    Realistically, a TB Set is already big against a Top 30 player, already proven herself by getting a Set against now AO Finalist Zheng in the Asian Games...I think she needs to play more qualies in the tour level, although I guess she's still gauging if it's time to get to the WTA tour level now IMO.

  • @SANDUSK471
    @SANDUSK471 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

    I skipped the first two minutes of the video and when I saw her overall serve (be it first or second), I just knew that's still her problem. Yes you have players like Errani or Leylah serving well below 130km/h but still a singles GS finalist, but it's so hard nowadays to be highly competitive without good first serve. Look at Leylah being super fluctuative in her rank, she got explosive games and good defense but her opponent mostly managed to put her around the court because her serve gave them the opening to do so. On good days, her serve could be tricky or loopy and that helped. That's the thing about serve, if it's not quick, at least make it tricky, and that's something she needs to work on with her team. She's a hungry young lady but she's not going to make a big splash unless that aspect of her game is improved first.

    Eala has potential but when you compare her to people like Mirra, her serves are lacking and doesn’t really show to have a strong wing. Hopefully her team can make her rise to the occasion as the Philippines could really get the spotlight for rising new players.

    Eala’s movement is so clunky. She also needs to work on her mental game-how to be smart with her shot selection, have variations, etc. Plus, I don’t see a hunger or competitiveness that a lot of the top players have. Hopefully, she will learn fast or else she will just be hovering outside the top 100 for the rest of her career. The next two years will be crucial.

  • @user-ne7qc5kx5j

    Eala will just be a top 100 player in her 20s a journeywoman in wta, her physical make-up is just too bulky to run and recover hence she always lose steam in 2nd and 3rd set. Her team didn't address it for the longest time, maybe a dietitian like Novak will do. She don't have weapons like approach volley and always wait for ball to bounce.
