I'm not a Linkin Park fan by far but you've got to respect a band that brings a kid up on stage and makes his dream come true. Who knows how much of that kid's life he's spent sitting in his bedroom playing that song imagining he was up on stage with these guys playing it for thousands of fans. Now he can say he has been there and done that because of their generosity. Kudos to any band who has ever done this for a fan.
This was actually a dream of mine when I was younger, specifically this song. I used to daydream about it. I’m glad someone got to live it. RIP Chester
Theres a reason they keep choosing this song to play for fans. its a cool sounding easy riff. Not taking away from any of the fans who have came up and played it, but this is one of their easier songs to play on guitar. but, awesome all the same. Cool as hell for LP to keep doing this for their fans. maybe one day i can get up there and shred..
Priceless moment. That time when u become an Old man. Then your grandson saw you in this video. that feeling tho. Makes u smile always remembering this
loool Did you hear a guy in the crowd say "Yeah I know, he's gonna stink up the whole joint" right before he started playing?.. loool right in yo face!! XD
i am hardcore linkin park fan since i was small kid. and its really awesome to see that they actually got a kid up on stage. respect for that :') that kid had a once in a life time experince that he played with THE linkin park on stage. boy m so jealous :D
My skill of guitar ranges from Brad Delson to Tom Morello, i have a PRS Custom 24 cause Brad has one, and i have the ARM THE HOMELESS guitar cause of Tom, my 2 favorite guitarist
Apparently if you can play guitar and you're LP fan then you should know Faint. Besides riffs are not that hard and the part Brad showed is repeated all the way. So, might not be a set up.
Ive seen other videos of Linking Park picking someone from the crowd to play faint and the only reason why i would think its always a set up is how does brad and the rest of the crew know that the fan knows how to play all the other parts of the song.
men..you dont know how to play guitar... .right? very obvious n your comment.....its not a set up..... if someone really knows how to play a guitar... they would easily know that power chords are the one used..and Drop D string set up....and the patterns are just so easy...and i bet u dont know what power chords are.....even me i know how to play it.....by just listening to it...
Well i do play the drums and bass. and its obvious in your comment that you've never been to a rock concert. i never said its a set up for sure but after lots of the shows I've been to and saw others go on stage and do whatever i very much know that its not all the time for real.
This song is super easy to play . It's just 4 chords during the chrous , stomp the distortion box, hit three simple chords on the verses including an open chord and on the bridge 4 more easy barre chords you can play with a single finger in this tuning(drop D). This guy was actually playing fucking octaves which is more than what brad does (lol lazy ass player but good mastermind with Mike) which is the sign of a good player. Any player wortha shit can play this by ear with 30 seconds of instruction on when to stomp the distortion pedal and the rhythm is easy. You might be right in that he was a ringer but I doubt it. People do have skillsets. Alot of kids who attend shows can play an instrument, This isn't Metallica or Megadeth where the songs are too complex for this type of thing and if you get out of synch there is no saving it and you ruin the song. I am not joking when I say a seven year old kid can play this one. Joe, Rob and Chester do have harder jobs, especially Chez' screaming and Joe has the hardest job in the band imo . They make really simple instrumental music that also sounds very appealing.
The way Dave tells him to stand on the box like he's a part, respect man. And also the crowd goes crazy 🎉🎉🎉
