Hello everyone! Today I am reviewing an excited new brand from Hungary called Passus. The shoes were sent to me by a viewer so they are not mine. I have no affiliation with him, Passus nor I retail them in The Noble Shoe. My opinion is my own.

The Tom is a nice looking Derby on the 2000 Last, which is unfortunately very narrow so you need to size up half from your regular. Take your usual Gaziano & Girling TG73 or Deco size, or your Chisel 2/Soft Square Antonio Meccariello.
Hand-welted, Hand-lasted, Hand-sewn for $900, the Passus is a great "value" shoe for that money and has a wood pegged waist.

Oh Kostas my man! That looked like a shoe made from a sea creature at the end. Something I actually considered purchasing and I know of only one place to get them. Anxiously waiting on that one!
That’s a pair of stingrays! Glad you stayed until the end! It’s an amazing piece of art and skill! With quite the price tag too heh. I will try to record this for next week!

Excellent review. I wonder about that tan lining if it was intended to be more visible as a design aspect or something they hadn't considered. To me it appears a purposeful touch of contrast. Curious if they replied about that?
Thanks Mike. I think it’s purposeful. If you see the lining seems to be a little thicker and overextend at the top of the shoe where the uppers begin. I would have simply dyed it black in this case.

You didn;t tell that the heel is seamless .That is very hard to do in shoes industry. For exemple shoe makers asking more than 900 dollars more to make the heel seamless and this shoe as a whole is 900 dollars. Very good review though.
Hi Nikola, I probably mentioned it in my written review. But yes it’s a great detail. My other pair from them is a really nice shoe too!
