Thanks! Are you talking about when you put the glue on the cracks and scatches? You want to wait 3 or 4 hours to make sure it's totally solid before you sand.
This was super helpful and seriously needed because there's a lack of clear information out there. It was really well done, and I'm grateful to you for sharing it with all of us whose foils have had some unplanned contact with harder-than-water substances. One question about the polish -- is it functional or just to get the shine? My foils are matte, and I have used wet sanding up to 2k and 3k grit even to get a really smooth finish but I don't know if I should be using polish after that?
Thanks Dan! Glad it helped. The polish acts like a very fine grit sand paper so it's definitely functional. It also does add a bit of a shine so if you're working with a matte finish you may want to avoid using the polish. The extent of the change depends on the specific polish used and the surface's original matte finish. It's a good idea to test a small, inconspicuous area first to see how the polish affects the finish before applying it to the entire surface. There are also specific polishes designed for matte finishes but I don't have much experience with those.
The other thing is, that you have to be careful while sanding carbon. Always do it with water and/or wear a mask. Because carbon is not good for you health.
super video, underrated for sure! keep it up! thanks for sharing this!
Thanks for detailed explanations.
You're welcome!
Awesome Vdeo. Thanks for sharing!!! I had one question. Did you spray the repairs with accelerator or did it cure overnight? Thanks
Just let it cure overnight! I ran out of the accelerant while doing this repair.
Hi, excellent video! can you update the link for the full repair kit? It's broken. Thanks :)
Hi, thanks for the heads up! I've updated the link. Let me know if you face any issues.
Excellent video! How many minutes do you have for the glue to beginning to set?

What about whistling after repair, do you have to trim after a session?
Are you experiencing a new whistling sound after you have done a repair that wasn't there before?
What do you use for the polish?
This 3M polish is the best amzn.to/3sVCJGS
