any. I'm a stand up comedian and happy.
❤❤❤❤❤this ❤
It all depends on how parents treat them I know smart lonely children and less smart. Spoiled one and non spoiled ones
💛💛💛💛💛💛
I want be a mom of 1 kid as well, but i am afraid if my child turns 20 and passes away? What will i do then?
You could have 5 kids that can all die in a car crash at the same time. This is an irrational fear, we can't guarantee anything in life unfortunately
yes!! for some reason this is something i think about it too!! totally get it, but i think i ll stick with just my son

I'm an only child and it sucks.
Get another one it's never too late

Where is the pic of the lady that has a daughter?
Are you sure about that?
The black mom looks weirded out by the white ladies and their sons when she has a daughter and seems okay with it.
Yeah I have a daughter and other people have more of a problem with it than I do
