hey i bought a pc and didnt look this far ahead but, it has no optical port for anxlr cable, single pc... is there a way to still hook up goxlr to my pc without ruining audio quality?

I originally set my dual-pc streaming setup with my GOXLR going through my Gaming PC but it was such a nightmare to do and actually made it so much more difficult. I found this video, routed it through my streaming PC how I originally wanted but couldn't figure out the correct routing. This video helped with that so much. Thank you!

Yeah in my opinion it’s by far the best way to set it up. I spent hours watching every other video and none of them tried to solve the problems. Hence why I created the video.

Excellent ! I use it since 4 days and it works perfectly. I just noticed something disturbing. Sampler record is only using my microphone. I would like it use my gaming computer too (Line in) With this setup only mic is captured; but its fine ! Multi track is worth than that

Sounds like exactly what i need , i was looking for a way to seperate my game audio and mic but i have always had my goxlr connected to my gaming pc, i do have one question, if i record a video then input the video into my editing software will the tracks automatically be seperated or do i have to also set this up in obs audio settings for the inputs and outputs to be recorded to seperate tracks?
You need to set this up as separate audio tracks but this is easy with this setup. You just have to change recording settings to advance, then select how many audio tracks you want and then tick these by clicking on sound input advance settings.
Since recording the video I've realised that the goxlr mute button for my discord chat doesn't mute on stream. I instead just have this set to mute for headphones. If you do want this option you could just set a hot key in OBS to mute the specific sound channel for the discord chat.
I personally have all of these disabled. All having these enabled does is when you create a new scene it auto adds these audio channels. I just copy and paste my audio channels when I create new scenes.
I have my setup set straight like you have yours on this video…. but some games I play have voip, how do I use my mic to talk through my game on the game pc?? thank you!!!!
Thank you! My sound problems have been driving me crazy both before and during my stream until now. Do you know if its possible to have a wireless headset, or since everything goes through the Go XLR, the only way to use headphones are wired?
How do you make it so whenever you join a vc on discord people can hear your goxlr fx? for example there are streamer's out there who join discord calls and use their voice fx from the goxlr or their samples and the other people who are in that call can hear it! but I'm having a hard time understanding what settings the goxlr are needs to be on discord in order for people to hear my fx and samples. So do you have your XLR on the stream pc with the mic and use the line in/out so the mic works on the game pc? if so, im would this work the same with the xlr mini?

Very good video. I do have one problem. Lol. My GoXLR is plugged into my gaming PC and I have all audio “line out” into my streaming PC. I’m not sure why I did it this way, it’s probably because I use an Elgato HD60S capture card so all audio runs through there. I simply want to stop my music from being recorded in my VODS when I’m playing and listening to Spotify for copyright protection. What else can I do to accomplish this? Or am I screwed? Lol
this is one of the first times I've found someone using the goxlr "backwards" since everyone seems to plug it direct to their game PC. I wanted control of ALL the channels since nvidia shadowplay only separates system and mic sounds and I thought I was crazy for setting it up this way. thanks
This is 100% the best way to set it up. All of the videos on TH-cam telling you to plug it into the gaming completely avoid talking about the problems with that. One being what you mentioned in not being able to have audio on separate channels. This then gives you way less control of audio volume for your stream. Glad I could help.
hey man! your video is THE video that helped me after looking through hundreds for the right setup, so cheers! Quick question after using this setup for a few months. One thing i didnt realize is that while OBS starts picking up Discord audio using that chat volume, the goxlr volume slider only effects the chat (discord) volume for my headphones and doesnt actually adjust the volume in OBS for what viewers are hearing. Any ideas?
Hey, yeah this is a mistake in the video I made. This is not possible with my setup. Best off just setting up limiters and compressors for the audio channel is obs to stop it being too loud. I have another video on TH-cam I posted recently about that.

I ended up using my stream deck to control incoming chat audio from discord for OBS instead so the problem is fixed I just wanted to be sure I couldn’t fix it with GoXLR. Thanks!
Question, do you run Discord on your gaming or streaming PC? It seems when I do everything on the routing tab that you did, people in my discord can hear whatever I am playing if I have discord open on my streaming PC, but if I run discord on my Gaming PC, then they can't hear my FX and Samples and all the fun stuff I want them to.
Thank you for this awesome video which allowed me to solve the main issue I had with GoXLR! Everything seems to work fine so far, but I'm still facing a little inconvenience: do you think there is a way to route samples to discord, too? I mean, when I set my discord input as Sample, people can hear me on discord but they can't hear the samples I have on my GoXLR. Basically, I wish both my viewers (they do thanks to the Sampler output on OBS) and people on Discord could hear it. Thanks
I've had a think about this and I don't think it's possible on a dual pc without a compromise. If you do what the other comment says you can achieve this but then you need to route the game audio on a different channel.
Awesome video it definitely helped a lot! I had a few questions though as a single PC user with Blue Yeti X mic (connects to XLR by 3.5mm), Astro A50 w/ base station (connects to XLR by 3.5mm then to PC by micro USB to USB), stream deck XL and stream deck pedal (connects to PC by USB).. 1. The sampler cannot be heard from people in my game chat but other things like the voice changer can. Is there a way to include the sampler? 2. I set mine up the way you did but for some reason the voice chat slider does not go up and down when people in game chat are talking, is there any fix for these issues? 3. Should I be unchecking Line In on go XLR for all? Thanks again :)
I would double check that your specific in game sound settings for input and output have been changed to sampler and voice chat. Also make sure that your windows sound input is set to sampler.

Yeah sure sorry I missed this. Line out of GOXLR into line in of gaming (this for the mic). Line out of gaming pc into line in of GOXLR (this is gaming audio). Then plug GOXLR usb into streaming. On my gaming pc windows sound settings are Realtek audio output and line-in go input.

I have followed this guide to the letter and the only thing I can get to come thru on the stream in my Mic and the music ... What do i set the audio in the OBS settings to? and if i click broadcast on the other things like game in routing table im not sure that its mixing right because now ive got 1 slider in the audio that shows the game and music pushing that slider into the red. Is there something I am missing?
@@GhostvOne software has to be loaded and GOXLR configured. Once that has been done you can turn your streaming pc off and it works. If you then want to just turn your gaming pc next day, you don’t need to turn streaming pc to work. You can also control volume by the headphone slider. If you unplug GOXLR you will have to repeat step 1.
@StreamStrat Thanks for clarify. So if I understand, GoXLR goes on my Streaming Computer. Line OUT from my Gaming computer goes in GoXLR Line In. Line OUT from my GoXLR need to be my microphone right and need to plug into my Gaming Computer Line IN ? Because i still need to use it on my gaming computer if I need it in a game. And finaly, I can still hear my gaming computer if my streaming computer is OFF. Is everything correct ? Thank you for the video! Regarding this setup. Does it allow you to still listen and watch videos on your gaming PC while being able to adjust them with faders? Or does your streaming PC become the one that you do everything on apart from gaming? I ask because I'd rather be able to watch videos on my gaming monitor.

I'm going to watch the video again, but I've followed all the steps slowly and properly, yet for some reason I don't get any audio from my gaming PC (be it a browser like the one I have up of your video) or my game audio to my streaming PC. I have: The USB on the GoXLR is plugged into my streaming PC. Line out of GOXLR into line in of gaming PC Line out of gaming PC into Line In of GoXLR Everything is routed the same in the GoXLR app of the streaming PC, and OBS has the correct inputs. The only thing that works is music and mic on the streaming PC, but that much should be a given. I really just want to be able to hear audio of whatever I'm doing on my gaming pc, be it youtube or my game and it's been rather elusive.
@@eddie7441 this will be related to the output selected on your gaming pc. I had similar issues before. On mine it’s set to Realtek speakers. I would have a play around with all your audio outputs on your gaming pc.

I notice that you have the Desktop and Game as separate controllable sources within OBS. However they seem intertwined for me, as in both my browser and game audio are captured on the same source. How does assigning desktop as System separate it from the audio coming in from the gaming PC since any audio comes in from the Line In?

This is my exact problem. I have everything set up like your video and it works great while streaming. my obs has everything set up on different lines on my streaming computer. Goxlr is set up on my streaming computer. I hear game sound in obs and my headset.. but no in game chat or in game mic on gaming pc.. I can chat and use my mic through discord on my streaming PC... but mic dont work on gaming PC... I have the line out 3.5mm from goxlr to mic in on my gaming pc... and headphone line out from gaming pc 3.5 to line in on goxlr..and i can hear the game playing on goxlr and game chat..... My routing table is set up just like yours but still no mic sounds while in game on gaming pc .. They cant hear me in game but i can hear them... I play fortnite on gaming laptop and stream on pc. Sound settings on gaming pc are set to Headphones Realtek audio and set to default device and default communications device on the playback tab.... and recording is set to Microphone USB audio device as default device and communication device. Dual pc set up with streaming computer del xps with nevida 2060 and gaming laptop alienware m15 r7... When i plug in the goxlr line out into the laptop line in then it recognizes it as a microphone usb audio device under the sound recording tab.... and i use the line out on the gaming laptop into the goxlr and it plays the game sound properly.... I dont understand why no mic sound is coming into the game pc from the line out of the goxlr when i have mirrored your routing table? Everything works in discord properly but just not in game. any advise? Thanks in advance.. your video was one out of 1,000 that actually worked for me 99% of the way... just the in game chat dont work for me.
Hey man, happy to try help, sounds like you have everything setup correct. First thing I’d say is are you sure the cable from the GOXLR to mic in on the gaming pc works? Has it been tested / used before? When you open up windows sound setting does the mic meter move when you talk or nothing? You know the cable from gaming pc to GOXLR is working otherwise you wouldn’t hear game sound. Try swapping the cables and see what happens.

Hey brother , i have the same exact set up as you and i love it. Question , what if i want to play a sample sound so that ppl in my warzone game can hear it , how do i do that ? what routing do i turn on ? or is it even posible.. 🤔
You could maybe use voicemeeter to do this. Route both your mic and sample sound into voicemeeter and then output them into one virtual audio output. Then change this to your mic in game settings.
@@PreciseAimm yeah I just checked and you can def do it. So add both audio inputs into voicemeeter, make sure b1 is selected for both, then this will output both sounds to the virtual output that is created when you download the program.

So I have a single pc and I stream mostly cod. the discord audio on obs doesn’t volume down when I turn it down on my goxlr, it only volumes down for my headphones and the game sound and the voice chat go into that same channel. My music works to be turned down with my goxlr for me and stream and so does my mic. I’m only having trouble with my voice chat and system audio.

Yeah 100%. I use mine all time when I’m not streaming. I couldn’t live with out it. I would recommend looking at the GOXLR mini or there is a new brand that has recently released a device called the Beacn Mix. This has had some very good reviews.

question. I’m trying to control the level of my music on my stream through my goxlr using the mixer knob. however it only increases/decreases sound in my headphone but not in stream. how do I go about fixing this issue
Go into Control settings then audio then underneath global audio devices set mic/auxiliary audio to broadcast steam mix. Then in sourses make your music broadcast stream mix.
Hi, I have a question, I have done everything to the point where i can hear my gaming pc audio through my goxrl, aswell as my streaming pc audio without any issues! But as im trying to add the ''audio inputs'' into OBS on my streaming pc, using ''Chat mic'' for my ''game'' audio for instance, it won't show it being picked up on OBS. Do you know what i'm doing wrong?
1st thing I would ask is if the line-in to chat mic is ticked on the routing table? If you say you can hear your gaming pc through the goxlr then that should mean the line out to line in is setup and working. So just need to make sure the line-in is mapped to the chat mic output, then add this as an audio input in obs. You may have already done all of that but just wanted to double check.
@@s2kmattshorts there should just be an on/off option for the browser source line? This plays the audio in your headphones that comes from that source. If this doesn’t work I’ll have a look tomorrow for you and try work it out.

hello, i'm still having audio echo while testing the sound for my stream, what could be causing it? Using single pc and the GoXLR mini. I'm thinking it might be something wrong in obs settings itself or in sound control panel?
Does the echo occur when you watch back a recording? Double check you haven’t got something else also capturing audio in obs. This once happened to me as my camera was also picking up audio as well as my mic.

If you've copied the routing table exactly like it is in the video then the windows sound input setting should put set to sample. I forgot to go over this in the video but you can see it at 7.26min.
@@BenKaluza Sorry for my poor English but I was talking more about the microphone settings in the goXLR software (gate, equalizer, ...). I tried several combinations but I can't find anything of quality... 😅
@@eleaurbain6879 no worries. Ok so I won’t list out all of the different setting names within each but if you open up the gate, equaliser, compressor and de-esser these are my values. Gain: 50. Gate: -55, 100%, 10, 250. EQ: 2,2,2-2,-1-1-1,0,0,0. Compressor: -10, 3.2:1, 2, 45, 0. De-esser: 50. Let me know if that sounds any better.
hello brother new sub here and i just got the goxlr mini (same general configuration) my question with this is , do you hear all your audio in your headphones with alerts and all??
Yoo, yeah all audio comes through headphones including alerts and also plays on stream. These sounds will go through desktop audio channel in obs and in your headphones through the system sound. Occasionally my alerts don’t play but I think that is a streamelements/obs issue and not to do with the GOXLR.
Great video thanks. Can I ask you something. I use the goxlr mini and all audio come through one line in on obs but when someone reacts to my stream I can't hear it and stream can. Any ideas to what I can do to fix this?

11:41 How can you control each channel with GoXlr or is it not possible? When I try it shows the channel but the audio slider doesn't affect OBS Audio unless I route it to broadcast Stream Mix. OH and i use Singel PC
In order to affect the volume of obs the sound on the slider has to be under an audio output in the GOXLR routing table. I would recommend following exactly how I have done it in the video.
The issue I'm having is when I go to my streaming PC and try to add these channels separately in OBS, I'm unable to do that because all of the audio from the GOXLR is coming over the 3.5mm cable to the line in of the streaming pc. I'm not able to select any other options...
I had a discord update the other day and when I got on discord today I have no chat sound coming from output divide "chat". But yet if I switch my output to "music" "game" "system" or "sample" I have chat coming though?
@@Defect3401 that’s very strange I’ve never seen that problem before. You could maybe test the chat output for Spotify to confirm if it’s the output that’s causing the issue. If so then maybe update / reinstall the GOXLR app
@@Defect3401 yeah that’s weird, sounds like it might be discord. You should be able to test discord by testing your mic in the settings and seeing if it plays through the audio channel in obs. I show me doing this in the video.
So I followed everything to a tee and I am having one issue. I cannot adjust the slider for system audio. It adjusts the volume for me in my headphones, but doesn't adjust it in OBS and therefore not on stream. Anyone knows how to fix this? I'm going crazy trying to figure it out. I have my output audio set to System GoXLR as well.
You’re not alone. I also had this issue. Couldn’t work out why it wasn’t working despite system audio being set to my output. I gave up and didn’t ever find needing to use it.

@@Lifewithnathan. is your routing table and obs setup exactly like in the video. Any small changes can have a big impact on what is being recorded

Sounds like exactly what i need , i was looking for a way to seperate my game audio and mic but i have always had my goxlr connected to my gaming pc, i do have one question, if i record a video then input the video into my editing software will the tracks automatically be seperated or do i have to also set this up in obs audio settings for the inputs and outputs to be recorded to seperate tracks?
You need to set this up as separate audio tracks but this is easy with this setup. You just have to change recording settings to advance, then select how many audio tracks you want and then tick these by clicking on sound input advance settings.
Since recording the video I've realised that the goxlr mute button for my discord chat doesn't mute on stream. I instead just have this set to mute for headphones. If you do want this option you could just set a hot key in OBS to mute the specific sound channel for the discord chat.
Great tutorial! One question, The only part you don't show is what you have in the "Global Audio Devices" in the OBS audio settings?
I personally have all of these disabled. All having these enabled does is when you create a new scene it auto adds these audio channels. I just copy and paste my audio channels when I create new scenes.

How do you make it so whenever you join a vc on discord people can hear your goxlr fx? for example there are streamer's out there who join discord calls and use their voice fx from the goxlr or their samples and the other people who are in that call can hear it! but I'm having a hard time understanding what settings the goxlr are needs to be on discord in order for people to hear my fx and samples. Very good video. I do have one problem. Lol. My GoXLR is plugged into my gaming PC and I have all audio “line out” into my streaming PC. I’m not sure why I did it this way, it’s probably because I use an Elgato HD60S capture card so all audio runs through there.
I simply want to stop my music from being recorded in my VODS when I’m playing and listening to Spotify for copyright protection. What else can I do to accomplish this? Or am I screwed? Lol
this is one of the first times I've found someone using the goxlr "backwards" since everyone seems to plug it direct to their game PC. I wanted control of ALL the channels since nvidia shadowplay only separates system and mic sounds and I thought I was crazy for setting it up this way. thanks
This is 100% the best way to set it up. All of the videos on TH-cam telling you to plug it into the gaming completely avoid talking about the problems with that. One being what you mentioned in not being able to have audio on separate channels. This then gives you way less control of audio volume for your stream. Glad I could help.

hey man! your video is THE video that helped me after looking through hundreds for the right setup, so cheers! Quick question after using this setup for a few months. One thing i didnt realize is that while OBS starts picking up Discord audio using that chat volume, the goxlr volume slider only effects the chat (discord) volume for my headphones and doesnt actually adjust the volume in OBS for what viewers are hearing. Any ideas?
Hey, yeah this is a mistake in the video I made. This is not possible with my setup. Best off just setting up limiters and compressors for the audio channel is obs to stop it being too loud. I have another video on TH-cam I posted recently about that.

Question, do you run Discord on your gaming or streaming PC? It seems when I do everything on the routing tab that you did, people in my discord can hear whatever I am playing if I have discord open on my streaming PC, but if I run discord on my Gaming PC, then they can't hear my FX and Samples and all the fun stuff I want them to.

Everything seems to work fine so far, but I'm still facing a little inconvenience: do you think there is a way to route samples to discord, too? I mean, when I set my discord input as Sample, people can hear me on discord but they can't hear the samples I have on my GoXLR. Basically, I wish both my viewers (they do thanks to the Sampler output on OBS) and people on Discord could hear it. Thanks
I've had a think about this and I don't think it's possible on a dual pc without a compromise. If you do what the other comment says you can achieve this but then you need to route the game audio on a different channel.

Awesome video it definitely helped a lot! I had a few questions though as a single PC user with Blue Yeti X mic (connects to XLR by 3.5mm), Astro A50 w/ base station (connects to XLR by 3.5mm then to PC by micro USB to USB), stream deck XL and stream deck pedal (connects to PC by USB)..
1. The sampler cannot be heard from people in my game chat but other things like the voice changer can. Is there a way to include the sampler?
2. I set mine up the way you did but for some reason the voice chat slider does not go up and down when people in game chat are talking, is there any fix for these issues?
3. Should I be unchecking Line In on go XLR for all?

I would double check that your specific in game sound settings for input and output have been changed to sampler and voice chat. Also make sure that your windows sound input is set to sampler.

Yeah sure sorry I missed this. Line out of GOXLR into line in of gaming (this for the mic).
Line out of gaming pc into line in of GOXLR (this is gaming audio). Then plug GOXLR usb into streaming. On my gaming pc windows sound settings are Realtek audio output and line-in go input.

I have followed this guide to the letter and the only thing I can get to come thru on the stream in my Mic and the music ... What do i set the audio in the OBS settings to? and if i click broadcast on the other things like game in routing table im not sure that its mixing right because now ive got 1 slider in the audio that shows the game and music pushing that slider into the red.

GOXLR doesn’t have an off switch and doesn’t need the streaming pc on to be able to hear gaming one. Trust me

@@GhostvOne software has to be loaded and GOXLR configured. Once that has been done you can turn your streaming pc off and it works. If you then want to just turn your gaming pc next day, you don’t need to turn streaming pc to work. You can also control volume by the headphone slider. If you unplug GOXLR you will have to repeat step 1.

Yeah you don’t need your streaming pc turned on for the GOXLR to still work with gaming. You can adjust volume with headphone slider.

Line out of GOXLR into line in of gaming PC

Everything is routed the same in the GoXLR app of the streaming PC, and OBS has the correct inputs. The only thing that works is music and mic on the streaming PC, but that much should be a given. I really just want to be able to hear audio of whatever I'm doing on my gaming pc, be it youtube or my game and it's been rather elusive.
@@eddie7441 this will be related to the output selected on your gaming pc. I had similar issues before. On mine it’s set to Realtek speakers. I would have a play around with all your audio outputs on your gaming pc.

I notice that you have the Desktop and Game as separate controllable sources within OBS. However they seem intertwined for me, as in both my browser and game audio are captured on the same source.
How does assigning desktop as System separate it from the audio coming in from the gaming PC since any audio comes in from the Line In?

This is my exact problem. I have everything set up like your video and it works great while streaming. my obs has everything set up on different lines on my streaming computer. Goxlr is set up on my streaming computer. I hear game sound in obs and my headset.. but no in game chat or in game mic on gaming pc.. I can chat and use my mic through discord on my streaming PC... but mic dont work on gaming PC... I have the line out 3.5mm from goxlr to mic in on my gaming pc... and headphone line out from gaming pc 3.5 to line in on goxlr..and i can hear the game playing on goxlr and game chat..... My routing table is set up just like yours but still no mic sounds while in game on gaming pc .. They cant hear me in game but i can hear them... I play fortnite on gaming laptop and stream on pc.
Sound settings on gaming pc are set to Headphones Realtek audio and set to default device and default communications device on the playback tab.... and recording is set to Microphone USB audio device as default device and communication device. Dual pc set up with streaming computer del xps with nevida 2060 and gaming laptop alienware m15 r7... When i plug in the goxlr line out into the laptop line in then it recognizes it as a microphone usb audio device under the sound recording tab.... and i use the line out on the gaming laptop into the goxlr and it plays the game sound properly.... I dont understand why no mic sound is coming into the game pc from the line out of the goxlr when i have mirrored your routing table? Everything works in discord properly but just not in game. any advise? Thanks in advance.. your video was one out of 1,000 that actually worked for me 99% of the way... just the in game chat dont work for me.
Hey man, happy to try help, sounds like you have everything setup correct. First thing I’d say is are you sure the cable from the GOXLR to mic in on the gaming pc works? Has it been tested / used before? When you open up windows sound setting does the mic meter move when you talk or nothing?
You know the cable from gaming pc to GOXLR is working otherwise you wouldn’t hear game sound. Try swapping the cables and see what happens.

Hey brother , i have the same exact set up as you and i love it. Question , what if i want to play a sample sound so that ppl in my warzone game can hear it , how do i do that ? what routing do i turn on ? or is it even posible.. 🤔
You could maybe use voicemeeter to do this. Route both your mic and sample sound into voicemeeter and then output them into one virtual audio output. Then change this to your mic in game settings.

@@PreciseAimm yeah I just checked and you can def do it. So add both audio inputs into voicemeeter, make sure b1 is selected for both, then this will output both sounds to the virtual output that is created when you download the program.

So I have a single pc and I stream mostly cod. the discord audio on obs doesn’t volume down when I turn it down on my goxlr, it only volumes down for my headphones and the game sound and the voice chat go into that same channel. My music works to be turned down with my goxlr for me and stream and so does my mic. I’m only having trouble with my voice chat and system audio.
So I figured out the game sound but now I just need help on the voice chat. My goxlr only puts down the volume for me on my headset but not on the obs

Yeah 100%. I use mine all time when I’m not streaming. I couldn’t live with out it. I would recommend looking at the GOXLR mini or there is a new brand that has recently released a device called the Beacn Mix. This has had some very good reviews.

The reason I prefer this method over using the mute button on the GOXLR is because I use a foot pedal instead so I don’t have to take my hand off the controller.

Go into Control settings then audio then underneath global audio devices set mic/auxiliary audio to broadcast steam mix. Then in sourses make your music broadcast stream mix.
Hi, I have a question, I have done everything to the point where i can hear my gaming pc audio through my goxrl, aswell as my streaming pc audio without any issues! But as im trying to add the ''audio inputs'' into OBS on my streaming pc, using ''Chat mic'' for my ''game'' audio for instance, it won't show it being picked up on OBS. Do you know what i'm doing wrong?
1st thing I would ask is if the line-in to chat mic is ticked on the routing table? If you say you can hear your gaming pc through the goxlr then that should mean the line out to line in is setup and working. So just need to make sure the line-in is mapped to the chat mic output, then add this as an audio input in obs. You may have already done all of that but just wanted to double check.

hello, i'm still having audio echo while testing the sound for my stream, what could be causing it? Using single pc and the GoXLR mini. I'm thinking it might be something wrong in obs settings itself or in sound control panel?
Does the echo occur when you watch back a recording? Double check you haven’t got something else also capturing audio in obs. This once happened to me as my camera was also picking up audio as well as my mic.

If you've copied the routing table exactly like it is in the video then the windows sound input setting should put set to sample. I forgot to go over this in the video but you can see it at 7.26min.

@@eleaurbain6879 no worries. Ok so I won’t list out all of the different setting names within each but if you open up the gate, equaliser, compressor and de-esser these are my values. Gain: 50. Gate: -55, 100%, 10, 250. EQ: 2,2,2-2,-1-1-1,0,0,0. Compressor: -10, 3.2:1, 2, 45, 0. De-esser: 50.

Yoo, yeah all audio comes through headphones including alerts and also plays on stream. These sounds will go through desktop audio channel in obs and in your headphones through the system sound. Occasionally my alerts don’t play but I think that is a streamelements/obs issue and not to do with the GOXLR.

When I try it shows the channel but the audio slider doesn't affect OBS Audio unless I route it to broadcast Stream Mix.

In order to affect the volume of obs the sound on the slider has to be under an audio output in the GOXLR routing table.
I would recommend following exactly how I have done it in the video.

Mine doesn't personally but I believe this is possible as I have seen others on stream doing this.
The issue I'm having is when I go to my streaming PC and try to add these channels separately in OBS, I'm unable to do that because all of the audio from the GOXLR is coming over the 3.5mm cable to the line in of the streaming pc. I'm not able to select any other options...
You need to plug the usb into the streaming pc

I had a discord update the other day and when I got on discord today I have no chat sound coming from output divide "chat". But yet if I switch my output to "music" "game" "system" or "sample" I have chat coming though?
Double check your routing table in GOXLR app has chat ticked for headphones

@@Defect3401 yeah that’s weird, sounds like it might be discord. You should be able to test discord by testing your mic in the settings and seeing if it plays through the audio channel in obs. I show me doing this in the video.
So I followed everything to a tee and I am having one issue. I cannot adjust the slider for system audio. It adjusts the volume for me in my headphones, but doesn't adjust it in OBS and therefore not on stream. Anyone knows how to fix this? I'm going crazy trying to figure it out. I have my output audio set to System GoXLR as well.
You’re not alone. I also had this issue. Couldn’t work out why it wasn’t working despite system audio being set to my output. I gave up and didn’t ever find needing to use it.
Can you share your mic GOXLR settings?
To change your voice do you need your mic plug in to the goxlr ?

I am so confused by because my streaming doesn't have non of these audio sources but my gaming pc does and I don't know what I am doing wrong.
Have you install the goxlr software on your streaming pc?
@@BenKaluza I had, the only audio source is the "line in" that just pick up all of the audio from the gaming pc

@@BenKaluza In the output sound I but tc-helicon system and in input device I put Sample, broadcast stream mix or caht mic currently I use the go xlr mini with the shure sm7b microphone
is your go xlr usb running to your game pc or stream pc?

i belive all connected to the streaming pc since he mentioned that the gaming pc was turned off 😎

Yes. The only thing running on the gaming pc is the game.

@@DeRonTheOne Honestly I spent so long watching every video on YT and they all just ignore the problems of the conventional setup, so I sat down and work out my own unique way to do it and it works wonders

Still in the GOXLR? Mine isn't working being plugged in the same place it was when the GOXLR was on my gaming pc. Second is there a way to get music off of your vod on Kick? Thanks again man!

Wait so is ir goxlr plugged into it streaming pc or gaming ??!! Why would go XLR tell ppl to plug into gaming if it sucks ?!?!
Also, if it is plugged into streaming pc. Do u have a aux going line In and out into gaming ?
