Got any advice? should i set this up with a line in and out instead of using the USB to get the audio?
Awesome video man! One question though. In your OBS settings, is there a difference in “disabling” all of those features and just adding the source in manually? That’s how I always did it. Thank you!
@@WhiteChocolates I guess if you don’t want to manually enter them in every scene you could add them where you did. I don’t want to be able to control both my audio and stream’s audio with the sliders though is why I set it manually.
@@WhiteChocolates ah ok good to know I am having trouble getting my audio to consistently stay in the yellow on obs mic meter thing without adding make up gain, I thought maybe add a gain filter through obs would help
Nice tutorial :) I have a question for you . If i do it like you, separate mic and broadcast mix are those mute options on GOXLR still working ? I mean if i press mute button on mic fader, is it muted in obs as well ? Thanks
Yo, my shit is ass backwards. I can have my headphones mic checked, and as you said you could hear yourself talk, I could not hear myself talk. but when I click broadcast stream mix enabling the mic, that's when I hear myself talking. Also, when I set my default audio to be the System, I hear literally nothing at all.
When i play my music i can't mute so i can't hear it, i've followed all steps as well, also it doesn't come through music audio on obs it comes through broadcast
Is it possible to not have to use the front headphone port for a 3.5mm pair of headphones? I want to avoid having to use the front ports as it doesn’t suit my cable management, I tried the audio out port in the back of the mixer but the headphones didn’t get very loud
Hey you might have found out already but I've got the same setup but you need an amplifier with that setup. Easy said the Go XLR Mini isn't strong enough for that mic so you need to add the amplifier. Google: triton audio that's the one I got and now everything is perfect.

Based on how you're routing your discord audio here, it's being output to "Chat - goxlr" before being routed to "Broadcast Stream Mix". Using these settings here in this video, discord audio would not show up at all. Broadcast Stream Mix also has your system audio. Adding the stream mix as a source would cause a "double send" of your system audio since you've already added "System - goxlr" as a source in OBS.
I added the source system that is true but changed it to broadcast stream mix. I must’ve cut the part out. However there is no double send of my audio and discord shows up perfectly!
i have a question what if you want to have on your stream to be able to mute the music both for you and your stream without having to mute your whole system on the mixer?
i have trouble with my setings where i am hearing myself through the headset the only way i can get to have the sliders work is having the "broadcast Stream Mix" not as default but have to turn on listin to this device currently using a USB headset and a Movo Mic... any idea?
So you do not want to hear yourself? If so there should be a checkbox where you can turn it off on the GOXLR. On your broadcast if you’re looking to send just your “system” sounds through it, should look like how I did it. If you want more than game sound, etc. you can change it in the goxlr itself and send it to the “broadcast stream mix”
@@WhiteChocolates Yea I tried the settings you said in the video but i cant hear anything even when trying to turn it on through Go XLR, oddly I cant hear anything when I have the settings that is put in video. i have to have the stream mix as listin to this device to even hear anything through my headset and have the sliders work but it comes with hearing my voice as well even with go lxr checked off
