Hey I cant get my mic to activate on the game PC. I have the Line Out from the Go XLR into the Line In on the Game PC. What am I missing??

How do u have ur headset connected, is it connect to gaming pc or streaming pc. I have steelseries wireless Pro with dac.
I’ve struggled for nearly a year with my dual pc setup. I searched the net for so long and finally a video and content creator that hears our cries. This video has literally saved my stream. I can’t thank you enough to be Frank. I have one thing to troubleshoot when I get home, I could not see windows on my game PC recognizing my mic on the Line in. Am I missing a step or setting’s adjustment? Is it something that must be checked in the routing tab? I will investigate more when I have some time this weekend. Thank you again.
Trusted TC-Helicon's instructions for the longest time and ran primary GOXLR connection to the gaming pc. Took some time to understand the better way to do it is route through the streaming PC. and make adjustments in Streamlabs. Worth noting that only higher end motherboards have optical audio outputs (unless you have internal/external audio card as an addition). Tweaking audio for dual pc streaming has been the most challenging part to get right. Thanks for the vid!

question for you. Now what PCC did you do this on Gaming? or your Streaming PC Cant get my mic to work well I hear it in the stream but no one can hear me in gaming chat or Discord and yes I did make the in/outputs to what they need to be. Im running a duel PC setup GOXLR is to my streaming PC like you said to do. Any thoughts on what i did wrong maybe my routing is wrong?

Can you show how you make your connections. I use the Steelseries Nova Pro Wireless and the GoXlr to connect the dual pc.

Because I would really like to do this. I just recently got a goxlr and still having issues where on stream pc obs won’t play audio like music or discord as soon as I open up obs. Also alerts won’t play either.
This is a great video, I followed it as best I can and it seems to work great, however the second I open OBS the audio starts skipping all over the place, any ideas?

Size goxlr connected to my stream pc and goxlr mini connected to my gaming pc. I have them both connected and now I can have up to 8 faders
(so i have an goxlr this information maybe important or not) so i can hear my audio coming from my gaming pc to my streaming pc right but it when i put on my headset is when the GPC audio is nonexistent...how do i go about this? sorry if you ready answer this in the video
Art, i have 1 question i have pur hased a goxlr arriving tuesday, i currently use artic steel series wireless pro as my headset, what do i do in this regard with dual pc set up. Do i keep it connected to my gaming pc as per normal and just use line out goxlr line in to hear streaming pc, ajd line out gaming to line in xlr to hear game audio.
also, you do need to route the line-in to your headphones as well right? Otherwise you wont hear the gamepc
kinda off topic, but since you have to add things like discord to multiple scenes, would it be best6 to set up a discord nested scene and just add that as a source to all the different scenes?
absolute awesome video! Only thing for me is im getting alot of feed back using line out on goxlr to the mic or line in on the pc for game chat is there something im doing wrong?
Make sure you’re using a ground loop isolator
I had mine mess up too and an audio guy had to fix it for me cause the line out was so much quieter. It was a chip that fried apparently.
Last night all of my goXLR settings were lost, I’m trying to remember how I had it. Could you remind me why the line out you have unchecked? I’m trying to gather all the information I can before getting home from work
Something a bit more basic… but do u have a video on a single setup with a Astro A40 with the mix amp? I follow your current recommendation on Dolby.
I want to use this video but not knowing where any of my wires go besides the usb one you mentioned going into streaming pc it just doesn’t help.. where do my 3.5mm cords go on each of my PCs what is all the correct system sound settings..
can this still be done using the Astro A 50??
What if the only way you talk to your friends is on game chat through mw2?
my problem is when i follow all this , i dont hear my sound because my headset is connected to a sound blaster Creative external sound card !. Its a mess and all sounds has to be output SoundBlaster.

That's the standard way of doing it, with the GoXLR controlling the volume for both yourself and the stream.

Hi bro this video is great, but how do you put all your stream alerts through one global input such as 'music' ? would love to know.
They playback on my default monitoring device, which is system. You could change that on OBS to another channel if you want.
This just made me totally cross eyed. Just casually going over separated inputs like WuT? How u get those?
Hey man dual pc set up here copied everything from the video. But for some reason when i use my mic for in game it picks up everything that is outputting sound from my streaming pc, discord music, system sounds etc. And I can't for the life of me figure it out

Awesome video dude! One question about global devices though. Why not just disable all of them and manually add them as source outputs? That’s how I always did with voicemeter.

You can absolutely do it this way! You could even create a scene with JUST audio sources and nest that in each seen as @Lucifer192 recently taught me! I'm just forgetful and like to have them globally added, and then mute them at will through OBS Audio Mixer.
@@ArtisWar thanks for that reply! I don’t like the idea of adjusting both stream and my own sound on a fader. I usually adjust sounds in OBS stream and they stay that way. I like adjusting for my ears depending on the sound separately.

There’s a bug right now and it’s not letting me download the driver smh, also the driver link for the goxlr mini downloads the Chinese version of the regular goxlr it’s so dumb

You don't need to add the device to every scene if you make a nested scene with all your audio.
I’ve watched this so many times and got it all hooked up with Optical cable and all. It sounds amazing but I was 2 minutes in a game and it blew up in my ear with white noise… do you think it’s the cable or motherboard? I’m on my way to get the a new cable. I hope that works. Any thoughts?
Did the new cable resolve this? I had someone come through an appointment with a similar problem. What mobo on the gaming PC?

Excellent video bro, I'm having a lot of problems with the configuration of my GoXlr, when I connect everything well, I only hear what is coming from a pc, I don't hear the juice from my gaming pc, and I have a lot of static... if you could help me solve that.

You can, you send your mic back over the GOXLR line out to the line in on the game PC. GOXLR routing should only have sample and mic on it, I’m pretty sure i show that here.

If you arent busy boss, Ive got everything setup and working which is the farthest ive gotten so far, only issue is that im only getting audio in my left ear of my headset. Any suggestions? Im not able to run an optical cable, so im running two 3.5mm AUX cables. Thanks in advance!
Make sure all the 3.5mms are fully plugged but it might be a bad cable/connector somewhere. Is it ALL sources? or just one?
@@ArtisWar Thank you for the response! I had my acrtis 7 wireless headset connected to the goxlr via the 3.5mm audio cable that comes with it. Tried another headset and that ended up being the issue! Thanks Again!

When i turn down on the Goxlr the Audio i cannot hear it more but the Stream hear it .... the Slider makes for me no Clue :( i do any wrong
This is how it's supposed to work for every slider except your gaming PC. That works for you and stream. Mute sources or control stream levels in OBS. Set and forget.
@@ArtisWar yeah but when I use the Slider in Obs the Audio do not reduce just in my headphone

OBS slider = stream volume
GOXLR slider = your volume

@@MarcWrecs For me, Realtek Digital Outuput and Mic In. Optical cable to the console on the goxlr, and aux from line out on the GoXLR to mic in carrying the mic from the GoXLR back.

I’m using the Truthear x Crinacle Zeros, but me and Repullze managed to back order them 😂 Moondrop Chu or Salnotes Zeros are two good entry options as well.
