Yo, my shit is ass backwards. I can have my headphones mic checked, and as you said you could hear yourself talk, I could not hear myself talk. but when I click broadcast stream mix enabling the mic, that's when I hear myself talking. Also, when I set my default audio to be the System, I hear literally nothing at all.

Do you use the goxlr mini settings in OBS ? Or I can just use the goxlr settings and I don’t need any filters for my mic in OBS ?

I get a buzz but especially when playing a game, when i look around in game it changes tone. Iv done all the sound settings and moved all my kit around.. iv played with every setting i can find.. this is a nightmare haha I have ordered a ground loop but the only 3.5 i have is from my headset to the headset jack at the front of the GOXLR MINI.. im not sure if this will be the cause but hopefully this fixes it. Got any advice? should i set this up with a line in and out instead of using the USB to get the audio?

THANKS SO MUCH! this helped out alot. all the other tutorials from other ppl didnt work for me lol . both my music and my mic were coming thru the same thing in OBS. this tutorial fixed that issue. def got a new sub!

When I want play with some Friend from PS5 and how to make that me Hear? I hear them but they hear me not. When I Stream and play alone, thats is fine but with some Friends on PlayStation Party. There is only problem that they dont hear me from PC Microphone but I hear they do

I was used to this method for the Avermedia devices because I started with a Gamer Plus 2 originally. Also on the Elgato internal, I used to run their cap software in background too for audio, but you dont have to. You simply set to monitor only, sometimes monitor and output, the Elgato source and you will hear audio. You probably know this by now due to the age of this video though. My setup is complex and I use two cap cards.

My pc wont recognize "chat mic" as an input device. It will only recognize broadcast stream mix. same with discord. I have no idea whats going on. I took my set up apart to move it and now everything is messed up.

i have a question what if you want to have on your stream to be able to mute the music both for you and your stream without having to mute your whole system on the mixer?

Hi! I have some issues with the avermedia audio and video record from my xbox series x. The problem is a delay between audio and video recording and i dont know why it happens..

So the only issue with this is that you have to do a work around to capture party audio right? But if I just want to capture game audio and my voice from an external mic I’m good?

Ok, Im going to drop some bomb shells because I came here for a little insight as well. First it seems that the AverMedia capture card words great when capturing audio from a console such as an Xbox Series X or PS5, however when it comes to capturing in game audio from a game on a PC (if recording and streaming) it won't capture the in game audio but everything else. It's weird. I believe it comes down to the fact that we don't have an audio jack or something on this capture card as other capture cards such as the elgato. In order to get party chat audio, just select the game scene and click custom audio at the bottom and click desktop direct audio or something like that, and this on the console for me (xbox series x) go to audio settings and click headset and speakers. Sucks though I can't record PC gaming and hear this audio smh. Looking for better capture card now

Is it possible to not have to use the front headphone port for a 3.5mm pair of headphones? I want to avoid having to use the front ports as it doesn’t suit my cable management, I tried the audio out port in the back of the mixer but the headphones didn’t get very loud
