      Thanks! He is but there is a lot of things he wish he would have done differently if he would have only known what he knows now.

    Hi Tim.
    Great video. I lost my dad to cancer in 2008. I’m praying for God to heal your dad

      Thanks Johnathan! Sorry about your dad. Cancer is an awful disease that I hope and pray will see a cure.
      Stay tuned. More videos on the way. I’m sure the 242 will see a lot of operation. It’s one of my best running models.

    My Father had prostate cancer and my brother is fighting it now. I’ve had melanoma, so appreciate your cancer awareness locomotive. Nice update, locomotives sound and run great!

    Very enjoyable video Tim, I love the diversity of your locomotive color schemes. Prayers and positive thoughts for your dad. I too, am a prostate cancer survivor. Tell him to kept a positive attitude, it's one day at a time, and working on my layout and watching your video expose are things that keep me going!

    Tim, that 242 looks great , What you did for your dad on that locomotive is just awesome. And cancer awareness.
    Great video Tim, and i herd that the 3019 is heading out on the ALTLAC via on the BNSF to Los Angeles
    Highball on the air.

    Tim, l really like the idea of naming the locomotive after your dad, what a great way to honor him! I’m sorry to hear what he, and your family is going through with the cancer, but glad to hear he still with you and doing well. Enjoy the time that God has given you and your family with him!
    That GP40-2 looks like an ex-Reading unit with those rain gutters over the cab window, is it?
    Thanks for all the videos, I have really enjoyed them!

    As always, your modeling and operations are fantastic! I'll miss seeing that "pumpkin" Dash 2, though. The second hand units were one of the most realistic things I noticed early on. And 242 is a great tribute to your Dad. He, and your family, are in my prayers.

    I pray your Dad recovers Tim. Great video! Tim, do you ever get through Southern Indiana on the train? I see quite a few NS locomotives around here, I have a DCC ready GP 40-2 with the beautiful horse logo on the side, it was hard to find a GP with that logo, but I have seen some running.

    • @SeaboardCentral
      @SeaboardCentral  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks! No, the way are agreements on NS works is by seniority district. You get hired to work on a specific district. My district is between Atlanta, GA and Greenville, SC but we do have some inter-divisional runs that go from Atlanta to Linwood, NC.

    i would like to see more of your camera work with the lens at railfan height instead of layout visitor height.

    • @SeaboardCentral
      @SeaboardCentral  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I try to do both. I like the railfan height too. Some people want to see more of the layout so I try to make a compromise.

    My dad is battling lung cancer, and my mom died if bone cancer in 2019. Cancer is the scourge of our time. Wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. We need a cure, not just treatments like the drug companies prefer to make.

    • @SeaboardCentral
      @SeaboardCentral  ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry to hear that. I have had aunts and uncles who have died from the same. It is devastating for those and I am so sorry about what you have gone through. The doctors told my father that his came from processed foods that contained nitrates and nitrites. So I definitely avoid those like the plague in my diet. But yes, you are absolutely right about the drug industry. It wouldn’t be in their benefit to actually solve these issues. I believe with proper education on how to avoid exposure to harmful substances and chemicals along with maintaining a healthy diet we can avoid dependence on them and live a long life.
