We waited 21 months for our 2024 Prime. Actually ordered a 2022, in 2022. LOL Ours is the SE with 17's. It can get up to 60mpg in hybrid mode while giving close to 62 miles in EV. The Prime SE also can get to 60 in 6.48. 223hp. Looks good in silver, but, check-out the Windchill Pearl hue. On a bright day put your face close to the bodywork. Only then will you see. It's not white. It is really pearl.
@@DownshiftPass Ya, a long wait. And, it cost us money. We got $2,000 less for our 12 year old Prius C because it was 2 years older, plus we had to pay two model year price increases. So was it worth it. Yes, after 13,000+km (8,125+ miles), we have burned just 3.5 tanks of gas. Gas here is over $6.15 a gallon, so the car has already saved us hundreds. When we collected the car the sales Rep. told us that the wait for a Prime was "now" three years ! Little wonder that two (or more), years after its release we have only seen four or five of the fifth generation model on the road. We had two previous Prius cars (non-Prime's), for 16 years, so, we knew what we were in for with this new one. And as expected we have no regrets about "stepping up" to a Prime. Honestly, the car has been flawless in the nine or so months we've had it. Of course, it's not "the perfect" car but then...........which one is. Now, back to the colour: I wanted the Guardian Gray. My wife was keen on the Supersonic Red. As with most things, my wife's pick took precedence and a red model was ordered (in 2022). After the long, long wait and with no sign of a red one "dropping" out of the sky the dealer reached out with the Windchill Pearl that someone else ordered and then cancelled on arrival. When we visited the dealer they actually had two Primes on the lot. A yellow one and the Pearl. Sadly, the yellow model was a top-trim with the 19' wheels and cost a lot more. We grabbed the "white" one. And, it was months later while I was washing the thing that I finally noticed the paint isn't white. You must look closely, and at an angle, on a bright day to notice the difference. The Pearl finish cost an extra $600, but so does the red one.
I love where the display module is right in front of the steering wheel.. if any debris comes through the window you can easily duck and live another Day
Can't believe I'm looking at a Prius as a daily, but I am because this new model is so beautiful!! Great, great review! Thanks for showing the JBL stereo too, think I'll spring for the Limited for it! Can you do a Supra next ?!

That means a lot to hear!! Thank You!

Haha!! One way of looking at it!! Subscribe and check out my other videos so I can get some more insight!! LOL
Great video as always, and they absolutely killed it with the looks. I don't usually like silver, but that's definitely the color to get on this one.
Toyota definitely knocked out it the park!!
