    It’s totally Maisy’s nose in the ultrasound pictures. My favorite thing is watching Flynn entertain Wesley, such a great bond between them! Hang in there! Erik is a champ and such a great partner. I love you with bangs but that is completely your choice. This comment is everywhere because I’m just typing as I watch the vlog. Sorry not sorry. Take care!

    I just wanted to say, as someone who has been a fan for years now, that you and Erik have struck gold finding each other. I know you only show parts of your life on the internet, but seriously you guys are life partners. I’m sure that seems weird to hear, but it really isn’t that common. Your love and support for each other and your children is admirable. All the love.

      I was thinking the exact same thing! As a momma with migraines, debilitating period cramps & tendonosis in both shoulders, I've been there, too. Trying to be patient with your Littles as part (or all) of your body is screaming, can be extremely difficult! But we get through it, it f**king sucks in the moment, & for me a lot of the time it involves tears, but we somehow make it through! You've got support from all the Mommas who've had those days too! ❤🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🖤🤍

      I know she’s going through a lot but it kinda annoyes me how she had her own show she lives in a amazing house she has wonderful kids a wonderful husband and she is depressed I’m not sure how u could be depressed with a happy life I am depressed I have nothing she owns and I would be happy if I had her life and she has wonderful friends knows lots of celebrities and has lots of money

    • @FreeToDance6
      @FreeToDance6 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @@theredhood0772- I raised three children as a single mom in public housing and even I understand that money cannot buy happiness. Colleen loves her family and she is very grateful for the things she has. She says that constantly. But that is has nothing to do with pain and depression. Constant pain puts a lot of stress on your neurological system. It pushes the chemicals that balance the brain receptors to their limit and beyond. That is why so many people that suffer from chronic pain also suffer from depression. It’s not a state of mind, it’s a chemical and physical imbalance. What helps? Support and helping the body and brain back into balance.
      Colleen, please don’t let comments like this in. You are good. You are grateful. You are worthy. You are just hurt and sick right now and you can get help for that just like any other illness you might have.💕

It’s hard but thank you for sharing the hard moments. Re: the sleep regression.. I noticed that every time my babies were about to learn a new thing (be it a physical task, a verbal, cognitive task) or grow they would eat non-stop and go through a phase where they would refuse to sleep.. then they would sleep a ton and not eat. It could be that they're working on some developmental task. Hang in there mama - this is such a hard season. Regarding gender expression, in my opinion, as long as you respect their wishes when they let you know what they want to wear (bathing suit and cowboy boots, Halloween costume, etc), I think you're doing fine. They're wee babes yet, and you're doing great!

    I'm pregnant with my second baby and have been struggling with dissociation and depressive thoughts in my pregnancy. I didn't experience this at all with my first, so it feels super strange to me, but I wanted to thank you for your honesty in your vlogs about your experiences with perinatal depression. I'd already been watching your vlogs for awhile when I got pregnant, so I was able to recognize the symptoms early on and flag them both to my therapist and my midwife. If I hadn't seen you normalizing these symptoms and the diagnosis I think I would've just wondered what on earth was wrong with me for not being able to be happy for a planned and wanted pregnancy. On your really sad days where you feel overwhelmed, overtired, and challenged it is a) okay to feel that way and to name those feelings and b) by sharing these moments you've been doing such a huge favour to all of us mamas out there wondering if it's just us. Thank you!

    Hey Colleen! As someone who also has dermatilomania, I find that it’s hard to talk to most people about it because all they can see is my behavior, not my thoughts/urges. All they see is me tearing apart my skin, not me dying for some relief. To others it seems bizarre, like “how could she be able to do that to herself? if it hurts so bad, wouldn’t she just stop?”. They don’t understand the numbness you feel during the episode. They don’t understand that the pain you feel right before an episode is just about as painful as what you feel after the episode. So in our minds it’s totally logical (albeit seemingly uncontrollable). It’s painful to have that urge. It’s relieving to act on that urge. And it’s painful to deal with the consequences. It’s a vicious cycle, but that’s what most people don’t understand. I think it helps a lot to be validated by those who understand. So I just want you to know that I understand you and support you through your journey. We’ll find ourselves urging less and less, we just gotta support one another! Love you❤️

    It sounds like you've got mastistis which is an infection of the milk duct. You probably need some antibiotics to get rid of it. Your doing amazingly pumping and feeding the twins. 😊❤️

    • @abigailchautems6277
      @abigailchautems6277 2 ปีที่แล้ว +99

      If that’s the case and you do get antibiotics just remember, antibiotics can weaken the effect of your birth control. You are probably aware of this but I had a friend you didn’t know and her pharmacist did not mention it and she got pregnant.

    • @tannaterry388
      @tannaterry388 2 ปีที่แล้ว +32

    • @melissahotta8641
      @melissahotta8641 2 ปีที่แล้ว +14

      @@abigailchautems6277 there’s actually only one antibiotic that interferes with birth control and it’s not very often prescribed; it’s called rifampin. Generally if you make sure to tell your prescriber that you’re on oral birth control they’ll be sure to prescribe something that isn’t contraindicated.

The inflammation builds up and can prevent the clogs coming out. After feeding/pumping I would lay on my back and put a bag of frozen peas on the clog. I really think it was the key to getting my clogs out. Good luck Colleen. You got this.

    I’ve struggled with dermatillomania for as long as I can remember. You were the first person I’ve heard talk about your struggles with it. I’ve had the same thing happen with family and my boyfriend pointing out when it’s particularly bad. I talked with my boyfriend about not pointing it out because it seems to make it worse. For me, it’s worse when I’m anxious and other people noticing increases that anxiety. Since then, when it’s happening, my boyfriend starts to hold my hand but doesn’t say anything. I’m still slightly embarrassed but I also look at it as a reminder to try to stop and to focus on the comfort of being together instead. I appreciate you pointing out it’s a lifelong struggle. It helps me to not shame myself so much when it gets worse than normal.

    I just want to thank you for being open about your dermatilloania. I’ve been in therapy for over a year for my anxiety and ADHD and just finally opened up about my skin picking. You helped me be brave enough to admit it. Doing telehealth for therapy has made it easy for me to hide cause she can’t see the small red dots and scabs on my legs where ive picked at ingrown hairs or keratin bumps and I can pick at my cuticles or heels off camera. I’ve been struggling with how to bring it up to my spouse cause I hide it out of shame but I need his help in trying to deter me. The suggestion of distraction without bringing attention to the picking sounds like what I need. Thank you so much for that. You are a wonderful human and mother. Parenthood is hard. I just have one kiddo and I feel like I have my hands full! Kudos to you and your family for raising 3! It truly takes a village to raise kids and I’m so glad your family (friends included!) is so supportive and full of love for you and those kids! ❤️

    Colleen, thank you so much for talking about your dermatillomania. I have a similar thing where I rip and pick my nails off. I’ve had multiple toenails removed but every time they grow back I rip it right back off. If my boyfriend or family member calls me out on it, I get really embarrassed and then all I can focus on is ripping it off in private. Thank you for talking about it it’s so helpful and makes me feel seen.

    Using a warm compress, then a massager or the end of an electric toothbrush on the area for a few minutes then pumping usually helps. You may want to “dangle pump” meaning let your ladies hang while pumping. That helps as well. These methods helped me when I had clogged ducts. Good luck. ❤️
    Edit: Ha! I wrote that too soon. I just watched you dangle pump. 🙁

      Many years ago, i didn't know Colleen had other channels, i had only heard of Miranda Sings, so i thought she was actually like that 😅 When i did find her other channels and saw the real her, i was so relieved, since Miranda Sings is pretty arrogant and rude 😅 But now i finally understand the humor in it 🙂

      She talked about it a lot of times. 1. Yes, for a couple of years when she just started doing Miranda, no one knew her, most of the people believed she wasn't acting, also Miranda was much more chill and less of a character at the times. 2. They met in college, performed together and are best friends since then.

    with the dermatillomania subject, i’ve never been diagnosed with it, but i have the feeling i have it. i started with biting my nails since i was really little, when i finally stopped biting my nails, i moved to my skin around my fingers, and toes. my mom has been the one that i talk to the most about it, and luckily it hasn’t been super bad, but i’ve also felt the same when she’d stop me from biting or picking at my fingers. she would move my hand away or grab my hand and hold it and try to move my attention somewhere else and it never really seemed to help. so i definitely feel the same way you do! i ended up telling my family to ignore it, cause it’ll happen one way or another and bringing it to mine and everyone’s attention makes me only think about when i can do it again without everyone noticing and also making me extremely embarrassed by it. so even though i’m not actually diagnosed with dermatillomania, i understand where you’re coming from completely! much love to you and your beautiful family, Colleen!

    I had what I thought was a clogged milk duct too about 8 years ago. It was so painful and nothing worked! I even had my husband try sucking it out and it didn’t work. When I went to the doctor they said there was puss in it and they had to make an insertion to get it out. Definitely go get it checked because it could definitely affect the breast milk. Hope you feel better soon 💜

    Hi Colleen, I just wanna say, you dress your kids the way you wanna dress them. People will have their opinions, but if you wanna put Maisey in pink or put a bow on her, do it. If she wants you change that when she's older she can. But for right now, if you want to put bows on her, dress her in pink or put her in dresses, do it. I love you and your cute little family!❤

    I had some very painful clogs with my 3rd baby, and I used warm, moist heat - wet wash cloth with heating pad on top. I also would stand in the shower to give that warm, moist heat. You might have done this, but I was able to get rid of some stubborn clogged ducts.
