@Danielle Marie So... Aaron Stratton, the guy who sang for Gaston, actually played Gaston in "Beauty and The Beast: Live on Stage." I think that was the Hollywood Bowl many years back. So yeah, that's why Aaron was so perfect. He was an Official Disney Gaston and, as we all know, Disney demands perfection from the performers. And EJ Cardona, who sang for Quasimodo, was actually the voice of Quasimodo in a Touring Production of "Hunchback of Notre Dame" where the Physical Actor for Quasimodo was mute. So yeah, EJ knows that song VERY well. That entire song was nothing more than a massive flex from EJ and I'm here for it!
Years ago, both Aaron and Kurt played Gaston in the "Beauty and the Beast" stage show that's still running at Disney World's Hollywood Studios. At one point, they were the 2 Cast Members who played Gaston full time for that show.
EJ Cardona (last singer) has done Go The Distance and I Can’t Make You Love Me with VoicePlay! That last note was 28 seconds long and held with breath from the beginning of the phrase, not just the last word.
I love all the gentlemen features in this one. Finally, a deep bass solo for Karl Hudson! I think it was during Peter Barber's interview of Geoff Castellucci where Geoff said that just Karl's speaking voice can rumble your chest when you are in the same room as him.
EJ Cardona must be hiding an extra set of lungs, or he is the most efficient singer alive. Such a wonderful performance from all of them. I suggest you check out them doing "On A Clear Day You Can See Forever" featuring Tituss Burgess. Its pure magic.
I love to watch Voctave, if you haven’t seen them with the original writer of Mary did you know, Mark Lowry! It’s jaw dropping! Best version I’ve ever heard and of coarse with the writer himself, it’s pretty special! Thanks: low bass Kenneth
Miss Danielle - Have you heard the Ringmasters sing this? Link - th-cam.com/video/Qo_N9_ZFBhs/w-d-xo.html And if you are willing to go down a very deep rabbit hole, there is an awesome progressive rock band from the 1970's named Renaissance. They frequently recorded with full orchestras, including the Royal Philharmonic and the New York Philharmonic. My all time favorite of theirs is The Song of Scheherazade. Link - th-cam.com/video/2GVEDSMFXMk/w-d-xo.html (This is a live performance from 1977, years before auto tune.) Buckle up, the song is almost 30 minutes long.
HEY!! I know you prob have a lot on your schedule but there’s a featurette for Wicked that just dropped showing them singing live for the movie!!! Can you react to it?
And the MASTER of breath control has entered the chat. Seriously I don't think I've seen a reaction that wasn't in awe.
I agree with you. By chance have you heard The Ringmasters (barbershop quartet) sing this?

Jamey does the most incredible arrangements I have ever heard in vocal performances. Just astonishing. LOVED your reaction!

And don't forget O Come, All Ye Faithful!!
I got to see Octave recently! Hearing EJ's voice live was on my bucket list, and it was even better than I imagined!
I love watching Voctave reactions.

It is only a vicious rumor that EJ needs to breathe. Ever.
Fabulous reaction and analysis, thank you for sharing it with us ❤
EJ has 40 gallon lungs with ungodly breath control.
Love your reactions to voctave!! Thank you!! Amazing!
The music from Beauty and the Beast was also in the film. Great reaction! Can't wait to see more from Voctave.
You should do their version of Let there be peace on earth/this is my wish
Love the chromatic scale in the background in the first song of the medley at the "...It's changing, it's changing, it's changing alright..."
Not sure but Aaron who sings the part of Gaston actually played the part several years at epcot
Voctave does not get the attention they deserves in the reaction community let alone in the vocal reaction community!
Another great reaction 😍

Jamey does all of their arrangements. 😊
The last soloist, EJ Cardona, has also done some great work with VoicePlay - check it out!
