Thank you for the really interesting video. Are the rental prices per month, or per week? It is much cheaper than where I live (a big Australian city). We also have those Facebook groups where people talk about stuff they have tried (but from Aldi, we don't have Lidl here sadly 😅). My partner's family are originally from Lithuania and we have been talking about having a vacation in the Baltic states. It looks so beautiful there, like a fairytale. So many beautiful old buildings. I'm glad to hear you don't really drink too, you're a wise young woman.
I think both semesters are ok and the choice depends on you whether you want to witness spring and beginning of summer to chill on the beach or if you want to see Latvian winter and snow (if lucky)

Hey! I guess there shouldn’t be really an age limit. It usually applies when you want to get a scholarship. At this point the age limit can be like 35 or something. But when you just apply to study for your own money - I don’t think there should be a problem for a 37 year old person. I recommend checking it with an exact university. Hi Anna, I appreciate you helping me educate myself on Latvian culture. This update was timely, as I plan to claim citizenship within the next year. My grandparents with my infant father fled Riga in 1937 to escape the Red Terror. With a background in French and Spanish, I'm learning a new genre of language, Latvian, and I'm not finding it easy.
